Yeah this would thrive in the Caribbean as an owner operator. When the boats get so big that you have to start thinking about hiring a captain and a couple of crew to assist him they aren't as appealing.
@@josephdover198 yes, for the size very practical boat. I don't like having a captain and crew also. I'm a little bit keen on my privacy. That's why i wanna have a boat like this. Only £549.000 to go with savings....
wow, she is absolutely incredible. The amount of space for a 40 footer is insane. I would definitely buy one if I had the finances. Your very own super yacht scaled down, just incredible. Thank you so much Nick for showing us around her
The automotive channel Savagegeese has done some very good episodes talking to engineers and design teams from virtually every manufacturer. I second your thoughts on Nick being able to talk to the manufacturers about the design process, customer feedback, etc. on what drives their decisions
That layout is amazing. Huge cockpit area, comfortable living space inside, can easily sleep 6-7 (owners cabin bed is large enough for 3 😏), and usually a boat that size have 1 small kitchen & 1 fridge either inside or outside, but this one got fridges in both areas, and a fairly big grill outside in addition of the inside kitchen, AND a tender garage ?!? For a 40ft boat, thats just insane!!! That’s the perfect party boat for a small group of friends who wants a weekend gateaway Also could be a great houseboat in the right type of climate
Perfect! Hop across the channel, hug the coasts of France, Spain, Portugal and then onto the Med. Ooh to win the lottery.. Lovely tour Mr Nick as usual!
Fairline is quickly becoming my favorite yacht. Just the thought that goes into making things as practical as possible, designing pieces to serve more than just one function, and super high quality, and well designed, interiors. Great vid as always Nick! Also, the only reason I see for the 2 sun shades for the "living room" skylight is redundancy. Those things get UV damaged quickly. By having 2, you can still shut out the blazing sun when one inevitably dries out and cracks into little pieces.
An object lesson for any builder/broker. Give Nick the time and space and he will do your boat proud. With the added benefit to us as viewers that we get a good thorough nose around a lovely looking little vessel. Thank you.
Thanks Nick for the tour! I knew you loved the boat with the enthusiasm you showed. This is the best 40' boat I've seen as well. Set your goals and you can achieve. I look forward to your videos this year. All the best to you!
Targa had done it again. The smallest of the Targa but the same quality of her larger sister. Nice decor, and good use of interior and exterior deck space. Good price too. A family or two person boat. Like her.
I’m in agreement with so many other viewers here: This is one of the most superb “small” boats I’ve seen on Nick’s channel. The attention to detail. The high-quality both interior and exterior. How everything fits perfectly…and all at 40 feet? It feels like a much bigger, luxurious boat. Never in my lifetime, alas. But for Nick? I want this for him. And I do believe it will happen, or something quite like it…
Wow! It’s not very often I can watch a tour and not find anything I don’t like about a boat. Not this one, it’s perfect. A great boat and a great tour. Thanks Nick
I love this boat! I could picture myself taking some family out for a little cruise where they can relax and sunbathe, then being able to sleep overnight in comfort. Love the Volvo Penta’s too. Not too big, but it is like a Swiss Army Knife with so much fitted in. Love the hidden tender garage. The attention to detail is great. And yes, the folding rail on the drop down balcony is cool Nick 😉. I do love your all encompassing tours that are done to perfection. You are the master of your craft. Thanks again Nick 😊

I love this boat. I don't think it's quite big enough for a live aboard, but it's much much more than a weekender. What a fantastic place to spend a couple weeks (or months!) in some warm, blue water place. About the only thing I'd change would be to try to find a way to squeeze a chiller in there somewhere.
Ooh, new style Mirror Wave - I like! I think this boat is just about the minimum spec I'd ever want, with so much space and all the essential features - decently appointed galley, lounge area tucked away downstairs, everything accessible. Might benefit from a couple of extras like laundry facilities, but I expect that could be implemented. The best part is always when a builder uses all the available storage space, with those cool little cubby holes, though!

Stunning and at that price point amazing. I’d love to see you review a Galeon 435 GTO….. like another comment if I win the lottery that’s what I’d go for.
For years the Galeon 400 fly has been my fav 40 foot boat (and my ambition boat), but this is brilliant. I love how nothing feels cramped and the living area below deck is genuinely livable. Hmm I think we may have a new favorite especially given the Fairline quality and surprisingly (relatively) low starting price. Cheers for another great review!

I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
I didn't notice any creaking floors. Quality build!
Top notch design and creative use of space. Like others have said, I thought it was going to be more expensive than it was.
This model should be a success.
Fab boat and lovely design and finish. I would really want to spend time on this.
As usual a fantastic video Nick, your tours of boats is tops. Thank you.
Many thanks!
Considering the accommodations, quality of finishes and performance this is a lot of boat for the money. Once again Nick, thanks for bringing this beauty to our attention 😊
It's a pleasure 🙂
What a great 40 foot boat. Really clever use of the space!
Very intelligent design. Very classy. This mini yacht puts many larger and more expensive boats to shame. Well done Fairline. And to Nick also. No other person would ever do a better review.
You're very kind 🙂
Amazing, what an incredible boat. The tour wasn't too shabby either. Loved it, thanks for the brilliant video.
My pleasure!
You said it Nick, a quality boat! I really like this and yes a 40ft its not cramped at all. Very Nice! Thanks as always for the tour.
Thanks for watching!
Very clever and efficient use of space.
Amazing. The amount of designing and thought gone into it.
For a 40' boat it's amazing how much space they achieved
