Large wheels on the rear, combined with swivel casters on the front, allow the Ridgid hd1800 shop vac to traverse just about any shop obstacles. You can pick this up at the Home Depot for just $149.

I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)

Great review of the Ridgid Shop Vac and am impressed with the thorough and detailed review of all accessories and how they "fit" onto the Shop Vac body. I am researching tools for a new manufacturing operation we will be setting up in a few months and will be watching more of these tool reviews

I have the smallest Ridgid unit for it's portability and it's still a beast. I can't Imagine the suction power this thing has! Ridgid shop vacs are the way to go all day

Great vacuum for auto detailing or anyone🌼 who wants to clean up their car.. I have tried so many vacuums over the years. This one is the best for auto detail. Its got powerful suction it will pick up pet hair deep in the carpet. Nice nozzle station on top so you don't have to get nozzle dirty.

second thought, you mention the filters get wet and moldy ect when used with water.. why doesnt anyone make a two part vacuum with a baffle wall between the two parts so the water or atleast the vast majority of it go into one area and the fine dust can be captured by the filter bag

Wouldn't mind getting a Ridgid shop vacuum, because dogs leave their fur behind, which brooms can't pick up.

any chance you can do a video phoning ridgid with a broken vacuum, i had a smaller ridgid shopvac and the motor ate something or come apart was throwing the bits of the brushes and commutator out the top.. called and they wanted me to pay for shipping to their facility for it to be repaired.... would of cost 70-80$ shipping on a 100$ vacuum and they wouldnt even guarantee me a repair or replacement they said they needed to inspect it first
id like to buy a nice proper full size shop vac soon and ridgid probably makes the best one but i cant justify that unless i see their warranty process change

@@Shoptoolreviews Unfortunately you didn't even turn it on so that we could see how loud it is or how well it works. You just talked about the features that could be read about online. I don't like being the wet blanket here but if you can spare the time you should revise this video to provide something more than just the information one can read on the home depot site. Just an opinion, however I'm now about to go look for a video that demonstrates this vacuum.

I have been looking at shop vacs to complete my workshop and this model seems to be the newest but as the poster said they decreased the cfm by 10 percent with this model. So you gain some cosmetic and functionality changes but you go from 200ish cfm For the wd1956 and MOB1600 to 180ish cfm for this one. Crazy they are moving backwards... Any idea why?

Does it have a pump? I need to suck up flooded water in a basement and want to attach a hose and let it drain into a slop sink so i don’t have to keep lifting the bucket or rolling it outside to drain.
