Come on people, we need to get Nick to 500k subscribers, with a ton of likes, so TH-cam can buy him a Targa 40.
I'm not sure it works quite like that, but I appreciate the sentiment! 😃
Indeed. And next we are going for 1M subscribers :-)
@@AQUAHOLIC well, yeah its quite a bit of a stretch, but we never know! Though I already asked a lot of my family to subscribe to your channel 😂 a small contribution for you, Nick!
@@pierre.a.larsen Let him enjoy the Targa before he gets the Princess ;-)
He already owns Roman abramovich’s yacht, smugglers blues is just for the you tube channel and hmrc 😂
30 minutes for a 40ft boat tour, just goes to show what they've packed into this. You've got aroung 90 footers in less time. I think i've found my new favourite "small" yacht i'll never be able to afford. Thanks foe the tour.
You're very welcome! 🙂
Time flies when you're having fun, that felt like 10 - 12 minutes but it is indeed half an hour in length.
44 seconds/foot. Usually only Nordhavens get that attention.
Lol I love how you know Nick so well 😂 We been loyal subscribers 😇
He's just repeating himself over and over and over and awkwardest guffawing repeatedly.
I would love to see Nick do an episode where he talks to the designers and we see their creative processes.
The automotive channel Savagegeese has done some very good episodes talking to engineers and design teams from virtually every manufacturer.
I second your thoughts on Nick being able to talk to the manufacturers about the design process, customer feedback, etc. on what drives their decisions
I'd like to see some of the background too. I'm sure nick would be able to get some crazy access.
This boat is way better than most $1M boats out there.
this has got to be the best small boat that we have seen for a long time. love it, love Fairline. Quality speaks!
Yeah this would thrive in the Caribbean as an owner operator. When the boats get so big that you have to start thinking about hiring a captain and a couple of crew to assist him they aren't as appealing.
Two boats in ONE -
A speed boat "up top"
A proper yacht below.
Very nice. Thanks Fairline and Nick, for the tour.
Our pleasure!
wow, she is absolutely incredible. The amount of space for a 40 footer is insane. I would definitely buy one if I had the finances. Your very own super yacht scaled down, just incredible. Thank you so much Nick for showing us around her
My pleasure! 🙂
This is one of the best boats I’ve seen in here in quite a while. I prefer galley down boats, so this would be my ideal boat, if I had the money😢
Talk about a TARDIS! Amazing for 40’. What a brilliantly designed boat.
Indeed, the interior space is not mathing in my head with the exterior on this one 😂
Really nice, isn't it
I'm guessing that one of the night screens was supposed to be a bug screen and someone just hadn't had their coffee yet when they installed it.
Extremely impressed with this one, a marval of packaging, cant believe its only a 40 footer, also can't believe the price, still too rich for my blood but a steal for what it is.
That layout is amazing. Huge cockpit area, comfortable living space inside, can easily sleep 6-7 (owners cabin bed is large enough for 3 😏), and usually a boat that size have 1 small kitchen & 1 fridge either inside or outside, but this one got fridges in both areas, and a fairly big grill outside in addition of the inside kitchen, AND a tender garage ?!? For a 40ft boat, thats just insane!!!
That’s the perfect party boat for a small group of friends who wants a weekend gateaway
Also could be a great houseboat in the right type of climate
No icemaker.
@@darthkek1953maybe the space under the helm seat can be optioned for it?
@@coreysnider5708 looked like a great spot imo.
@@darthkek1953 so?
Love how whoever prepped the boat lobbed empty drinks cartons and rubbish into the sinks, not realising how thorough Nick’s tours are 😆
Love this boat
Smuggler’s Blues 3 coming right up!
I wish!!
Came in here to look for this comment. The only other time that statement has been close to true is his tour of the Princess V40. I'd love to know if Nick had the choice of one free one if he'd pick the V40 or the T40.
That’s a lot of boat for your money. Massive amount of thought went into the design.
My absolute favourite boat for owner operation. Beautiful. Dare I say it, Good value too.
Thats stunning. What a fantastic use of space and all inside 40 feet !! No pun intended, but take a bow Fairline.
An object lesson for any builder/broker. Give Nick the time and space and he will do your boat proud. With the added benefit to us as viewers that we get a good thorough nose around a lovely looking little vessel. Thank you.
I am now convinced thanks to Nick, that the two most common activities carried out on a yacht are drinking and tucking yourself away with a good book. 😊😊
You are not wrong :)
They're certainly up there! 😄 th-cam.com/video/J3L0KAUhPXs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=v9fcgOmKTH9qjk95
This boat should be in the text books for ergonomic design. Very clever indeed.
