I’m currently trying to figure out what type of dysmenorrhea I might have, since I’m 23 years old (have had periods for 11 years) and everytime I see my OBGYN, she says that everything looks normal. Yet I’m currently in bed in debilitating pain, and I have a family history of fibroids. Oh well, at least multiple naproxens a day and medical cannabis help me for now. My mom and grandmother had fibroids removed, but they tell me not to worry because they were middle aged at the time, and I’m pretty young.

Maybe in the future depending on your plans this could be a possibility. 🙂Fibroids can be seen on ultrasound, when there is an uncertainty an MRI of the pelvis can be done. 🙂
