    That bottom right screw is a captive screw that's meant to stay in. It lifts up the bottom to allow you to open it. they also put a 512GB SSD in it for the same reason most Gaming Laptops still come with 8GB Single Channel RAM. To keep costs down.

    • @deuceex1492

      Stupid to think 8g memory is only 20$ they can just put 16g in

    • @TheOmegaRiddler
      @TheOmegaRiddler 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@deuceex1492 That's because DDR4 RAM is for a dead platform. Intel and AMD now sell laptops with the latest hardware, which means DDR5 RAM, and that is still expensive. Last I check, a 32GB kit is near £100

      Been using this since last time I wrote that comment. I popped in a 980 pro - without a heatsink and been playing games without any problems. No overheating.

      Thank you for answering so fast! I'll be getting it without heatsink then. I think I'll go for the 4tb version. I do alot of 3d modeling and they take up alot of space. I'll go for the vengeance 2x32gb aswell for when I 3d scan

      @@JakobkikI put on mine a 6mm heatsink and it fits, also there is still some space until the case. I would probably say you can fit an 8mm heatsink inside if you also use a 0.5mm thermal pad. But don't go higher.

      ASUS said that you can upgrade it up to 32 GB: 1x32 GB or 2x16 GB. But on Crucial it said that you can upgrade it up to 64 GB: 1x64 or 2x32 but if you want to be completely sure that nothing goes wrong then go with the 32 variant.

    Hey i love your Content, your Videos are the reason, why i found this Powerfull Laptop Asus Rog Strix G16 with RTX 4060, that's the best Laptop for under 2000, but i'm mot sure why mine has 1TB SSD and more threads and everything, same processor, same RTX, same Laptop but mine is a bit more powerfull then yours, and costed bit more, but is it like dat only in switzerland (from where i from) or does everywhere have 2 different Asus Rog Strix G16 i7-13650 RTX 4060, cuz ye mine has 1TB SSD, 240Hz, 20-Threads, 16-Cores, 1600p and cost more, is dat jus the switzerland version or does they exist everywhere? I mean the screen is 1600p yours have 1440p right? So mine will be a bit more powerfull ig, anyways how you like the laptop overall? Does i can only Play, or is it possible to make videos, livestream (ik from the webcam, i just wanna know if that works) or making word documents, or working and wrinting? Or jus only gaming? n another thing, Could it be that 8GB GDDR6-VRAM won't be enough in around 1-2 years? I will upgrade the RAM to 32GB so dat won't be a Problem, ima jus scared dat when GTA 6 commin' out in around 1-2 years that it won't be possible to play it wit 8GB VRAM, or just other games, that comes out this or next year idk, i mean i could play then gta 6 wit 1080p low settings but still could it be not enough yk, cuz many people say dat 8GB don't be enough in some time, do u agree or not? n another Question, how you think would Red Dead Redemption run, how much FPS with Ultra Settings DLSS Quality or Quality Performance, Frame Generation and 1600p? Will dat run smoothly? Around how much AVG FPS?
    But ye i really love dat laptop, i have it in 10 Days, it is very powerfull, the powerfullst laptop under 2000, i'm just scared 8GB Vram won't be enough in around 1-2 years what do you say? If i add to 32GB Ram will this Laptop be good enough to bring me 1-2 Years, and will it run GTA 6 (when it comes in 2 years, at leats at low settings with dlss, fg on 1080p?) Or just the games dat commin' out in this n next year yk? n last Question is it possible, dat u could post a video how to change RAM, like this vide, but with the Asus Rog Strix G16? Would be Great! Anyways Thanks for your videos, without your videos, idk if i found dat laptop, have a nice day!:)

      Laptops only have 2 ram slots. If you are buying the 16 gb one, it will most probably come with both slots filled with 8gb ram sticks (total 16 gb). If you want to have 32 gb ram, you need to buy 2 ram sticks of 16 gb each.
