- Pixar recently released their newest movie, Inside Out 2, a sequel to their 2015 modern day classic. Considering the very underwhelming track record for both modern Pixar movies and Pixar sequels in general, one must wonder how Inside Out 2 turns out in comparison. Well, it turned out exactly as good as you think it would.

We really got Pixar making the same movie twice before GTA VI.

Cinemasins has better movie rating skills. They actually remove negative points about the movie, if this part is so good, it deserves to remove a negative point about it.
Well I would say this is a very good film and Pixar's best Non-Toy Story sequel so far but I understand your point+opinion and respect.

He gave it a 7/10 which still means it’s good for my standards.
I liked Inside Out 2, but it feels so much smaller. The "Sarcasm" and "Brainstorm" are great world building, but they don't work too well as roadblocks because they aren't really a result of Riley's conflicting emotions. They're just a result of Riley growing up/literally thinking! (In the first movie, the roadblocks were Riley as a person breaking apart). Good movie- that I wish didn't try to copy the same formula of the first movie and would have expressed its strong themes in a better way. Great humor, themes, and world building, but bad plot, and too fast paced so it's emotional beats felt...rushed?
Also why did people not like strange world it was such a cool movie

I didn't see this movie yet, but... I think it's time for Pixar to return back to television animation for a bit.
It seems like this movie is now doing good, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s the most tolerable movie this year.
Hopefully it gets better .

I for one thought Inside Out 2 was great, but it could have been better if Lance Slashblade, Bloofy and Nostalgia had more screen time.
