Samsung on everyt thinkable aspect. Iphone are antiquated and very limited in usability, productivity, innovation, personalization options. Apple has lost the smartphone war. That's why the came up with their VR device which will be a disaster.
Buy what suits you the best. for me it was the S24 Ultra, after using it for almost 2 weeks now I do not regret sticking with Samsung. Apple for me doesn't have enough to bring me over. It's the small QoL features Samsung bring to the table that win me over every time.
My note20U developed green lines on the screen 1 day, been using since launch. So i yanked it for a the overtrade bonus samsung gives, got the 1TB version for ~820 quid inclusive of the extended samsung care+, in Asia though. The screen is SO much better, just putting the 2 side by side.
@@robhughes8516 We don't care, bro. The only thing that iPhone sells is its ability to upload photo/video to social media without their quality being compressed. Other than that, ANDROID clears this garbage phone.
Hi@@robhughes8516 I am not sure that sales alone dictate which is "better" than another. Will you suggest to me that the Toyota Corolla is a "better" car than say, a 911 or Bugatti Chiron or Ferrari 296 GTB because it is the best seller? All products have their own merits but total sales do not indicate which is the objective "best".
I’m looking to buy a new phone and was wondering about this as well! I love the screentime limit feature samsung has. Do iPhones not have any of those too?
But it still needs a screen protector. Even with JerryRigEverythings scratch test, micro scratches will wreck it over time and devalue it even more. Still use a screen protector.
The issue for me, is I never use a phone without a screen protector. As soon as you add one, the anti reflective properties are gone. You can get anti reflective screen protectors, but you can get them for both phones. So it means if you are going to put a screen protector on it, then this feature doesn’t really matter.
@@Techfanatic73I am carful with my phones i do not use screen protectors I do not scratch my screens. I upgrade every year and turn in flawless devices.
I hate the Apple ecosystem and upselling stuff with a passion. Android all the way and Samsung arguably has the best Android experience. After my S21 Ultra broke a week ago, getting the S24 Ultra was a no-brainer.
Big things for Samsung s24 Ultra: 1. New Less reflective display. 2. You can get games from 3rd party sites. 3. Cool circle to search feature. 4. Good 100x zoom. 5. Instant slow Mo at 120fps. 6. Cool AI features to fill in gaps in photos. 7. Can switch between lenses at 4k60fps now. 8. Has an S-pen 9. Slimmest bezels 10. New flat display 11. Gets brighter. Iphone 15 pro Max: 1. Overall video is just better Stabilisation better 2. Depth perception with Lidar sensor is much better. 3. Can support video taken in dolby vision and hdr. 4. Hand feeling should be much better. 5. Will get 3rd party installs soon. 6. Already has some higher console level games. My opinion: Screen on S24 Ultra is better Iphone for Video Samsung if you want to be able to slow mo it after taking a video. If you want 8k30 video get Samsung, but is it really that useful?????? Honestly they are both Exceptional. If you need to take videos, go with Iphone and you will be happy.
Great video! Currently prefer the S24 Ultra as I can do a lot more on it, but I agree with you on video quality. I think quick clip in 4K 30 or 4K 60 is bit of a toss up between the two, but that ProRes and LOG do make a big difference for creatives. 120FPS on the S24U is insanely good though!
@@Destroyer_13Samsung note is within Samsung eco system if I rmb right u can export it to other format, other app I use often is OneNote which work across all system ..
Especially when you don’t have an ecosystem lol. Like I technically have a PC so that’s in an ecosystem with Samsung kinda but I also have an iPad too. I don’t like having all of the tech of one single company. I like the diversity and if one company goes to shit I’m not suddenly dependent on bad products. In general though I just try and go for the best products that are worth the price, so I’m gonna go for the Samsung. If I were completely in Apple’s ecosystem maybe not, but I certainly don’t have to be completely in Samsung’s ecosystem to enjoy their phones.
Personally, I chose to go with Apple because of their native music store (iTunes). You can’t buy music on an android without going with a 3rd party app.
every year it gets harder to compare the absolute top of the line flagship phone from both sides and it really has come down to whichever ecosystem you're already in/plan to get into for me i've had samsung phones for the last 10 years and i haven't had any issues with them or android at all i'm used to the freedom it gives (like sideloading apps) and investing in an iphone at this point would cost a lot more than just the phone since im getting into a whole new ecosystem and i'm giving up features in android that still aren't in iOS so the logical upgrade from the S20FE for me was the S24 Ultra
@@GH0STST4RSCR34M that is merely an auto exposure issue that can easily be corrected on the Samsung on-the-fly by taping on an overexposed area and adjusting the AEL down a little. Hopefully Samsung will tweak the default exposure mode down a little in future updates.
I believe this might be the final comparison video I'll ever view. They consistently conclude with the same statement: "It all comes down to the ecosystem."
I have an iphone 15 pro max and the S23 Ultra, my ecosystem it is MAC, but I can´t denied that S23 Ultra is more fun, less boring than IOS. But If I have ti choose one, I´ll pick 15 pro max
This question has the same answer no matter what you compare: Buy whatever you like. Buy whatever fits better your needs, but most importantly, buy whatever makes you happy.
I am so torn between the two. I have been using the iPhone since the 6/6 Plus was released. Last android was the Note 5. I want to get back into Android for a fresh new experience, but I am well within the Apple EcoSystem. I even just got a new M3 MacBook Pro, although I have another 45 days to return it if needed. And with the release of the S24 Ultra, I am wanting to make the switch even more. It's an absolutely beautiful phone. My dilemma is everyone I talk to daily, has an iPhone. So iMessage, FaceTime, FindMy, etc. is all things I would be giving up. I also have the Apple Watch Ultra, AirPods, Apple TV, and Apple Card. The watch and stuff can be replaced, and I can still use the Apple TV because honestly it's one of the best options, but having to use the web for the Apple Card and email is going to be weird. I ordered the 1 TB Violet S24 Ultra, and it arrives tomorrow, so we will see how that goes and whether I will be making the switch. I'm extremely nervous about losing iMessage, but I know RCS is right around the corner for iPhone. Anyone else recently switch and go through sort of the same thing? What was your experience? Do you miss the iPhone at all?
@_h0nzaaa I sent the first one back because I couldn't get the fingerprint to work. Just got the 1 TB blue today and starting from scratch on all apps is a bit of a task. Too early to tell, but already missing the iPhone a little, probably because of the simplicity. I'll rock this for a few days and report back.
@@bourbon.36 thanks a lot, I will stay tuned for your next report. I myself want to buy either the 15 pro or s24U. I've never used an iPhone, I like the simplicity and I want to try the whole ecosystem.
@@_h0nzaaa Well, looks like I will be sticking with the iPhone. The Galaxy S24U is a beast of a phone, but me being in the Apple EcoSystem and being on the iPhone for as long as I have been, it's just hard to switch. I have messed with the phone for 2 days now, and it's just completely different than what I am used to. Can you do way more on the S24U as far as options and customizations, yes. But will I use all of those or need them, no. The iPhone just seems more simplistic and I am more comfortable with it. All I really do is scroll through social media anyways, so I don't see the need to completely change my setup. I really wanted to like the phone though because I love the big beautiful square design.

