I also made a whole bunch of sequels to that drawing project (even more than Someone's World), so you're definitely right about that. It's probably because when you're younger, you have a lot more motivation and don't really care about the quality of the stuff you make - you just have fun doing it. As for the speedrun, I'll likely do it in 2014. (Honestly though, speedrunning old Scratch games could be fun, but probably with slightly newer games rather than these ones if I ever do it.)

The most complex part of it is that it has working world stuff that moves I'm not even able to think of a way to make it non glitchy

Why are you playing them in scratch 2.0? You could just open them in scratch 3.0, which may run better, or worse.
Because moving to Scratch 3.0 can sometimes break things during the conversion of the .sb2 format to the .sb3
