Just started doing diamond painting and find it really relaxing and fun. I've seen people do this before, but you did it a little differently. For example, one little lady was really precise and painted with her little brush a little at a time, actually bored me a little..You on the other hand "It's not rocket science" and dumps the whole bowl of glue straight on before you start spreading. I laughed a little to myself and thought maybe it's not necessary to make everything so complicated and time-consuming..
I'm new to this. I just finished my first ever without previous knowledge. Straight forward til sealing and framing. I have 2 cats so I got to pluck those out before sealing. I bout a sealer from michaels where I got an 8x8. Not going to lie thank you for this video. Seen videos using modge podge and didn't look good and 48 hours? Yikes. But the ending after said and done made it vibrant. Great video. I'll use the diamond sealer they sell at michaels for this small one I did and when I do a bigger one try this technique. And cutting it I think helps.
Hello, I'm your 564th Thumbs up. I'm the new here watching and enjoying this video. It scared me when you poured the modge podge on the canvas. I still haven't sealed my first campus because I'm nervous. I'm currently working on my first big canvas which is my second canvas and it's a custom one. The seailing process to me is the most scariest part. I do plan to practice on smaller canvases that I don't care about before I do the larger canvases. I was relieved to see that your compass didn't come out foggy looking when dried. The other thing I'm anxious about is framing the canvases especially for gifts. Most of my canvases will be given as gifts. I'm still very new at Diamond painting and I enjoyed doing the one placement kind of diamond painting. I'm looking forward to checking out more of your videos. Thank you for sharing. 😊😊😊Sharon in SC Full Watch 10:05
I will try this with my next one. I bought a sealer off Amazon and I’m so sad because it left like a milky look between the drills and they actually look like there is a plastic film on my canvas. This looks great. Thank you!
I used Mod Podge on my first set of coasters. It dulled the shine and felt sticky even after drying. I won’t use it anymore. I bought something in a blue bottle on Amazon and it’s amazing. Brilliant shine and no stickiness after it dries.
I use mod podge glossy clear spray for mine. It works. You still lose a little shine but only spray a little thin layer over painting from a bit of a distance to avoid splotches over canvas.
Tell me I'm not the only one who cringed cutting straight onto the table LOL - thanks for the demonstration - I never thought of diluting the mod podge in that way.
Omgosh. Tape to protect the desk, but cut the painting out with an exacto knife directly on the desktop? 😂 I will try the mod podge though. Thanks for the tip about wiping the excess off the top off the drills.
Great job! Thank you for the helpful tip! Your channel is awesome! I have a channel Alisabella Design, and I wonder if you could help me spread the word about my giveaway. I have a very small channel and am trying to grow it so that more people have a chance to win my Diamond Paintings. I will have way too many to keep them all, but I want to share my love for Diamond Painting art with others. Thank you for considering! Many blessings to you and thank you for sharing your love for this beautiful art form as I enjoy watching!

Well done, thank you for the demonstration.....This is the first time seeing this last step of diamond projects 👏 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thankyou very much. Great tutorial😊
Glad it was helpful!
When sealing the painting, does it bleed through completely to underneath surface?
Oh, I never thought about doing that. I just let it dry. That’s a good tip.
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing 👍 very helpful 😊
My pleasure 😊

Thank you. We have this hung in our home and it looks great!!
What type of Modge Podge? There are many types ❤

This is what I've been doing...for years and they all are still beautiful...
Did you use glossy or matte mod podge
Do always thought you used modge podge beat thanks for sharing I'll do this next time xx
We like mod podge best
Ive read that modge podge takes the 'shimmer' out of the crystals. True or False?
It does. It isn't too much but it is noticeable. I am going to try this method for my 2nd project
After applying Mod Podge, use a slightly damp cloth to wipe off excess. This helps the diamonds to shine!
In a video you did 3 years ago, you said you liked the Elmer's clear glue best for sealing. What has changed?
The music is so epic.
Thank you!
Very nice. Cool. I will try this method . From Canada.
I would do this on a piece of card, not my table lol from uk. What is hod Podge ?
Basically, it's just wood glue cut with water (i'd say about 1:9 ratio, something like that)
when ever i use mod podge my paintings really get stiff its ruined a couple of my paintings
Where did you get that diamond painting from I would love to get one
I got this from dollarama dollar store. Amazon would be next best option
Can modge lodge spray works
I use mod podge glossy clear spray for mine. It works. You still lose a little shine but only spray a little thin layer over painting from a bit of a distance to avoid splotches over canvas.
Does this work with Special Shape, Diamond Painting? Some diamonds are big. ???
We don't know. Never tried it. Great question.
I do it this way too...
Tell me I'm not the only one who cringed cutting straight onto the table LOL - thanks for the demonstration - I never thought of diluting the mod podge in that way.
I hear you. It’s a very old piece of a large wooden desk top. Sturdy and tough. 😂
I was trippin out hard core! Lol
Omgosh. Tape to protect the desk, but cut the painting out with an exacto knife directly on the desktop? 😂 I will try the mod podge though. Thanks for the tip about wiping the excess off the top off the drills.
He put way too much on that painting!
What a dumb idea