My last iPhone was a 12 pro max. Great phone but having been on Samsung since S23 Ultra and now S24 Ultra I can't think of anything that would tempt me back to Apple.
I don't believe the anti reflective screen is making the colors less vivid on the s24U. It's the vivid mode toggle and rgb sliders that are broken. The s24 and s24+ exhibit the same behavior, yet they don't have the anti reflective screen that the ultra has.
I been a Samsung fan for ever until I swaped to the iPhone 14 Pro Max and I’m not going back after I used iMessage and icloud, Samsung just can’t beat that and the speakers on iPhone sound amazing compared to Samsung and love the camera on iPhone, probably never go back to android.
It is a BIG mistake that you choose iPhone over Samsung.....Overall, Samsung s24 ULTRA is way more better than iPhone when it comes to Battery life, Features, Camera and Storage and Design.......Samsung wins all the time
@@Taitea_____he's not wrong tho, most of the underrated reviewers prefer the ultra over the pm while some of the bigger tech reviewers are biased towards the iphone and wont actually elaborate on the great usability and performance of the ultra.. great phones either way
i bought the 15 pro max cos i thought it would be a good time to swithc from a long time android to iphone and ive never had an iphone before but i have used an ipad so im used to ios a bit. But i can tell from all my experiences of android, ios feels so much smoother in its animations and even tho they are both 120hz i never regret buying the iphone, its such a great phone.
Im hesitating i have enough to buy iphone 15 pro max or the s24 ultra but im scared bc i dont wanna be stuck in a bubble also the free apks on google that u can download on androids that do so much free things... I wanna ask if it was hard to leave that behind
I had Iphone 15 pro max, a great great phone, good photos, video camera and software, good screen and sound, i love it but.......... i sold the iPhone , the software is great but a bit boring for me , thats why i bought the S24 ultra, you can do more + long screenshots also better, you can do it everywhere and thx to one hand operation+ app you can take most easy screenshot ever. If I had enough money I would keep both. But now i prefer the S24 ultra.
I agree, I’m on my first iPhone, iphone 15 pro max. I came from the S23U. Watching these videos makes me miss my S23U. It just feels like it was way more intuitive and laid out in a more sensible way. Like the camera timer on the iPhone for example, I have to click on two different options then scroll, just to get to it. Just a bunch of little things like that added up.
The biggest deciding factor for me at least is you can use the s24 ultra as a computer replacement with Dex. With the iPhone you still need a basic level Mac so it in essence is like $400~$500 more expensive. I can plop my monitor's USB-C cable in, which has a keyboard and mouse dongle, and an external 8tb hard drive and get tasks done on it that used to be relegated to laptops and desktops. With Android being more of a traditional OS under the hood makes it worth way more to me. I use it all the time for answering emails, some 3d cad work, slicing files for 3d printing, etc. I spent a year on Apple and despite everything being what it is, pales in comparison to having one device to rule your day to day. I will be getting the s24 ultra and replacing my iPhone 14+ very very soon.
No idea why camera comparisons take up the most part of the video since all modern smartphone cameras are great. I’m more interested in the day-to-day real world use.
I got S24 Ultra. I love it. Brighter screen, Almost twice as fast charging, Galaxy Al, 8K Video recording, & 7 years OS support, Anti-Reflective screen, S24U is much better to view in sun.