Fairline just told sunseeker and princess hold my beer and watch this. WOW! I had to rewatch this one
great tour brilliant indeed 👍
Every video of yours I watch with a boat like this one, I almost live in hope that you will say at the beginning.... and this is especially fantastic, as it is my new boat!! Not that I have anything against Smugglers in any way at all!!, I just would love to see all your hard work rewarded with a new aquaholic acquisition. Love your videos Nick. Keep up the great work ❤
Maybe one day 😃
It's so hard to believe that this boat is only 500k, this might be my favorite sub $1,000,000 boat I've ever seen. Great work Nick!
Thank you!
It is not a $500K boat. In USA dealers are charging close to $1.5 million.
Perfect! Hop across the channel, hug the coasts of France, Spain, Portugal and then onto the Med. Ooh to win the lottery.. Lovely tour Mr Nick as usual!
Thank you! 🙂
I have been following this man's videos for so many years. When ever I buy a boat I will ask him for his opinion for sure
WoW!! This may well be the BEST 40 footer you've ever had on the channel while I've been watching. It is so impressive. Brilliant!
I agree, Nick would look very proud at the helm of that beauty
Surprisingly nice! I normally don’t care for the smaller owner/operator boats. But I really like this.
'I'll edit that out later' You could have that on a T-shirt! Brilliant video!
Thank you!
A real swiss army knife of a boat! Nick - I reckon you would multiply your viewership figures if we could see your adventures of going places on this great new craft. I for one would love to see practical (sort of how to) adventures at sea and overseas. With your superb production skills and considerate content it would make for exciting and relaxing yarns to avidly follow!
It's a lovely idea... 🙂
I second that idea! Make it a nice 1 hour show please - good for friday night entertainment.
Nick flips a light switch..Brilliant!😊
I'm easily pleased! 😄
Very intelligent design. Very classy. This mini yacht puts many larger and more expensive boats to shame. Well done Fairline. And to Nick also. No other person would ever do a better review.
You're very kind 🙂
That is so perfectly laid out for a 40’ boat. And the attention to details is top notch. Absolutely beautiful.
What a beautiful boat and I think its really good value for money.Thank you nick.
My pleasure!
Very impressed with this fine vessel, I cannot fault it at all.
I love this boat. I don't think it's quite big enough for a live aboard, but it's much much more than a weekender. What a fantastic place to spend a couple weeks (or months!) in some warm, blue water place. About the only thing I'd change would be to try to find a way to squeeze a chiller in there somewhere.
I love this boat! I could picture myself taking some family out for a little cruise where they can relax and sunbathe, then being able to sleep overnight in comfort. Love the Volvo Penta’s too. Not too big, but it is like a Swiss Army Knife with so much fitted in. Love the hidden tender garage. The attention to detail is great. And yes, the folding rail on the drop down balcony is cool Nick 😉. I do love your all encompassing tours that are done to perfection. You are the master of your craft. Thanks again Nick 😊
You're very kind! 🙂
I’m in agreement with so many other viewers here: This is one of the most superb “small” boats I’ve seen on Nick’s channel. The attention to detail. The high-quality both interior and exterior. How everything fits perfectly…and all at 40 feet? It feels like a much bigger, luxurious boat. Never in my lifetime, alas. But for Nick? I want this for him. And I do believe it will happen, or something quite like it…
You're very kind 🙂
After visiting my "other half" in hospital, I relaxed with Nick's fantastic tour!. I'll edit that later!. Great update on the 35.Till the next one.
I hope they're on the mend 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC Thanks Nick. She's much improved.
@@fidel681 That's great to hear. 🙂
Have to say the way they’ve made use of the space is unreal. With galley and saloon area as big as it is plus the head and forward cabin I wasn’t expecting to see a rear cabin at all. Stunning and at that price point amazing.
I’d love to see you review a Galeon 435 GTO….. like another comment if I win the lottery that’s what I’d go for.
Top notch design and creative use of space. Like others have said, I thought it was going to be more expensive than it was.
Stunning craft love it! Also like the fact they have given so much access to the engines ❤
Fantastic boat at a good price. It's got all the features I'd ever need. Great video. 🇦🇺 😊
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
What an extraordinary boat. It's the Transformers of boating! The thought that has gone in to packing as many options of possible into the space is just mind blowing. As a plaything for a family it is unparelleled....fab boat....
Fairline nailed it with this one. Stunning and practical. Cheers Nick.
