I don’t think they know what a macro photo is lol. Your not looking for a full object, your trying to get the surface details of said object. Go down to all the way like less the 10mm away from the subject. THAT’S what macro photography is. And the iPhone’s 5X is only 12MP. The other lenses are 48 MP.
OMG what the heck happened to S24 Ultra? What is with those ugly red tint in almost every photo where the light is a bit tricky. For the first in almost a decade was planning to jump the ship to galaxy, but now in two minds because camera is a very important part for me.
Why dont they deduct points like half a point for very very bad results, this would add more distance between the devices. Like the second round, the Samsung was too bad not acceptable at all Possibly the iPhone in the 1st round
Need a different way to compare. After the first third, instead of best I did a which device. I scored just under 80%. That kind of takes the anon out of it. To be transparent, I own the S24U, Pixel 9 Pro, and 15 ProMax. Skipping the 16 this year.

My brother in Christ what? Megapixels don’t need nothing, it’s just software data. Sensor size and aperture decide how much light gets into the device. Measured usually in f-stops, or T-stops in cine lenses.
The world most professional DSLR cameras doesn’t have a 200mp camera, that got to show you how useless the numbers are, so the 200mp on Samsung are just for marketing for people that has no idea about what a camera is

Doesn't get enough detail in the dress and sun is just flared out. Whitening the face isn't just enough for a good scenic photo.
I was expecting this video, such a disappointment, mostly of the pictures were potrait mode were one of them is particulary not good at it.