As someone who uses both a galaxy (for personal) and iPhone (for work) everyday get the S24. It has a better screen, is more powerful, has a better battery, way better software, better cameras, more customizable, more durable and cheaper with the discounts directly from Samsung or your carrier.
Both use Samsung-made displays, so they are equal, although the S24U gets first dibs on 2024 display tech as they released earlier. The CPU single-core is 30% faster on the iPhone, and real-life gaming tests suggest better FPS on the iPhone. Battery life tests from non-biased reviewers show they are very close in battery life, with the iPhone winning more times than losing. There are definitely more customizations on a Samsung phone, but to many of us over 40, they are moot. Software is subjective, as I prefer iOS and the ecosystem, which connects seamlessly with my other devices. Camera reviews suggest the iPhone wins at the moment, but awaiting a camera update for the S24U. The S24U is more expensive in the UK for the 256GB model. But the S24U is cheaper with discounts on pre-orders (now passed). Durability is similar, but it is more about how lucky you are. Most of us use a case and screen protector as £1200 is a lot of money. I also have both.
I use to have an iPhone and iPad for school years ago. I switched to Android and was like holy shit I can change this, do that. Double tap the screen to turn on, always on display etc. Just so many features. Apple just keeps getting closer and closer to being an android. The one thing I can't stand is apples operating system. It is so difficult to use and many steps are added to do simple tasks. For one. The keyboard is horrible. Why do you have the same keyboard on a 15 PM as you do on the iPhone 5??? No numbers, no symbols on the same page? Seamless for android. Settings built into apps, also makes things so much easier. A back button, so easy to use.... I could go on. I want to like apple, but man they just don't ever do anything to improve their phones or add features etc. Takes 2 hours to charge the 15 PM. I can charge my s24u in an hour. Android/Samsung have an ecosystem and it's pretty good. I don't get why people don't talk about it.
Bruh what? 1) it’s NOT more powerful, 2) it doesn’t have better cameras, they’re both great but the iPhone is better in low light and that’s really the only difference, 3) software is totally subjective and Android is not “better” objectively, 4) it’s not more durable, watch PhoneBuff’s video on the durablility - the S24 Ultra was the first to break to the point of being nearly unusable, while the iPhone was fine; then it managed to hold out and the iPhone finally totaled itself while the Samsung screen could still light up so it was virtually a draw, 5) watch PhoneBuff’s battery test, battery lasted two minutes longer on iPhone so it was virtually a draw, 6) cheaper discounts only if you’re talking about directly from Samsung, Apple has equally if not better carrier deals. Only thing there you got right is Android still being more customizable. But at that point, iOS is also more secure. It just is. In any case, likely a moot point in two years as they’re growing more and more like each other and copying the good about each other.
@@Epicgamer_Mac I have used both and by far android is easier to use. I hear many people sit there and say ios is easier, but I just can't agree. There's many things, and features that android OS has that reduce the number of steps you need to do to access things, change things etc. I have many gripes about the iPhone, like why is the keyboard so crappy? My android has numbers, letters and symbols all on one page, I don't need to flip through numerous pages to use a number or a question mark. Fingerprint sensor is way more convenient than face ID. You don't have a fast charger, no back button, no side panel, less convenient drop down menu, terrible placement of the action button....it's just awful imo.... Now, after having said all of that. I don't actually hate the iphone, I hate apple. Apple is iphones choke point. It could be so much more, but apple is just dumb for some reason. Yes, I agree with your points about video is low light etc. It does have better security no doubt. The problem is androids security does the job and myself including others that have android have never had security issues. I'm sure there are. But I have never known anyone to have those issues. Sure maybe it's more durable. But both aren't durable at all. I don't wanna drop my iphone and break the screen or damage the metal, regardless. Durability is never a major enough point to go with a certain phone. Most people use cases etc anyways. Overall I hate ios operating system, they just make shit difficult and no apple user ever complains about the phone so guys never get any new features for years. There's virtually no difference between an iPhone 12 and an iPhone 15. There's a huge difference between my s21u and my s24u. Samsung is always on it. We got crazy good anti reflective screen that no one asked for and it should have been on phones a long time ago. It's things like this that apple will never do.
Apple fanboy trying to manipulate reality 😂, facts will always be facts Don't try so hard to convince. I came in peace bro, Don't get so emotional. . @andyH_England
I love your reviews. I will write my experience because I used both for a few days. I find s24u more interesting to use, many customizations and functions in all segments. 15pm boring in my opinion but it has everything you need and what it has works flawlessly and if I had to choose one, I would still keep the iphone, partly because of the ecosystem because all the other things I have (airpods pro2, apple watch 7, macbook air) work much better than Samsung's (Apple Watch works more fluidly than Galaxy Watch, AirPods also than Samsung's), but that's just my opinion and my experience. As a phone, I'm always looking for a reason to switch to a Samsung because it's much more interesting to me, but I always stay with the iPhone.
About fast charging, yes it is convienient, but very hard on your battery. I have a iPhone 11, bought in mid 2020, still with 85% battery capacity, used hard every day. I just charge mine with a cable overnight, using 5W!
I'm currently using a S24U after 2 years on a 13 Pro Max. One tiny little thing which I really love on the S24U is the fact that you can switch between rear and front camera while recording a video, something you cannot do on any iPhone. The battery life is fenomenal, and the sharp corners of the screen I really love. Everything is great on both phones and personal taste will be the deciding factor when you choose one. BUT eveything aside, video recording wise, the quality of the videos to be more precise, the iPhone is in a different league, no matter what people might think. The moment you throw a little low light at the Android phone, you'll start to see a jittery mess when the stabilization tries do its thing. Yes, there's some on the iPhone too but it's so much better controlled and almost unnoticeable. Android is still a few years behing in that regard. Even my 13 Pro Max performs much better and the video looks much smoother and without jitters in low light. So if you love to record videos in the evening or at night maybe when you go out, and you want them to look good, get an iPhone. Just a thing to keep in mind

