I always wonder about all the other employees who weren't shown on TV. Did they get anything or were they completely ignored, which is probably what happened.
What's strange to me my mother is was and is well off. She stressed education, but kicked me out and didn't set up a college fund for me. Because it was either work or do to school so I worked then it was both. But with no help 🤷

On the scale of 'reward' this boss must be near the bottom of the list. 4×2,000 = 8,000. Holiday 2,000?. No mention of payment for being dance director for the 300 other outlets. Could be bad editing but don't think so.
I was thinking the same thing. Ten thousand dollars for each of her children would have been much better and a permanent raise and promotion.
Sadly it is always about money those 2000 are tax deductible, raising her salary and giving her a promotion isn't.
I just wish this whole thing didn't feel forced...but maybe I'm wrong It is a nice story.

I loved working at Waffle House because I made it fun. I would dance around to the jukebox. And I was always so nice to all the customers. But I had to quit because I had a massive heart attack
the only reason this happens is because it is looks to me like it is totally staged judging by the cameras, how do people not see the camera person and the people behind the camera person walking them forward and back, hasn't anyone ever watch a tv show or move being filmed there are people all over the place with gear and other things that the camera doesn't show you but everyone around can see
