@@Ebiketips1 why thank you sir Lectric has been in touch with me and apparently they’re sending me the bike. This company is freaking awesome. So they’ll be more to come.
Great review Gary, I love the belt drive on this bike. Let me know your overall thoughts on the bike things they can improve on it. Definitely different scenery for you. I’m so happy that you got to be chosen to go out there and represent your channel.
@@ebikenation it was a real honor. I didn’t feel like I belonged there because I’m just a little guy, but no one made me feel like that. I can tell you that.
I have to tell you I checked that motorcycle website out from your link but it doesn’t give any pricing but I saw somebody said it was $8000 which I think is cheap for the bike but I’m not gonna buy it 😆 I have to remind myself retirement in less than three years
Nice scenery there, Gary. Quite diff from the area around your home. Did Lectric move to a new location? They used to have a trail around the property for trying out bikes.
@@pedrofernandez8729 their headquarters is in the same place but we were in a different place, they use the hotel for a home base. They actually let us just take the bikes and takeoff all day two days in a row. Both days I rode with Lance hot as hell but had a good time.
I have about 50 miles now, on my Lectric ONE. I really like this e-bike, but I have one major complaint. There is no proportional control to the motor! When using the throttle lever, or when pedaling, the motor control is either at 0% or 100%. In South Florida, on flat terrain, in PAS1, I basically have to throttle, or pedal, at 9 mph. In PAS2 I basically have to throttle, or pedal, at 15 mph. In PAS2, to drive the e-bike at 13 mph, I have to pedal, then coast, then pedal some more. I think the motor control algorithm could be improved, integrating the proportional motor power up and down, based on the pedal cadence, and the current speed.
@@Rip1Outdoors I’ve been doing a lot of research on pinion gears and they are up there in price right now. This is actually a cheap bike, considering it has pinion gears on it.
@@Rip1Outdoors oh I totally hear you people are just not used to seeing that price for that kind of bike but most of these European bikes that have this set up on it start at about $8000
@@williamdillon4282 I believe it would’ve done well. I really like that bike. I’m not kidding. I may end up buying one. I’m hoping they send me one. At 55 pounds it would make a great travel bike.

You can "strum" the belt and use the app to determine proper belt tension...very cool!