I have the Galaxy S24 Ultra and I like it. I've been hesitating to get the iPhone 15 series because of the lack of a physical SIM tray, I think Apple should give the option to choose in the USA for E-Sim or Physical SIM since they already sell them outside of the USA, I won't mind paying extra for it, if I had that choice . I will keep my iPhone 13 until I decide to import an iPhone that is worth the price for that. My Galaxy S24 Ultra, Pixel 8 Pro, OnePlus open and are still better choices to use the physical SIM tray without adding a new line to use the iPhone with E-Sim only.
I don't really care who has the best camera or is the fastest phone in benchmarks. Every flagship smartphone takes super pictures and video's and is blazing fast. 97% of all smartphone users don't even see the differences. I'm a SMARTPHONE user so I want the best screen (dpi/brightness/anti-glare), best battery, best/most usablility and productivity options, best gaming- and multi-media experience, best personalization options and best innovation. I want DEX, KNOX, S-PEN, call recording, multi-tasking, multi-window, fingerprint scanner, best screen, widgets, themes, integration with windows, the biggest eco-system (Samsung SmartThings), fast charging, fast wireless charging and I want AI. On all these aspects the S24 Ultra is destroying the iphone 15 PM big time. So why keep people buying these antiquated, restricted and very very limited iphones?
@@hankmiller990 I totally agree with everything you said, except 'best screen'. There's overwhelmingly high number reports of screen having burn in issues on Samsung (s23 and older) subs reddit. Of course burn-in can happen to any OLED including the iPhones, but there's certainly more reports of it happening on the 2-3 year old Samsungs despite iPhones having a dominant market share in the US at least. This is unacceptable considering the very screen on iPhones are supplied by Samsung itself and it makes me question the QC of Samsung phones and the lack of software trickery to prevent burn-in.
@@hankmiller990people keep buying iPhone because many people don’t care about customizing every single aspect of their phone. They don’t care about the numbers on paper. You can have the most powerful phone on paper but those numbers don’t matter if you can’t experience that performance. The s24 ultra is a more powerful phone on paper but the iPhone still surpasses it in performance. S24 ultra was supposed to have better gaming performance than iPhone on paper but in practice, the iPhone is faster. It’s no longer a race to how powerful a phone you can pack in, it’s optimization and the technology the specs are based on. AMOLED 2x with 510ppi with higher resolution than iPhone on the Samsung on paper is the better display. However, in my experience, I prefer the iPhones display. The s24 ultra is the brighter phone, but the quality of the iPhones display is better. It’s more color accurate, and when I’m watching a movie, that’s what matters most. I love vivid Samsung screens, but there’s a point to where vividness sacrifices the detail of the photo, video or movie you’re watching. iPhone isn’t as vivid but it has greater detail than the s24 ultra. Apple doesn’t aim to fill a set number; that’s why their resolution and ppi look odd; like it’s not a standardized number. S24 ultra and iPhone 15 pro both have their ups and downs when it comes to display, but the Super Retina XDR display technology helps the iPhone 15 pro defeat the s24 ultra display in detail. This is also because Apple designs their own displays, creating their own display technology that the phone is based on. Samsung designs their own displays as well and even manufactures them, but their display technology is AMOLED 2X, a display technology that doesn’t fully optimize the specs s24 ultra has. Samsung used to have the best displays, but in 2022 Apple overtook Samsung as the best display and has kept that lead ever since. A deal breaker for me is if the phone I bought is the best display possible. Many reviewers say the s24 ultra has the best display because of how vivid and bright the display is, but I tend to pay more attention to detail in the video, movie, photo than how vivid it is. Vividness is absolutely needed but Samsung pushes it to far to the point that it sacrifices the quality and detail of the image. I’m not going to lie, s24 ultra tempted me with their AI tricks. I almost ordered one of those phones. However, I can’t settle for having an inferior display. Absolutely love how many features and things you can do on the Samsung, wish Apple did that. But for me, I’m in a minority when I say this, but the iPhone 15 pro is a better option for me. I don’t care about cameras either; I only took 5 photos last year and 0 this year. I don’t care about customizing my phone to the earths end; I have a little bit of OCD, so everything has to be perfect so I tend to like default settings more with no moving things around involved as I worry about one of the objects being off center and not perfectly aligned. I want the features my phone does have to be applicable to my life. I love having the latest tech but there is no point in having a billion different things my phone can do if I can’t apply that feature into my own life. It’s like having a jet but you’re not able to fly it. Call recording is awesome, but it is illegal in my state so I wouldn’t be able to use it anyways. For people who want Samsung DEX, call recording, personalize every aspect of their smartphone, Samsung is the way to go. For people who want a detailed display with extra fuctionality (Dynamic Island) , people who value quality of features over quantity of features, call quality, better communication between friends, family members and strangers, then iPhone would be the better pick. Sorry for this rant but there are people who buy iPhones for logical reasons
7:36 Looks like Apple has sorted the thermal stability. It drops after the first run and then is steady after that. Also only dropped 5% battery whereas the S24 Ultra dropped 11% so arguably the iPhone is still the better gaming device. The S24 Ultra is still impressive though.
All the reviewers starts with the questions such as which is better which one to buy etc and ends the videos with you can’t go wrong with either of these..!! What’s the point then 😄
It's the truth; each has pros and cons, and buy what works best for you even if the other may be better at certain stuff. It is a mature market after 17 years, and those wanting to justify their purchase by claiming their phone is the best are just flexing. Most phones are A+ now and people choose what they want and be happy.

