- little vid of the install (removal) of tdi tandem pump. mine was leaking fuel into oil, couldnt find any info on rebuilding so I posted some vids with a link to my rebuild kit.

great video, i have some big problems with the 3 Friking torxs inside... they broke.
Hmm, I’ve drilled a hole in center before and hammered a torx bit into the hole to remove. Try that?
@@bbb129 i will do a hole and use the extractor tool i think.. but it's in my work 😡.. tomorrow i will have no choice but to take the bus 😂
@@matisms yeah I’ve not used an extractor in a long time, should work. I always had great luck with a slightly undersized hole and hammering a torx in as the impact loosens it up, you got this! The bus will make you appreciate the car! If needs be I can sell you a spare pump I have!
@@bbb129 thanks man i really appreciate that but im in Argentina so its kinda far, yeah i hammered the torx but didnt work and i dont want to overshit the thing.

Hoping this fixes mine! Bought it with quoted “high oil pressure and fuel in the oil” so I’ve changed all the seals on the tandem pump and going to check oil pressure 🤞🏼 if not then I guess injector seals!

@@bbb129oil pressure seems ok, I guess I need to drive it and see if the oil level rises 🤷🏻♂️ not sure how else to check if it’s still got an issue 🤔

yes issue fixed! NO MORE PROBLEMS!
I just had to rebuild mine. It was leaking fuel all over the coolant hose that goes back to the EGR cooler and caused it to split open while I was on a road trip
yah pretty common, mine was leaking into the crankcase!