🦘🇦🇺 Thank you Nick. What a fabulous tour. So many nooks & crannies I thought you were never going to stop. For a 40’ it’s simply astonishing. 🛟🙏
That’s a great boat, for a 40 foot cruiser or so that’s got to be the market leader now, although I also love the slightly bigger new Marex. The likes of Princess had better up their game, their 40 now looks it’s age.
If you get the chance this summer it would be interesting to see you do a comparison video with previous generations of the Targa 40. It would highlight just how much progress there’s been over the years. At the same time it would show people without the budget for a new 40 just what they could get for their money in the secondhand market. For a lot of people, particularly in the U.K. a T40 of some sort is a (just maybe possible) dream boat.
For years the Galeon 400 fly has been my fav 40 foot boat (and my ambition boat), but this is brilliant. I love how nothing feels cramped and the living area below deck is genuinely livable. Hmm I think we may have a new favorite especially given the Fairline quality and surprisingly (relatively) low starting price. Cheers for another great review!
You're very welcome!
The boat of the year so far for me. Great presentation as usual Nick and it was obvious how impressed you were.
This should be your next boat Nick. Loved it!
That's kind of you, can I have a white one please? 😃
@AQUAHOLIC - Of course! Anything for our favourite TH-camr!
*scurries off, buys lottery ticket...*
Wooow! Wooow! Wooow! That was the most beautiful and smart boat! That's exactly what I love! That's to me, is the best boat ever! Absolutely great, smart and precise presentation Nick! Absolutely great job done as always! A great thanks for sharing one of the 7 wonders of the world! ❤👏
I'm glad that you liked it 🙂
Fairline is quickly becoming my favorite yacht. Just the thought that goes into making things as practical as possible, designing pieces to serve more than just one function, and super high quality, and well designed, interiors. Great vid as always Nick! Also, the only reason I see for the 2 sun shades for the "living room" skylight is redundancy. Those things get UV damaged quickly. By having 2, you can still shut out the blazing sun when one inevitably dries out and cracks into little pieces.
Wow... what a great yacht!! Seems a lot bigger than 40'!!! Great tour Nick! Your enthusiasm is wonderful. Smugglers Blues III contender for sure!!!
I wish! 😄
Lovely boat Nick, they've squeezed a lot into a 40 footer and made it look good as well.👍🏴
Gorgeous vintage GMT, Nick!
Thank you! 🙂
You are the best.. in this ..and you show to with many contribuuts...for construction brands to improve their yachts... with..more.. improve for yachts properties
Ciao from Italy, Nick! What an amazing designed 40 foot boat. This sports cruiser is simple in all it's areas but awesome work of using space!!!
This might be one of my top boats that you’ve toured. Absolutely in love with the layout, I could live on this! Thanks for another great tour, Nick!
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Mr Burnham sir i don't normally comment if I don't see your post on the day but I had too, considering I would normally discount this style of yacht for a flybridge yacht this Fairline Targa really makes me take a double take, it's stunning and full of genius bits and pieces it's so clever. If I already had my large yacht I could easily see this parked at my jetty of my seafront pile for the times I'm not on the main yacht, Nick it's easily to see why you're so taken with this Fairline and honestly if I had silly silly money I would buy this Targa for you just to see Smugglers Blues III blazend across it 😊 All the best from Cornwall 🤗✌️👍
You're very kind! 🙂
Absolutely love this boat Nick. If I had the money for this, I would live on it and travel the Great Lakes here in Michigan. That thing is full of surprises. All thumbs up here…..Oh , and we love you too. :-)
Thanks! 😄
Fully kitted with bits and then some. Well done Fairline ! As always, thank you Nick. What a wonderful floating hotel suite.I could happily live aboard 1.
Love it and your tour. You have a youthful fun charismatic way that you go about your explanations. This is a great example of the pure joy of boating.
Thank you so much!
I didn't notice any creaking floors. Quality build!
I have always liked Fairline they just look right and feel right
im no expert. in fact, everything ive learned about boats is from watching @aquaholic videos. yes, it's over half a million. but this vessel seems to be exceptional value for the money. id happily live on that beauty.
Outstanding! The design and implementation is brilliant. High quality materials and finishes serounds you. She is definitely a beautiful boat.
All this in a 40 foot boat!
Remarkable!
This 40 ft Targa boat is just about perfect. When they come out with battery powered electric motors to drive it then it will be perfect. Outfitted with some of those high efficiency solar panels you could always get home !
