I have the ASUS TUF F15 2023 i7 12700H AND RTX 4070, I am thinking of buying 2 WD SN850X 4TB SSDs since I work with heavy files in 6k and 8k video editing. Do you think that those 2 SSDs that I mentioned are compatible and that you can place them without problems?

The one I had was having 1 NVME Only no 2nd Slot
However if you get with a higher specs like R7 4800+1660ti then that has a 2nd slot to put in a NVME

U can put in any amount of SSD there is no upper limit

If you have the exact same mode which I have disassembled then you won't find another M.2 Slot
M.2 Slot is available on other variants of the same Series.
The best way is to just open it up and check there is no harm in just unscrewing it

Dangerous 😢You must remove the battery connector . You did not show the video after installjng the upgrade, maybe the laptop not turning on or no display now..
Hehe...yes you r right it is dangerours if you are not careful enough...if you power down the Laptop changing RAM, HDD or SSD is never a issue even if Battery is connected. But yes to be safe you should always disconnect battery and then keep the power button pressed for 10-15 secs to clear it from any remaining charge and then do the swapping. But for experts never mind😁😁

Not necessarily. But it's always better to have the same brand ones.

A15 has two versions 2021 edition has 2 SSD Slots and all later...anytime you can open and inspect

Hi, my windows is installed on the ssd that came with the laptop, right? So how can I upgrade ssd?
Ok in that case there are two ways
First check if your laptop has 2 SSD Slots if so simply Pop In the new SSD to the 2nd Slot and clone the OS from 1st to 2nd
If you dont have a 2nd Slot then create a SSD Disk image using any softwares like Acronis, Aomei Backuper,etc and save it to any external drive. Now put in the new SSD and restore the saved image onto that

In the model which I showed.. there is only a single M.2 Slot and a SATA Port
In newer models there is 2 M.2 Slots
So whatever it is you can install 2 TB SSD without any issues

It is not necessary to use a 3200 MHz stick for Dual Channel. However to have a max performance 3200 MHz will give a good boost

my asus tuf f15 came with 8gb 2666mhz ram and i hve two choices 1. 8gb 2666mhz 2. 8GB 3200 mhz ram (2666 is cheaper) . if i use 3200+2666 will it still give me the max perrformance(dual channeling) or i have to use 2666+2666 to for max performance (dual channel)? ((my laptops supports 3200 mhz ram)).
Just go for the 3200 Mhz version
RAM has an inbuilt variable clock speed option and can downclock to the desired frequency to match the other RAM
It will perform in Dual Channel mode without any issues

I have single channel ram in my laptop does it support dual channel cruial 8gb ram?
To enable dual-channel memory mode, the key requirement is to use RAM modules of the same type (e.g., DDR3, DDR4) and ideally matching size and speed. While having identical RAM modules is optimal, mixing different capacities or brands will still work, but the performance may not be as efficient as with matched modules. The motherboard will handle the configuration automatically as long as the modules are compatible. So basically yes just go ahead with a 8GB DDR4 RAM and it will be wonderful
