If I was the ceo I would have payed off the whole mortgage. Six months is nothing but once those payments happen again it’s back to square one all over again. It’s all a tax write off to her caring about her finances, if this show never existed this woman would be god knows where right now. CEO’s job is to make the company money plain & simple because before this show became an idea she could care less. So she helps out one person, while the rest of the employees just get the shaft. I love this show but it really shows the ugly side of how the ceo treats the company & the workers. Stuff gets broke, people can’t make ends meet & there literally shocked for tv that it goes down hill. Like one show a woman working 12-14hr shifts, got remarried, she had 3 kids & the husband had 3 kids. She would work the whole week 12-14 hr shifts, she turned down an order because she(besides the disguised boss) the boss is like shocked over losing 1 order because she can’t do it all. She only cares about the money.

Look up diamond resorts that CEO paid his whole mortgage off 150k and gave him 50K in cash and with another employee he paid off all his school debt and set up trusts for all his kids schooling 50k each

I am a home health CNA, and I can't imagine any of the companies that I have worked for doing something like this. it's refreshing to see a home health company owner really take pride in the work that this employee did for her company, but mostly for her clients. That's why I got into this business to start off with. But working for companies who only see me as a number has ruined that. I recently retired from the career I have loved so much because a good human gets tired of being walked all over & taken advantage of, and can only tolerate it for so long. Other companies should take lessons from this business owner.

This is what I've been waiting for!
Working in the medical field is such a high pressured job. The problem with this is that in this field, hopefully it's MORE than just a job!! It takes heats bigger than the Grand Canyon. I did it for years and there was NEVER ENOUGH TIME to administer the great care that you want to give, and the patients deserve loving care and interaction other than pushing them thru a shower and plopping their bodies into bed as if they're a product and not a real person! These people were vital to all the generations that they've lived through! It's so sad when you can't give the patients the love, respect, and honor that they so richly deserve.
I worked 3 jobs at one time being a Certified Nursing Assistant in order to pay the bills and raise our 2 children. EVERY SINGLE PATIENT I had received care and my heart was all in. They became family to me.
Unfortunately, working in a nursing home can do a devastating job on your body. Once, I had a miscarriage because I had to keep a patient from taking a terrible fall. I felt the baby tear from the placenta walls the minute it happened. 😢 This incident would NOT have happened if we had been properly staffed.
My body actually gave out. My body demanded that i come to a complete stop. Due to the heavy stress that was put on my body, I've had to have a triple lamenectomy in my back-to keep me from becoming paralyzed, I've had 2 neck fusions-now I have very limited range of motion in my neck-and this makes a job as simple as driving a car a very difficult task. Last but not least, I developed a Pseudo-tumor in my brain for which I had 2 malfunctioning shunts (one cranial and 1 lumbar shunt). At this point, my career was over. The cranial shunt was contaminated when they put it in. The tubing poked thru my stomachache and was shooting spinal fluid at full pressure! Very scary and serious! I spent years in bed, raising kids in between bed rest. We had to file bankruptcy because there was the loss of my 4 job income. My husband worked 10-12 hours a day and he had to come home, at times, to take care of the kids when I was completely out of commission.
I love seeing people rewarded for doing incredible feats of work while still doing it with a smile, while they may be dying inside.