Thanks Nick for the tour! I knew you loved the boat with the enthusiasm you showed. This is the best 40' boat I've seen as well. Set your goals and you can achieve. I look forward to your videos this year. All the best to you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Nick,And thank you for a very nice show of this new Fairline Targa 40 and iy looks great with that little funny balcony on the side what you see more and more on multiple brands the nice open cockpit below the salon with galley looks very need badrooms also looks great and one bathroom Thanks Nick that is a very nice show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My pleasure!
Fairline do such a fantastic job of adding so many features to a smaller space. Just fantastic. Beautifully done! Thanks for the tour, Nick!
You're very welcome!
I am always amazed at how much they can fit into a boat of this size. Beautiful boat and I think you're a bit smitten, Nick 😊
I quite liked it..! 😄
Lovely design yet still a lot of space and it looks really well proportioned everywhere, just lacking a dishwasher and solar to get it full option. Great one, Nick! Am i safe to say you like this one too?❤
I don't mind it... 😄
@@AQUAHOLIC how much would each follower have to chip in to get us on the water, i wonder!
Ooh, new style Mirror Wave - I like!
I think this boat is just about the minimum spec I'd ever want, with so much space and all the essential features - decently appointed galley, lounge area tucked away downstairs, everything accessible. Might benefit from a couple of extras like laundry facilities, but I expect that could be implemented.
The best part is always when a builder uses all the available storage space, with those cool little cubby holes, though!
Got to love a mirror wave 👋
Great little boat with some very useful arrangements
Wow! It’s not very often I can watch a tour and not find anything I don’t like about a boat. Not this one, it’s perfect. A great boat and a great tour. Thanks Nick
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a boat, and what a bargain price. Great tour, as ever, Nick and you can tell how good this boat is by your enthusiasm and time required to cover all aspects the design and build with the quality shining through. This is level pegging with the Princess F45 for me and I would not quibble if the coin came up heads or tails.
Amazing. The amount of designing and thought gone into it.
I would def go for a high/low swim platform to fit a proper tender.
Excellent! I was surprised that the interior was so spacious. Great tour, Nick!
Thank you!
Very clever and efficient use of space.
Great boat and features for the size Nick
I’m in love with this boat!
A great layout for a 40’ boat
I was planning to suggest this as Smugglers Blues III and you stole my line at the end! Well done, sir!!
This is the boat to aspire to Nick, I think it would do you very well.
I agree!
Very tasteful interior design, beautiful
The difference in the "Night Screen"s is one leaves a little sunlight through and the other is total blackout.
This model should be a success.
Fairline sure make a nice boat. The balcony, the fit and finish. Very nice.
Haw did you know I was going to ask if this was going to be SB3?😂
I love the redundancy on the nigh screen, when one breaks you have another! 😆
Lovely boat and great review as ever Nick.
Just wanted to highlight though that the one recently at a boat show, which admittedly had a lot of the options ticked worked out at a price of over a £1m including tax.
Yup, plenty of scope for speccing them up!
Such a great tour loved seeing all the hidden tricks thanks Nick, and an excellent boat too!
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
Fantastic piece of kit!
Wonderful, lovely, smart bout it's important video to me,thanks Nick and all the best 👌
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC thanks a lot all the best from port said Egypt
I’ve had my V39 for nearly 10 years (you’re welcome to visit Nick - it’s in the background of this vid) - love the size, this feels like the first proper upgrade available at around 40ft
Agreed, it's a great size!
Amazing, what an incredible boat. The tour wasn't too shabby either. Loved it, thanks for the brilliant video.
My pleasure!
SB3….. ?!
It has to be a 500k subs present to yourself doesn’t it 😁
Great tour as always Nick, thank you. Very impressive boat for a 40’er.
Maybe at a million! 😄
So many ingenious ideas and all making the boat a better option. I particularly like (small detail I know) the ‘step-on’ groove along the side
The interior finish is really good and although I tend to think you are a Princess fan you were yourself taken with this.
Thanks, Nick, as ever for a great review. Would love to see a visit to their yard.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
For a smaller boat this is clever . Allot of room . I'm impressed with the design.
Thanks for the tour, Nick! This is my new favorite non-Nordhavn!
My pleasure!
It is a very nice boat and very different from a Nordhavn. You can get a Nordhavn 41 ready to cruise for ~£720,000 (not far off a well equipped Targa 40). If you want to go long distance the choice is easy. If you just go on smaller trips then this one looks pretty nice.
@@pierre.a.larsen Nordhavn is always my first choice!
@@jwebb3337 I can understand that.
What a fantastic boat, ingenious design features! Another excellent tour Nick👍 Thankyou!
My pleasure!