Great video but I have some gripes. The choice of picking a phone is not just about the Samsung ecosystem and the Apple ecosystem. I dislike that people keep bringing it down to that factor. Compatability with products is one big factor, and one big reason I won't switch over to Apple. Apple genuinely tries to dilute the experience with every product that is NOT Apple. I can't use Sony or any other headphones without downgrading my codec to AAC. It HAS to be their product if I want the best headphone experience. Want the best tablet experience? You have to go with Apple. Best laptop experience? Apple. There is NO SUPPORT FOR ANYTHING ELSE. It's also much harder to integrate the iPhone into your own "custom" ecosystem if you use a mix of android, Linux-based OSes, and Windows computers/devices. Apple's philosophical approach is that they do everything. I don't like that. They make great products, but I don't want EVERY SINGLE THING from Apple. Other companies make better products suited for certain tasks, and they just don't foster enough compatibility with others. At least with Samsung devices (and other android devices), I'm not forced into their ecosystem by lack of support for compatability. I can buy an S9 Tab Ultra that will integrate with the phone but also a Windows laptop and still get a good experience. If I want some high-end headphones, I can get high-resolution audio with aptX or LDAC codecs. Not to mention, Samsung has an ecosystem of home appliances and works nicely with Google's ecosystem as well since they have been collaborating more recently. Compatability matters too and we need to hold Apple accountable for also making the experience great for non-Apple products. I can't believe that reviewers never talk about this aspect of buying a phone. It's like they have forgotten not everyone likes to buy products solely from one company.
Yeah i agree. Compatibility is supposed to increase the value of products. Back in the days people sough after the devices that gave you multiple options, highest levels of compatibility, but now we live in a generation of sheeps and zombies that can be controlled by Umbrella Corporation (Apple). 😂
Iphone needs better charging speed, less reflective screen and maybe a fingerprint scanner. On software side it needs side loading apps, better dialer(with T9 dialing),split screen, camera app needs pause button and more customisation...
I have both at the moment as well. Have to say I initially thought the iPhone would be the better entertainment device and Sammy would make for a better productivity workhorse - it’s actually the other way around. Prefer Sam’s screen for movies and shows. Support for LDAC makes streaming music a little better. Still prefer the iPhone for work. Attachments open more reliably on the iPhone, it’s hard to beat Apple Notes, the AirPods win on calls, and AirDrop still has my ❤. Jury’s still out. Giving myself until the end of the month to give one of them up.
Samsung notes is the one that's hard to beat especially now with the ai features. I have never had issues opening attachments on my galaxy s series device's. The s pen is a wonderful feature for productivity at work.
@JamesThomas-dn6ee plus samsung not only has the synced notes for your samsung account, but they have shared notes between devices as well. It allows you to get real-time changes on your side of notes no matter which method you use.
I stand by with Android/Samsung all the way cause their ecosystem is more friendly than apple's ecosystem, besides i joined the Samsung Galaxy range this year after I purchased 2 of their previous Galaxy watches, i got the 40mm galaxy watch 4 and the 46mm galaxy watch 4 classic both in black plus I got the last year's model of the Galaxy S23 ULTRA as my first Samsung Galaxy smartphone. the S24 ULTRA stands out well with it's style and quality but for me I'm not interested in the S24 ULTRA if anything I'm going to wait for the S25 ULTRA In 2025.
Have you encountered this "green line" down the middle of the S24 Ultra that lots have been reporting? have seen lots about it on Reddit recently, great video as usual!
Amazing how he can hold and manipulate those two phones, sometimes both at the same time, without constantly dropping them. They are designed to slip out of your hands and break.
Of course they are. The last thing a cellphone company wants to design is a phone that last for years. Planned obsolescence. It's also the reason they stopped making the batteries user replaceable. You seriously believe that billion dollar companies could not make their phones less slippery than a bar of soak in a shower if they wanted to? The first thing any intelligent cell phone owner does with their $1000 cellphone is buy a $20 dollar case to protect it and to make it less slippery.
Stay with iPhone, better build quality and apps can’t track you everywhere on your phone and collect all your personal data. Android tracks you 500 times per day or more.
I agree with you. The dynamic island sucks. Plus, all Android users have to do is install an app that actually works better and with more things than the Apple...
The Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are also compelling. They are flagship level phones with many great unique features, but significantly less expensive than Apple/Samsung. They will get software updates until 2030, which is amazing!
They are great but nowhere near flagship. They do have the best Android software experience you can get no questions asked but they still have Android problems. Prices are also not where they should be, nobody would buy a device at that level when it's not universally supported and you lose half your phone features if you happen to travel.
My Daily Drivers are an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Pixel 8 Pro. I prefer iOS over Android. I think samsung, google, and Apple need to adopt 1 inch camera sensors in their phones. The pics from that vivo x100 pro are insane. But I think the pixel has the best image processing.
Apparently the vivid setting don't work at the moment and Samsung said it would be fixed in an update so you won't be giving up anything with a better anti reflective screen.
That point about iphone holding up it's value, applies to Samsung too starting from the s24 series because they will be supported with 7 years of OS updates just like the iphone.
They are both great phones. If you primarily use a macbook then its best to use iphone. Android phones are for people are arent boring and like trying new things.
Just purchased the 15 pro max, after 12 years of using Samsung. I was really tired of Android and just wanted something different. There's definitely a learning curve, as I accidentally activated the emergency call " feature" 😬 when I first hit the zoom button ( I wanted to see what it was) the screen became so huge that it was impossible to discern what I was looking at. kept trying to turn off the phone, thinking that might reset it. Of course it wouldn't turn off and instead routed me directly to the emergency call option, which in my wild panic, I thought was an "off" slider. Good times. I do love the sound quality though and the ability to easily access all the Apple music I purchased over the years. So there's that.
Hello bro. Im thinking to buy 15bpro or promax. Can u share me ur experience. About battery, what you experianced when you changer from android to ios.

