I use that brand as well but had issues with the sponge tip applicator because it kept picking up the diamonds off the painting no matter how flat and solid it was, it's cool to see that it can work! I had to switch to the one of same brand but with silicone brush applicator because i was tired of ruining my paintings. Thank you for this cool video! 🎉❤

Thank you Rachel. I ruined a whole a whole diamond painting that had popping drills by using a crappy cheap product. Well, then I did a diamond painting of a shark that my grandson wanted. Popping drills on that one also...but I used that Tombow. When it dried I rushed to Hobby Lobby and got it framed and matted. I now only invest in DAC. (oh, the Tombow worked. It is still hanging in his bedroom!). Much luv...your channel relaxes me. Take good care Rachel. :)

I just bought this sealer and it uses a lot. Meaning all,of a sudden you emptied you emptied the bottle. I like how it sealed. The sealer did not dull. But I would use a soft brush to spread it rather than the sponge.

Thanks for the video it is very helpful. I use a mod podge sealer which works great however I just ran out and went to the store. The issue is the only one I could find was a spray. Do you have any tips for sealing with a spray. I'm just worried about the application for the spray.

I use tombow mono aqua glue or mod pod he to seal them and it works wonders! I like them because they both dry flexible so it doesn’t crack. I used triple thick once and it cracked the whole thing!

Hey Rachel I’ve been looking for a good sealer for my diamond painting as I too have popping drills. So I’m going too by this Amazon sealer but. I have a couple questions I hope you can answer.
1 how many coats did you use.
2 and did the bubbles go away on it’s own or did you have to use a hair dryer

Hi Cindy, I have brush type as well. I looked this up to see what they look like when completed. I am going to seal mine and do some iron hem sewing and make mine a garden flag and place outside. Do you think the seal will seal enough to withstand the sun and they won't "melt down" ... they are perfect size for garden flags.

Hi! Just wondering if it's okay to roll up the diamond painting after sealing it. I don't have a portfolio to store them in so I just always roll them back up to store away in their original box. I'm looking into sealing them but wondering if rolling it up again after it dries will ruin it?

    • @RachelRaeCraft

They probably won't be able to roll up once sealant has been applied. You might need to store them in a flat portfolio.
