This video is an explanation about the Panzer 3 Variants.
Although there are advance ways to explained but this is the Easiest and fastest way
We found out a simple way to quickly Identify the Variant fast from the Wheels as well as the Turrets.
We faced a lot of confusion about the differences between ASUF. A , ASUF. B ASUF. C G H J J1 K a before making the Panzer three German technology and history.
So here we are explaining the differences between the Panzer Variants as brief and fast as Possible.
First of all, What does "Ausf" mean?
"Ausf" in German Tanks is the short form for "Ausführung", which means “Model" or “Version".
Now lets see what the differences are between these variants.
The Panzer 3 "Ausf" "A" has five massive road wheels with coil spring suspension and two track return rollers on each side.
The Panzer 3 'Ausf' 'B' has eight smaller road wheels with leaf spring suspension in two groups and three track return rollers on each side.
Each side of the Panzer 3 'Ausf' 'C' and 'D' has eight road wheels with three groups of leaf spring suspension and three track return rollers.
The leaf spring suspension design differed between the 'Ausf' 'C' and 'Ausf' 'D'.
The 'Ausf' 'E' was the first mass-produced Panzer 3 tank, and it was remarkably identical to the 'Ausf' 'F' and 'Ausf' 'G', which differed only in minor details. Previous versions were used to test various suspension systems and other features. Torsion bar suspension with six road wheels on independent swing axles was used on the Panzer 3 'Ausf' 'E'. Above the road wheels were three track return rollers.
The bottom line is all 'E, F and G' model have the same wheel base.
And that is how you spot the differences between the mentioned variants.

This is the most comprehensive identification guide I've seen for a tank, I hope you'll do the other panzers and other tanks that have a lot of variants like the T-54/55 and the T-72

In german we say Panzer 3 A, the "Ausf." is just for the papers.
KwK stands for Kampfwagenkanone (Vighting vehicle cannon) not just for fighting vehicle.

brilliant 3D representation by far . . . modern battle tanks could actually do with coil spring suspension & heavy duty shock absorbers, that'll complement the existing torsion bar setup . . . the ride height can be raised by replacing existing springs with longer (taller) coil springs & slightly longer (taller) & beefier torsion bar with re-calibrated rebound effect . . . for superior mobility over terrain . . . the forward hull section of the Panzer III AusfH - AusfN variants could have done with a angled sloping (slanted) hull . . . especially the heightened forward upright base of the turret, housing 7.62 X 90 MM co-axial gun & driver's look out porthole . . . all Panzer 3 AusfF - AusfN variants could have done with a tad more ground clearance by re-calibrating the leaf spring suspension . . .

Aus rhymes with House. Stress on FÜHR (somewhere between "fur" and "fear") + ung sounds more like "oong".

The Germans should rename the Panzer 3 (especially the long barrel ones) after a Big Cat (since many of the later WW2 & modern German Tanks were named after a Big Cat). My proposed "Big Cat" name for the German Panzer 3 (especially the ones with the long barrel) would be the "Cougar Tank".

German Panzers in terms of cannons always used small cannons, even the Tiger tank, which was a heavy tank, only used an 8.8cm cannon