iPhone 15 pro max 1TB because overall optimization and privacy features to stop app data mining. I switched from the Samsung S22 Ultra and don’t regret it. I won’t be going back to Samsung because in my experience the software was always glitching and freezing even with the latest updates and restarting the phone everyday, also I’ve experienced significant eye strain and dryness with low brightness and extra dim still but not at all with my new iPhone.
What a tough decision. I have been Apple since the iPhone 4 but my s24 ultra arrives tomorrow. Looking at this I still prefer iPhones photos/videos however and now they’ve add the upgraded features with changing focal point really has me second guessing
Using a S21U which is great. However I really love the camera of the iphones. I also use samsung tab s6 so the switch is not really justified. I feel the camera on Samsung is a compromise. Is it worth the upgrade to s24u or 23u from s21u or there isnt much difference in the cameras? Would love to get yoyr opinions
I ended up buying the s24 ultra. I had a 12 pro max. Ive never had android before besides a $60 android tablet back in 2012 lol i still got my iphone amd got the whole apple ecosytem but now i got both apple amd android. I love this phone honestly
I don't really care who has the best camera or is the fastest phone in benchmarks. Every flagship smartphone takes super pictures and video's and is blazing fast. 97% of all smartphone users don't even see /notice the differences. I'm a SMARTPHONE user so I want the best screen (dpi/brightness/anti-glare), best battery, best/most usability and productivity options, best gaming- and multi-media experience, best personalization options and best innovation. I want DEX, KNOX, S-PEN, call recording, multi-tasking, multi-window, fingerprint scanner, best screen, widgets, themes, integration with windows, the biggest eco-system (Samsung SmartThings), fast charging, fast wireless charging and I want Artificial Intelligence innovation. On all these aspects the S24 Ultra is destroying the iphone 15 PM big time. So why keep people buying these antiquated, restricted and very very limited iphones?
how about concert video where you need the zoom as well? Would u still choose the iphone max? and is it worth gettting the 15 now that the 16 is so close?
Hey Chaps! Apple or Samsung (or neither)??
Neither, OnePlus 12 or Honor Magic 6 Pro
I think when it comes to data privacy, no android can beat apple. And for me that is of utmost importance in todays times.

