14:03 bullet bills can only occupy the first 3 enemy slots out of the 5 total. So with 3 loaded enemies, depending on what slot they are loaded in, sometimes no bullets will ever fire and sometimes you can still get 1 or 2 bullets on screen at a time
I like the plot of Kosmic going through many frustrating hacks, some of them looking good, but not fulfilling their full potential on for this moment where someone who enjoys the series ended up making the well designed hack Kosmic deserved to play.

Chapter 420, Paragraph 69 of the Speedrunning Guide for Dummies indicates that you are allowed to stack empty water bottles and energy drink cans, plus pizza boxes, Ramen, Dorito and Hotpocket wrappers for the purpose of climbing up and eliminating any potential insect spawning points before any fruit flies and/or cockroaches achieve legendary status. In addition, as long as your Bad Hygiene stat is not maxed out, you're allowed to equip one full set of Sweaty Dirt Armor (+2 Bad Hygiene, cumulative) per week. Once your Bad Hygiene stat is capped, however, you will begin emitting a Noxious Aura and losing 2 HP per hour. The Noxious Aura automatically inflicts 5 points of putrid AOE damage to anybody within the afflicted area, as well as 3 points per day of gag-inducing DoT damage to any allies or group members within the dwelling you currently occupy. _Note: Unfortunately, the only known ways to dispel the Noxious Aura is by speedrunning a shower, or dying._
I love how unique he made the hack given the limited tools he had, like speedrun levels, escort mushroom levels, star levels, castle backgrounds and castle and underground levels which make them feel like they're outside!
It's only a matter of time before a troll rom hack has peach tell you she's in another castle, have you walk away, then she realizes she forgot to put the Bowser costume so she doesn't get why Mario didn't notice it was weird.

I don't know the first thing about the creation process so I have no idea if that's something you can throw together in a few minutes, or if that's several hours worth of work... but it was quite enjoyable to watch, so thank you. im not done with the video yet but just the first five minutes of this makes me really wish i knew how to make smb1 hacks ive tried searching in the past but i suck at finding stuff i search for, and im not even sure if i have an smb1 rom
Lis it just me or is this some of the most attractive level design in a mario game? Like what if this was SMB? It's hard to imagine mario being being any more successful than it already is, but hacks like this make me wonder about about what could have been.
We should stage original 'Super Mario Brothers' competitions. Programmers could make custom levels of varying difficulty. Competitors would have no prior knowledge of the levels.

One thing I feel was missing from this Romhack: Power-ups at the Bowser fight, so Kosmic can have 'Small Fire'
that's what the final skip was for in my eyes, albeit only in spirit since the game ends right there
