Tip that a lot of people don’t know: the drain attack for ivy blood codes (the ones where blades come from the ground) can be used at a range by aiming it with right stick while charging it (you move the black mist that appears at your feet)
I really though it was easy to see, like in the trailer for the Ivy Blood Code if i'm right you can see it moving the black mist below the ground to the monster, even without that you could just mess with the control when charging it with the right or left stick and you could have seen it. But hey at least now people will know about it (and it's so cool and useful to do some ambush to monster laying around playing the dead trick on us).

Bin on a backlog binge , blasting thru games just to get them done, but took my time with this and did everything. The only point I have, is with the armour not upgrading the defence stats, makes no sense, only put it up to one shot things later. I used Louis code all the way thru the game with passive skills of strength/bit etc... Off other codes and the element sword buffs, his sword with him as companion. You can stagger enemies one after another between you for most of the game rarely getting hit.
This video should be called basic tips
Imma just stop you briefly. But that Vamp hunter D appearance tho.
Great video. Drains are super important if you want more max ichor between runs. I abused quick drains and backstabs for knockdowns and ichor but could never master parrying. I still cannot figure out how to charge drain on PS4. Hoping NG+ harder difficulty forces me to figure it out!
Anybody know if the blood veils have different parry timings and if so which one is the fastest from you pressing the button to getting your parry frames?
Claw is the fastest, then I think it's either hound then thorn (or the other way around) and then ivy.
@@derricktsai3157 thank you
Why do none of the guides mention that with the blood vales that stab in the ground you can move the area of effect marker on the ground if you use your analog stick while its charged or WASD keys?
TY for the nice guide, i didnt even know that you can chain combo in this game lol. A question tho :
So i dont know if im missing sth but the proficiency of all my skill in the Artemis blood code ( 1 of Mia code) isnt increase at all, like the guard of honor, the passive one, none of them is filling up at all, i clear the entire cathedral with this class + spamming guard of honor and the bayonet skill, and the bar wont fill up even 1 bit, am i bug or sth, other class work fine, just got ISIS gonna test it later..
Hey!
Can someone post a good build like dark magic or insane two handed build plz :) No delux tho :)
combine ur two handed with Jack partner ability. its very cheesy for the boss fights