Sales records still, as usual, dictate that Apple is still king.
The anti-reflective screen on the S24U is amazing. It is so apparent every time the two phones are held next to each other.
Only beggars with no money use screen protectors. It's stupid to buy an S24U when you can't afford it. If the screen breaks, just fix it.😊
@@user-il2lx6wv4hLol. Only a fool wouldn't spend 8 bucks to protect a 1300 dollar phone. Just makes all the sense in the world.

Nonsense. Samsung wants to be Apple. Desperately. It's pathetic. And I like the S24U and am typing this from it. In Dex.
I hate the Apple ecosystem and upselling stuff with a passion. Android all the way and Samsung arguably has the best Android experience. After my S21 Ultra broke a week ago, getting the S24 Ultra was a no-brainer.

Big things for Samsung s24 Ultra:
8. Has an S-pen
9. Slimmest bezels
10. New flat display
11. Gets brighter.
Iphone 15 pro Max:
1. Overall video is just better
Stabilisation better
2. Depth perception with Lidar sensor is much better.
3. Can support video taken in dolby vision and hdr.
4. Hand feeling should be much better.
5. Will get 3rd party installs soon.
6. Already has some higher console level games.
My opinion:

Samsung if you want to be able to slow mo it after taking a video.
If you want 8k30 video get Samsung, but is it really that useful??????
Honestly they are both Exceptional.

whoa seeing those 2 outside and at full brightness, what a massive difference in that new 24U screen. That's a huge quality of life win there.

'Depends on your ecosystem' is a slightly underwhelming conclusion.
True
Its always the same with some of these reviewers, they like to sit on the fence.
Apple fanboys say so when Android is better than iPhone
Personally, I chose to go with Apple because of their native music store (iTunes). You can’t buy music on an android without going with a 3rd party app.
every year it gets harder to compare the absolute top of the line flagship phone from both sides and it really has come down to whichever ecosystem you're already in/plan to get into
for me i've had samsung phones for the last 10 years and i haven't had any issues with them or android at all i'm used to the freedom it gives (like sideloading apps) and investing in an iphone at this point would cost a lot more than just the phone since im getting into a whole new ecosystem and i'm giving up features in android that still aren't in iOS so the logical upgrade from the S20FE for me was the S24 Ultra
This makes the most sense actually.
Samsung doesn't demand an ecosystem membership!
Android = With Android you are the Admin
iOS = With iOS you are the User
In s24U when recording video the mic is awesome. The noise canceling is like a professional mic

@@eastlondonhustler The apple ecosystem is a downside though. Its a walled garden for simpletons.
Only issues I've found with the 24, is that the edges will stab your palms, and you cant set it down flat. Everything else? Quality.

im not sure if anyone noticed that iphone can only post up to 10 photos in facebook market place. but any android phone can post up to 50 in one post.

