This is a huge hassle, but I may be misunderstanding something. Thanks.
Followed the directions to a T. Even after rebooting, was getting “no CoinOpsX file found”. Like some other users, I am getting the games to come up in BYOG Add-on. I’m guessing it’s the firmware as I just got the unit this week. Awesome tutorial and community.
In all honesty, i was dumbfounded that "Golden Tee Golf" (of some sort) wasn't in the game list of the version i got. It was 5.0 but you can never tell what you're gonna get.
How do you exit the program to go back to the AtGames Home Screen? How do you jump to a certain letter so you don't have to scroll starting at A through thousands of games to get to a particular game? It's a pain if you want to play a game that starts with M or something starting at A or Z and take forever to scroll one game at a time to get all the way from A to M? How do you add and remove games to your favorites?

Just now trying this. Was very excited -- except I canNOT, no matter what I do, partition my USB drive with two different drive names. Is it because I'm using Windows 7 still? Do I need Windows 10 for that? I downloaded some freeware, but it still won't let me put two drive names on one card. Really frustrated at how easy you all make this look, and I can't get seem to get it done. Anyway, thanks for your tutorial as well. Viewing several of these all together helps.
I can't create partitions on my USB sandisk 128GB drive. Disk management won't allow me to delete volume. When I try, it says the request is not supported. :/
Great video easy to follow. I've booted it on my at games legends pinball table however the bezels are not at the top and bottom. Is there anyway to change this
Thanks for the tutorial! It install just fine and the games are there. One question though, I dont have any of the artwork, just a list of games. I used the files from a reddit forum and they were very similar to the ones you downloaded. I read through the text files and did not see anything that would require "overwritting" files the way you had to do for some of the files. Any ideas as to why the artwork would not be showing? Any help would be appreciated.
So if 1 partition is enough for new cabs like 1.2, do i still need to go to disk management and delete volume? Or just formatting it to exfat will suffice? I mean, the reason you're going to disks management is to divide the usb into 2 partitions to begin with but just having 1 partition, deleting volume at disk management becomes redundant doesn't it?
Hi Pdub, new to this. I was able to follow your instructions and everything works, however the frontend doesn't look the same as yours. scrolling through and selecting games is virtually impossible. Thanks for the video!
There are different versions of coinopsx. X5 full is about 65GB. The menus may different because pdubs might be in a different category list. Moving through stick left or right switches categories. If you move to ALL GAMES it will give you the long, entire list (about 1900 games)
Hello Pdub. Thank you for the video , it was extraordinarily helpful. However , I’m having trouble getting my addonx tool to finish building. It just shuts down before finishing the build. Any advice you could give me would be most helpful. Thank you again for all you do.
Thank you so much for the perfectly detailed information. I set it up with absolutely no problems. Love the games, they're taking me back to the 80s. I have a question I'm hoping someone can help me with. Can you play Apple 2e games on the Ultimate Legends? Like Broderbund's Lode Runner (Apple 2e version) and others? Thanks again!
So it has to be a 128gb flash drive? Also, is there an official website for this so we can see when next update is? Loving how atgames updates its products too. I just found out you can boot directly to coin ops which is a blessing because my brother isn't very tech savvy
Do you have to have all of your mame's on the thumb drive for this build or can you use two thumbdrives. I have split it in the past and now it is not working. Can anyone please advise? Thank you for your time and effort.
My apologies I just read that this is a single drive. Does anyone have a link on how to copy one thumb drive to another. I want to have a backup just in case I screw this up (which I have been known to do.) Thank you again for your time and effort.
Great video. I just did this with the latest build and it says the fixes are included which is why I am guessing I don’t see the fox files you were dragging. Games work great but on screen the game title is just normal font and nothing shows up on the little tv screen. How donInfix that?
Hey there, have you tried messing with this at all with up to date firmware? I followed your video and the games seem to work but the menu itself is messed up and definitely not like yours.. I appreciate any help, loved your video though!
Sorry if this is a stupid question but...if i have different sauces on different USB sticks, can i simply pop one out and put another in...or is there a process i'm missing without messing up the mount? Put it as simple as humanly possible because my brain is just not working these days. Thanks!
I was sent her by the NOD tutorials, and I followed every step from here and Wagner's Tech Talk but none of the menus are working? It just shows a generic coinopsX Arcade machine graphic and all of the games written in text and reverse at the top of the screen. None of the graphics change as I go through the list and the backbox graphics do not work at all. Any advice? Thanks
Is it recommended to update to the latest official firmware first? If so, do I still need to power off and on before attempting to open CoinOPSx for the first time on the ALU?
