I’ve used the Minwax Polycrylic Protective Finish, Gloss, Clear on paintings and off canvas. There are a lot of different type so be careful when ordering. Best place to order Amazon and though it’s expensive it lasts a long time without changing consistency as long as sealed well.I apply with a brush and wipe top of drills after applying. Cleanup is easy with water. Dries quickly but I generally leave over night. As you have said the canvases are stiffer and have some flex but not for rolling.Thank you for your information. Peace and love abide with you 💕
Hi Daphne! I have only sealed off the canvas projects. For something that needs to flex a bit (journals and storage cubes, etc.) I use clear craft glue and Mod Podge for things like keychains and night lights. I never thought of mixing in water so have used both full strength. I also never wiped off the excess. I have a couple of canvasses that I don’t like so will cut them up into squares and do some experiments. Thanks for this video! ❤️💎
Thanks for sharing your sealing tips, Daphne. I usually use mod podge or clear craft glue. I’ve been wanting to try the Minwax poly acrylic because I’ve heard a lot about how well it works. I’ve never heard of the crystal art sealer that you used here but I’m definitely going to be looking for it!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on sealing a diamond painting. Have you tried Minwax Polycrylic clear gloss sealant? If so, how does it compare to your favorites?
Decoart triple thick gloss glaze is also a good one for sealing diamond paintings, and not losing the sparkle.
Thanks for sharing!!
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous Any time. Thank you for sharing all you do too. I've learned a lot.
This is what I use also

I’ve not tried the Poly or glue methods, so I’m not sure how they compare. Thanks for watching!!
Can you seal acrylic diamond art items?
You can, but sometimes sealing a piece can void the warranty, so be sure to check prior to sealing if that’s a concern for you. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks! I've heard of warranties on canvas but not acrylic items. I'll check.