What did the Galaxy Buds do to you? I thought Buds 2 Pro had IPX7 and AirPods (degraging battery life with spatial audio) IPX4...
The first video without skipping a single part. Good job!
I am a big android guy, but that iPhone video was fantastic.
Got my s24 ultra today! dex, spen, cameras, customization, true multi tasking, modded apks, ecosystem freedom. android all the way!

samsung is working on a firmware update improving display saturation and camera performance.

This review makes me buy both, this phones are the best in the market right now if money is not a problem. The 7 years OS and Galaxy AI are the most impressive upgrade at least for me on Samsung S series. ❤
So you are implying you have money?

i am sticking with apple since 2013 Iphone 5, where i change from blackberry. right now still kicking with my 2019 iphone 11 pro, but for this year i’ll give it a try for samsung s24 ultra. hope it can last much longer than my iphone
S24 hands down
both phones are good in their respective category. that's it!
No one is better than the other.
Yep fair!
Big facts
You're good at your job !! well done.
Camera is definitely better on iPhone
@@andyH_Englandno the truth is Samsung is an overpriced poor man’s iPhone, iPhone is superior with better software, apps, security, privacy and ecosystem.

No😢
If you buy ani-reflective screen protector, it'll keep being anti-reflective. You can find them anywhere online
Long term iphone user here.. When i use S24 ultra just wow samsung is more premium than 15promax screen is just speechless
My S24 U IS BEAST.
I LOVE PLAYING HEAVY LOADED GAMES ON IT ❤ IT SO FLAWLESS AND THE BATTERY BACKUP IS SUPERB..❤
Iphone needs better charging speed, less reflective screen and maybe a fingerprint scanner. On software side it needs side loading apps, better dialer(with T9 dialing),split screen, camera app needs pause button and more customisation...
You're only scratching the surface. Needs a lot more than that. 😂😂😂😂
I think I’m switching back to android , iPhone is just too boring
Samsung ❤
Still using the Note 20 Ultra
Love it :)
i loved mine too ended up giving it to a son. i wish i hadnt!
IMO the benchmarks will never matter on iPhones until the OS allows you to truly multitask
Have you encountered this "green line" down the middle of the S24 Ultra that lots have been reporting? have seen lots about it on Reddit recently, great video as usual!
Believe it or not, a month into owning my 15 pro max I had the “green lines” I took it to Apple and they replaced the screen for free under warranty!
Awesome video! what's the name of the jpystock you're gaming with?
Amazing how he can hold and manipulate those two phones, sometimes both at the same time, without constantly dropping them. They are designed to slip out of your hands and break.
no they are not lol
Of course they are. The last thing a cellphone company wants to design is a phone that last for years. Planned obsolescence. It's also the reason they stopped making the batteries user replaceable. You seriously believe that billion dollar companies could not make their phones less slippery than a bar of soak in a shower if they wanted to? The first thing any intelligent cell phone owner does with their $1000 cellphone is buy a $20 dollar case to protect it and to make it less slippery.
The scrolling smoothness on Instagram on the iPhone is much smoother at 9:50
A revisit of the camera conparisons may be needed after the update on the s24 ultra
I have the 15 pro max for 3 months now
Always been a android guy
Confused now 😢
Should I go for s24 ultra or stick to iPhone
Go to s24. It's really amazing.
Go android, you'll feel better bro....
Why would you want to loose money on your current purchase just for sidegrade? If you have no money issues, then why even ask the question?
Stick with your iPhone.
Stay with iPhone, better build quality and apps can’t track you everywhere on your phone and collect all your personal data. Android tracks you 500 times per day or more.
Samsung galaxy s24 ultra
I might be in the minority, but im not a fan of the look of the Dynamic Island. I liked the look of the notch better
I agree with you. The dynamic island sucks. Plus, all Android users have to do is install an app that actually works better and with more things than the Apple...
the gigantic ass ugly bezel? hell nah
"This video is not sponsored, no fat cheque on my desk" ... Photo with Tim Cook
It would be interesting to see the same compassion with the S24 ultra Vs pixel 8 pro
Oooo I’m switching from Apple to Android soon.. it’s a HUGE step but I’m excited!! I’ve been with Apple for 10+ years

There's definitely a learning curve, as I accidentally activated the emergency call
" feature" 😬 when I first hit the zoom button ( I wanted to see what it was) the screen became so huge that it was impossible to discern what I was looking at. kept trying to turn off the phone, thinking that might reset it. iPhone 15 pro max 1TB because overall optimization and privacy features to stop app data mining.