Do I have to roll back by Legends Firmware to use this latest version? Its kinda confusing between Sauce and CoinOps and I thought there was a distinct difference between One Sauce and CoinOps but you're referring to this as Sauce as well.
Hi my friend has just bought a loaded memory stick/drive with up to 3000 games ranging from SNES to Gameboy for his ultimate arcade and it’s great, just wondering is it a simple case of drag and drop in terms of the files to put it on a separate memory drive?
Great tutorial but I can't get it to work. I've gone through the steps 3 times from the beginning and it craps out during the AddOnX tool. I get through the S's and into the T's sometimes then it just stops. I've tried expanding the first partition to 38Gbs, even tried to only add the Arcade folder and supporting folders minus the 3, 4 player and lightgun builds. Nope, none have worked. I've tried to mount the drive even though AddOnX tool doesn't complete and I can get formatted and mounted and twice I was able to install CoinOpX app, but the USB symbol continues to flash and never resolves. Any thoughts or help would be awesome, because this is the reason why I went this route with a cabinet.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft it stopped on a couple different ones and have only been able to get it to work in standard Addon mode. Takes awhile to load but once it does I’ve only run into a couple situations where it would get hung up on loading a game. I’ll keep thinking with it.

There are different versions of coinopsx. X5 full is about 65GB. The menus may different because pdubs might be in a different category list.
Moving through stick left or right switches categories. If you move to ALL GAMES it will give you the long, entire list (about 1900 games)
Will watch in the am. Thanks for this. Is chat in the discord disabled? So confused as I only see welcome only
Most welcome!
Works perfectly! Do you know how to exit to the main menu? The rewind exit is now working
Hello Pdub. Thank you for the video , it was extraordinarily helpful. However , I’m having trouble getting my addonx tool to finish building. It just shuts down before finishing the build. Any advice you could give me would be most helpful. Thank you again for all you do.
Turn off your Screensaver, run it again
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Just did with the deactivation, but the crashing still persists. At this point I’m lost.
Do you have your PC power settings set for x amount of hours?
Thank you so much for the perfectly detailed information. I set it up with absolutely no problems. Love the games, they're taking me back to the 80s.
I have a question I'm hoping someone can help me with. Can you play Apple 2e games on the Ultimate Legends? Like Broderbund's Lode Runner (Apple 2e version) and others?
Thanks again!
Did you make a follow-up video to this? Can't seem to find it..you talked about a video with the games and features. :)
I am wondering the same thing. Seems like he didn't make one.
Wondering if 5.0 fixes Dig Dug and Power Drift??
I'll have e a video for this soon
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Was their ever an update or answer on this question?
So it has to be a 128gb flash drive? Also, is there an official website for this so we can see when next update is? Loving how atgames updates its products too. I just found out you can boot directly to coin ops which is a blessing because my brother isn't very tech savvy
128GB seems a good size as if you download the entire build plus all the fixes it's about 71GB unzipped. No I cannot share links.
Wanted to clarify. This is when I am scrolling through the games.
@@posedog10 I am having similar issue, ever figure it out?
Just to say, I get this too. No preview graphics, and all titles are just small text. Games seem to load up fine, though.
Great content! Is there a reason CoinOpsX doesn't have the playstation 1 emulator and roms? Would love to play blitz. Thanks!
Hey there, have you tried messing with this at all with up to date firmware? I followed your video and the games seem to work but the menu itself is messed up and definitely not like yours.. I appreciate any help, loved your video though!
I'm on 5.65 works fine
Can all of this be done on a Mac? New to all of this so I appreciate the advice.
Does this built include the wopr with cheese or do I have to do that separately? Thanks
Separate. Wopr is for vertical screens
If the new drive is partitioned the way he explains in the video, than yes. Don't forget to run the AddOnX tool after that.
Is there any tutorial to add any possible missing games you may want to add?
Any thoughts or help would be awesome, because this is the reason why I went this route with a cabinet.
whatever game it 'pauses' or 'freezes' on when running the addonX tool - go into that UCE folder and delete the game and re-run the tool.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft it stopped on a couple different ones and have only been able to get it to work in standard Addon mode. Takes awhile to load but once it does I’ve only run into a couple situations where it would get hung up on loading a game. I’ll keep thinking with it.
