    Yes it can!- Follow the "How to Paint your Cabinets" video on the Liquid Stainless DVD that comes in the Fridge kit- You may need to buy two Fridge Kits depending on how many cabinets you have. Hope this helps!

    After researching a bit I think I might actually try this. I'm a part time worker and full time student who wants to remodel my teeny tiny house I'm renting from a family owned duplex. If I could choose anything I would have wanted my stove to be dark purple or maybe blue. But all the appliance paints I've found are white brown or black. I considered spray paints but that didn't really appeal to me.
    I'm thinking steel is a very possible choice, and I could use black epoxy paint for the handles.

    @alinsoutherncal Thank you for your comment. There are so many variations in color among fabricated stainless steel appliances that it's impossible to match them all. Liquid Stainless Steel matches some well and some not so well. The one thing all our customers agree on is Liquid Stainless Steel matches much better than Harvest Gold, Avocodo Green or White if they already own 1 or 2 stainless appliances.

    What if the appliance has a textured finish? Our refrigerator is textured, and that wouldn't look good stainless. Will it fill in the pattern?

      Mine did too, like some little pebbly stuff and I used liquid stainless steel and it turned out great. It just looks like a stainless steel fridge with texture. Friends & family visiting thought I bought new appliances! I did 3 top coats a little over a year later (with high use from teens & a grandson) not one chip!!!

    Liquid Stainless offers a way to update appliances you already have. This helps save money and revive your kitchen. Many customers prefer a brushed stainless look to an olive green or plain white.

    If you scratch your stainless steel paint you can always refinish your appliance- unlike real stainless steel.

    how did you paint the handles and the water dispenser? It was white at first now it's a different color

    • @Matt-gg5vf
      @Matt-gg5vf 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They didn't, the final shot is a different fridge. Probably one that was already stainless steel.

  • @fthomas700

    @hurmpfff Shaking can incorporate too much air and adversely affect the finish. Yes, it has good adhesion to glass. No, you can't paint an exhaust pipe. The finish will turn brown. Liquid Stainless Steel maintains its color up to 300 degrees F.

    @fthomas700 is it ok to use Liquid Stainless steel to paint a microwave handle? The handle is from a stainless appliance, however the handle is plastic and had some sort of stainless coating that is chipping off and rather sharp, this was covered by the previous home owner with foil tape which looks... tacky. I was hoping to remove this coating from the plastic handle, and repaint it.

      Hi There! Great Question! Sand your handle smooth and remove all sharp edges or peeling surfaces so that you have a smooth fresh surface ready for refinishing. Next apply a primer that is made for adhering to plastic. Your local paint store should have many options. Use a foam brush to completely cover the handle with your primer. After the primer has dried, you will be ready to apply our Liquid Stainless Steel! Make sure that your primer brush stokes match the direction of your stainless brush stokes so that your final finish doesn't appear to have two directions of "Brushed Stainless" Happy Painting! Ever see a stainless steel appliance with a house full of kids? The house I bought last year had a brand new stainless steel dishwasher & over the stove microwave, but the fridge & stove were old & used to be white I think but were yellowed with age. Didnt have $$ for new appliances so I used liquid stainless steel and painted both and they look amazing!! With 3 coats of top coat and teens & a grandson slamming the crap out of it for over a year....no chips in the paint! Not one! However the real stainless steel dishwasher has tons of scratches! Here's a big TIP: order replacement decals!!! I ordered new oven decals for $60. So with paint & decals I transformed my kitchen for $160! And when my parents visited and said "oh you got new appliances!" When I said I painted the old they didn't believe me. It's great to be skeptical but you have nothing to lose. Best bet, buy some junk appliance on a buy sell trade page for $50 and do a test. A little bit of extra money but peace of mind! Good luck!

    Yvette Hint - Great Question! You get to stick to the same process as painting the rest of your microwave only be extra careful not to have too much paint because the last thing you want is for paint to drip down into your appliance. Also painting extra thin in this area will ensure that you are not blocking the air flow with dried paint. Because there are so many different makes and models it is hard for us to know if this will be more difficult in your case. Please just use your best judgment. We have awesome customer service and if you would like to email a photo to bhuelsing@gianigranite.com she can give additional advice for your particular circumstance. Thank you!
