$10K Electronics Upgrade - Marine Tech Vlog#5

Out with the old and in with the new, we gutted the 2004 electronics on the Contender 31 project boat and replaced it with a full Garmin suite of modern Electronics. Not cheap but brings the boat up to a nice modern standard. It was a mad rush to get it all in so we could get out fishing on the weekend.

You should concider upgrading the guagues to a YAM6YC (assuming its a Yam engine) Nema them in as long as your motors arent super old should be able to run that

The motors are 2004 Yamaha F225s, we bought the Nema cables for them to display engine data on the Garmins but found out that they are not Nema engines. This boat will have F300s on it at some point but we are going to get what we can get out of the 225s in the mean time.
