    Nice build again Collin. But I feel we could do without the music during the build, it’s distracting and I much rather hear your clock in the background.

      I agree with this. The music is not as relaxing as the rhythm of your work.

      Same, hearing you put the pieces together was the best ASMR to me

    Nice buid. Altough I prefer no background music or fast editing. The sound of the plastic pieces are more inmersive in the building experience, at least for me.
    Thanks.

      I agree... I much prefer you're usual style... normal speed and just ambient sounds.
      But it's your channel, so you should do what you like with it.

    Hi QDC.....
    Please.... 🙏🙏
    Don't play Music when you build a Model....
    I can't hear the Airbrush, the "click" of the plastic.... It's strange....
    I'am sorry.... 😬🤷‍♂️

    Great build! I have to say I much prefer the videos you made without the music in them, it's what separates your videos from the rest. watching you describe how you did something or random little tips here and there were always enjoyed and appreciated. plus just the sound itself was better!

    Don't try to fix something that isn't broken; no need for music and fast-forward during build.

    Great to watch as usual. You prevented me gluing the jack the wrong way...Anyone know where to buy brass shell casings for what ever this tank fired?

    Another great build and a stunning end result as always. I love the fact that you did it Panzer Grau, now I feel inspired and really do need to invest in a Tamiya Panzer III, to go with my Panzer IV that I did last year.. :) The detailing made the build stand out, it has clearly seen battle and been through some rough times, yet still well maintained by the crew. After all, their lives depended on keeping the tank operational.. so yes, great build, excellent end result... the use of a candle to soften the plastic is added to my book of handy ideas, I may give it a go at some point, certainly worth trying! ..and as for the music? Well, I like it.. sometimes we need a little bit of jolly in our lives and it cheered me up, for sure. The dramatic 'Ride of The Valkyries' was especially suitable, considering Wagner was a favorite of Herr Hitler.. :) PS: Great to see Buster keeping an eye on the progress as well.. ;)

    I really like the depth you've achieved here - especially on the running gear and the lower hull. The dry-brushing and the weathering really make it pop. Great result!

    I am a simple man, when i read "Panzer III" i click :) You did an excellent job mate, great model and presentation. The kit is a true classic and although there might be more detailed kits of the same vehicle out there these days, it is still an option to consider i think. Well done!

      The rubber tracks appealed to me.. I will buy a kit tomorrow, when I get paid.. ;)

      @@BasicModelling I love the Tamiya classics, although I've bought an Aber barrel and Fruilmodel tracks. Plus I've spilt glue over one side so need to hide that with some chain.

    • @BasicModelling
      @BasicModelling 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joinery1888 It is easily done, spilling glue.. I normally knock paints over. Personally I don't have the patience or nimble enough fingers, nor the eyesight to do things like Friul tracks but I always admire those who use that kind of stuff.. :)

    • @joinery1888
      @joinery1888 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BasicModelling certainly is, especially if you are having a beer whilst building :). I've also never used any metal parts so this will be a learning curve all goes well. Good luck with your build.

    I loved the build. Great job on the model and the detail you put into it. Keep up the great work. As I read down on the comments. I do agree with some of the other people that have commented. I did like the comments and descriptions on how you built your model. The music is a good idea. Just don't stop how you were going before. You did a damn good job with it. Don't ever stop building. Gotta love the cat as well.

    Fantastic work on the battle damage/wear and tear as well. I've never been brave enough to try this 😁. Your candle technique is a stroke of genius - and I'll have to give it a shot on a future project 👍
    Honestly, these classic Tamiya armour kits are just so nice. They hold up really well today, and represent great value for money. I recently made their IS-2, and it's one of my all time favourite builds 😻
    Until next time! 😉👍

      I'm not good at any weathering either but what I do to practice so I don't ruin any expensive big models I practice on the smaller 1 72 or 1 76 scale models also another youtube channel that gave me the courage to try weathering is andys hobby headquarters he did a video on how to weather afrika corps tanks and I tried it and turned out fantastic

    I really enjoy watch your videos..Great run down of the history of the Panzer iii..I’ve always liked the Panzer iii in desert camo scheme..It was the iconic Africa Korps tank then..But any scheme of the Panzer iii looks good
    Great build of this Tamiya kit and seeing your assessment of this kit,I’m thinking about it..I built the old Tamiya Panzer iii in the late 80’s..So this 1997 version will be an update to me😬..Thank you again and all the best from Blighty🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

    Another great example off a tank with an amazing paint job. Your drybrushing really does this kit justice along with the depth and contrast of your painting skill . Welldone another great video with or without music say hi to Buster and stay safe. PS your figuer painting is also going from strength to strength.
