Iron blooded orphans will always be my fav gundam but even though witch from mercury starts off childish it gets really good
all i hear about is how 'progressive' it is, and how 'stunning' and 'brave' it is...which are terms that often result in something not meant for me.
It got good only to fall flat for me.
Unicorn was a great ova series. Say all you want haters, Banagher is great character.
Btw I'm kinda sad that Char's Counter Attack did not make the top 10 of this list. Oh well.
Gundam seed by far is my favourite one.
The story, the pacing , the music and animation.

Gundam Wing Endless Waltz is actually scored same in myanimelist which is 7.7. Seed is 7.7 too.
Maybe the op doesn't like Seed so he went with just Wing EW(maybe). But don't worry you're not alone. I like Seed too.
Edit: to be exact, both are sitting in 7.74
I'm fan GS n GSD..I think admin was not born in 90 era..i started watching GS in 2001..when I was at 7 years old..
My first favourite character in gundam is athrun zala..I don't know y gundam seed is not in top ranking..
Gundam IBO for me is the best when it comes to the story and all.
00 is a great introduction into Gundam. Currently watching blood iron orphans and it hasn’t disappointed

I unfortunately couldn't enjoy it, and found it rather boring mid way through and I was kinda disappointed seeing it so high on the list. I was hoping there were better Gundam animes than orphans.

I have no idea which series to start from...
Start at the beginning with the original Gundam, then just go in order they were released. Most gundam shows are more than just giant robots fighting. There's romance, there's drama, there's tragedy, there's mystery, and yeah, there's giant robot fights.
Don’t listen to that guy ^ just wwtch whichever gundam interests you the most it’s not necessary to start from the beginning.
You can choose any but every gundam is main verse and is spin off
