    This was such an awesome review. Finally getting a chance to see it in entirety. It was very well stored. I will be back to watch Lunch & Dinner when released!

    Always nice to see a review of a ration from my country. Since I never served in the millitary this is all so alien to me, even though REAL field meals can be bought from trekking stores and such for civilians. I'm just fascinated by it.

      you can by them directly from the company here: drytech.no/butikk/produkt-kategori/real-field-meal/

    Great review. Found you thru steve1989 and really enjoy the reviews. Strangely I am a real picky eater and wouldn't eat most of these things you guys do, but can't quit watching the videos. Just wanted to say thank you. And we also donate to St. Jude's, so appreciate what you are doing. Earned yourself a subscription and some thumbs up 😉

      I'm picky as hell too lol. It's more my health is why I'm picky. But, I tried a mre my mom bought for me and I felt bad because although it was okay I didn't care for it and the cost of it total was like 20 dollars. But thankfully my dad has had MREs so he helped finish it off. I'm always mesmerized by these rations even though I'd probably never touch it. All though I'd like to try those cereal survival bars. Just haven't been able to find them to buy.

    Interesting ration, the cold drink is very..... pink, looks good though but then I love raspberry drinks. Wow that is a lot of food in the main. That chocolate I am surprised too that it is so fresh. Yum gummy cough drops. Thanks for the great review.

    Every Norwegian soldiers best friend. We used to pour this into our water canteens(you get raspberry and orange flavors) to have energy drink on the go. Although this was technically forbidden.

    It doesn't mean anything if the items in the packages are "stuck together."

    I know I'm late, but because the tea has vegetable oil in it, is there a chance it could have been bad? Or is that different for vegetable oil. I know Steve when he does some old reviews he mentions sometype of oil that can cause it to go bad. Is that vegetable oil or like lard?

    I've always wanted to try a foreign military ration/mre/lrp but I never have enough money for it. I also wanted to start a MRE review channel with something like "HarrysRationReview" but again, can't get any foreign bc of prices

    • @rcgusto2427
      @rcgusto2427  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ItzCurley it can be daunting for sure. Start by getting a Lithuanian on eBay. You can find them often for about $20. Probably the cheapest international ration

      RC Gusto I've been eating different MREs for the hell of it and I stumbled upon steves channel and it really sparked my interest more. I've had most of the recent menus and my oldest one was like 2003. I get mine from a surplus store and I get them for $9.99. I was thinking about trying the Lithuanian ration or a french RCIR. But I'm saving money for new clothes considering the fact that I'm only 16. I was going to go to a meet that Steve was going to run down in Doswel but I was doing something that day. But yes I have had lots of domestic MREs

    i dont get why American rations dont have the date on them like this...would make it safer so you can see when it was made

    • @rcgusto2427
      @rcgusto2427  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Edgy 11YearOld United States rations have a standardized 4-digit date code on them. First number is the last digit of the year produced, next three numbers are the day of that year. For instance, 7215 would represent the 215th day of 2017.
