    60 hz is a travesty. it's this kind of mindset that makes apple not upgrade this phone because they can get away with it as reviewers are trained to say, it looks great even when it doesn't. I have an iPad air 2019 with 60hz and immediately sold it because of that.

    First of all, I love your videos because you show phones in this case, in real life situations, like for example attached to a bike during a trip, taking pics etc and not just empty words, describing what the brand said in the presentation. Keep up the good work Brother.
    Second, I currently use S23 (8/256) and I was tempted to sell it and try an iPhone, never had one. But from your video I think there's completely no point for me in doing so, am I right? S23 is still a great phone, and will be for few next years. Size - great, pics - great (in most cases), performance - great, customization - super great. I was tempted to try iOS but I'm afraid I'd be disapointed. What are your thoughts? I'm using my phone separately, what I mean is I'm not building any kind of ecosystem. I have Watch 5 Pro and iPad Air but don't plan on joining them toghether in any way. What do you think?
    Cheers and greetings from Poland

      1/ He was using mainly video recording so that will never use 120Hz so they effectively both ran at max 60Hz and if he was recording at 30FPS then the S24 would save battery by using adaptive 30Hz.
      2/ iOS 18 is not efficient at the moment. iOS 18.1 improves battery life significantly. That comes in 3-4 weeks.
      3/ Camera usage is pretty much equal on battery life on any phone; it is a poor test of battery life. If you were gaming then the iPhone would have significantly better battery life at the same settings even if both ran at 60Hz.

      if you value refresh rate so much go for a cheap android or buy an pro iPhone from 13 pro onwards for cheaper than 16. But if you value smoothness so much you have to have higher end hardware anyways. I doubt that a 300 Dollar phone feels smoother in the UI than a 60Hz iPhone in day to day use. It's all about animations and optimisations and I can tell you a 60Hz iPhone has never felt laggy in any way to me. And I typically use a 144 gaming Monitor.

    Pretty good video but I feel it's "a bit" biased towards the Samsung.
    The performance of the iPhone 16 is DEFINITELY better. You just tried the -probably- ONLY benchmark where the Exynos comes on top of the A18 chip. And Antuntu is not comparable Android vs iOS anyways. You could've tried more benchmarks that test different things or real-world performance like lightroom photo editing, editing video, etc.

    • @maxi_G25
      @maxi_G25 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      Who has ever confirmed that android is better optimised for older phones? The only thing that I know is that apple has a good reputation in support and longevity. Samsung might promise updates for a long time but there is no proof they will. Apple has proven in already. 60->120Hz was a change in 2020 to most top tier android phones but it is not much more than a number to justify higher prices. You can't tell me it is necessary to put 120 Hz + in a 6'' phone. Most people don't have 90 Hz + panels in there 24'' + Monitors. And calling Samsung features necessary is good joke. Some might seem useful but look back at there history and count how many features have been removed due to uselessness.
