I remember doing 4 player upgrades on coin-op arcade games in the 1990's; I think BLITZ football and GAUNTLET were two. Interesting to see what 2022 has to offer.
You could, it would only take you about 60 seconds with a power drill and one of those circular saw bits. You'd likely need to order the right sized bit though as I doubt it's a common diameter. From there it's just pop in the spinners from the old top and hook them up the same way as the original. Personally I never play any arcade games that use a spinner so I prefer it without them.
Hi, Are you still using the Quad Deck? I'm still trying to figure out how to map the c button on the 3rd or 4th player of the quad deck. For games like rampage or nba jams, there is no c button so I can't play those games since they use that button. Or do you know of a way to remap the c button to maybe the x or y button? Thanks
Installed my quadplay yesterday on my 1.1. after transferring my trackball from the original deck.( quick note i do have a bitpixel hooked up to an LBPA) updated software to latest on alu and quadplay..Got everything working fine on stock software. meanwhile I downloaded the newest fixed Coinopsx and plugged in. It loaded no problem except now quadplay controls dont work...AT ALL. the 4 blue lights dont stop flashing, which they did when i originally plugged in the quadplay usb. Is there not enough power maybe going to the USB? do I need a powered USB port? any help would be appreciated
@@TampaTec Welp...I did a thing...got annoyed and factory reset the machine. now Im stick on firmware 10942_a2 and whenever I try to redownload the new firmware I get "download file size is incorrect please try again later" 🤦
@@serenitynow007 the information is on the top of the cabinet. Version 1 does not have the buttons for the bumpers for the pinball games, on the side of the arcade cab. Version 1.1 should have those spaces on the side of the control panel for the buttons for your pinball games.
Shame none of those sales actually exist, they must have lasted days if at all, as I never saw them, and they no longer exist. At least there is a new sale on Nov 10th, hopefully those are as good.
Just installed it on Christmas Eve (2023). Thanks for the help

Would have been amazing if at games included a four way joystick option for the trackball slot.
I have two legends pros. How to I change the settings so that it recognizes p3&4?
Placed my order 395 days ago. Patiently waiting. Lol
Pre-order a year ago 🤔 wow. it releases soon.

Hi,
Great video! Thanks for showing it! Question. Did you try it just hooked up to a PC? Wondering if it would work just directly hooked up to a PC.
Should work because most PC games buttons can be mapped in settings. I'll try it.
@@TampaTec Awesome! Can't wait to see your results!
What long screws are you using?
Do you know what size screws are needed if taking the trackball from the original arcade panel?
Do you think they might make a quadplay for 1.0 owners?
I Hope so, but for now only way to play 4 player is via Bluetooth or USB cable on 1.0v .
Did you mean USB cable on the 1.1 version not 1.0 v?
Are you using a mod to have all those games?

Hold atgames button for 10 sec to turn off Bluetooth mode, then controls should work. Atgames sent firmware update to fix it, I think.
