I love this series man. I like how it’s a common car that a lot of people can relate to. I wish my dad would pull engines and rebuild cars with me. Tyler is lucky. Also Tyler has a good eye for the little details and he’s pretty dang smart to figure a lot of this stuff out. Keep up the good work guys.
Great job. Enjoy seeing a young man getting involved, having a hobby with his pops. Funny when Tyler bust dad on his lil mistakes. Keep them videos coming guys😇. Hope your excelling in school young man💪
Another great video. Good on you for letting Tyler do his first engine pull. I still cant believe that the engine ran with that hole in it. Built like a tank. Look forward to the next video.
You are definitely right it’s tough. Just try to find a way. Tyler loves the TH-cam and editing and filming and I love working on cars so just combined our hobbies.
Alright, you got me. I had to sub to you because I have been struggling with this car the last two days. Come to find out, I missed the exact same bolt that your son found 😢😅 tell him I said thank you so very much!!!
That was funny when dad said to Tyler to quite school and become a full time swomp boys garage team and Tyler is like yea I'll quite school Lol 😂 ( ik he won't quite school Lol ) Plus Tyler is a smart kid and found a hidden bolt... Great video and I can't wait for the new engine to put in! 😋👍
Can I put 2010 or 2011 Toyota Camry engine on my 2007 Camry, because my engine has a bad valves and bad valve stem seals which making it hard to start especially in the freezing weather. so, does it fit?
I think your engine code is 2Az FE. Just verify the engine you get is same code. I think the 2010&2011 is a different code I would do some research on google. I doubt your cars computer will work with that engine.
I remove the engine from underneath I lower the entire front sub frame, and lower it from the car as an entire unit. Everything still intact engine and trans. Unless you need to separate them for service. Its significantly faster that way
Don’t stress missing a bolt anyone who tells you they have never missed a bolt is a liar I’ve worked on cars, trucks, tractors you name it my whole life and there is almost always a bolt I miss lol don’t sweat it
Hi Tyler I'm on what's app plus Instagram and face book are you happy to also chat via those it would be really cool if we can. Its chilled if you decide not , and ye I like your dad he's wonderful you,re so lucky to have a dad like you got.
Sons lucky, he’s going to transform beautiful cars someday, as a hobby
He’s learning a lot

Thank you. We are having fun and learning a lot.
Y’all made my day with this. Not my firs engine job, but that bolt your boy pointed out is the one I missed. Thanks guys
We appreciate the comment. Yeah that was our first engine pull and learned a lot. He was happy to find my mistake that’s for sure. Lol

He is quick to find my faults. Lol.
Yes I need to know this. I own a 2012 Camry and ima need to remember this
You are so right that you are learning a lot as your channel grows. And Tyler must have grown 6 inches since the channel started too!😉
We were just talking about that. He definitely hit a growth spurt last year.
What a wonderful thing to do with your son! Just Beautiful.
Thank you so much for the comment
Thanks for posting this video, very informative.
Glad to hear! Thank You!

Thank you and yeah those Toyota engine are tough.
Love this! I have a 14 year old as well… and am trying to get him interested in cars as well. Not so easy in the age of technology.
You are definitely right it’s tough. Just try to find a way. Tyler loves the TH-cam and editing and filming and I love working on cars so just combined our hobbies.
When pulling and installing a frt wheel drive engine, put a jack under tranny to lift bell housing and create more space for flywheel to clear tranny
See that’s the kind of tips we love getting on here. Appreciate that. I’ll do that in the future.
Thanks very much excellent work
Thank you
I get the feeling Tyler will be a master mechanic someday. Or maybe an engineer!
He is definitely learning a lot.
Enjoyed the video guys. Always some good content to enjoy in my man cave!
Thank you and we appreciate your support each week. Means a lot to us.

Thank you. I’m taking advantage of all the time he will still hang out with me.
Keepen it real... No editing... Lol...
Looking forward to the next episode...
He edits to make me look bad. Lol.

He does way better in school than I ever could. He is straight A’s and I was straight C’s. Lol
@@SwampBoysGarage that's good and I bet your proud of him 😋👍 Lol
Awesome! Moving along nicey there!
Slow but steady. Lol
looking great!!!
Thank you!
They are 😀😀
The car is looking great 😀
Lmao glued together it’s called you missed one of the bolts in the trans smarty
Yeah you right
FYI, never hurts to pull the radiator before you pull the engine. Make the install easier too. Good job though !
Very true!!! That would have helped a lot.
Thanks
More of an engine removal than a swap, but still informative. Gonna search nad see if there's a second half of this video to complete the swap.
It started out as a swap then we bought a wrecked car for its engine and decided to part out the bad engine car to fix the wrecked one.
@@SwampBoysGarage Yup, great decision! I'm on episode 9 now. Didn't plan to watch this much but I got drawn in, haha! Great content, guys!
Haha. We just learn as we go and do the best we can. Far from pros.

Yes, it is 2AZ-FE Thank you for answering me today.
So is it worth buying a flooded car and fixing it up
It all depends. We will only make a
Few thousand on it since we have to swap the engine but we out here for fun, not to make money.
I can't believe how they can dry it up that good for sale
I remove the engine from underneath
I lower the entire front sub frame, and lower it from the car as an entire unit.
Everything still intact engine and trans. Unless you need to separate them for service.
Its significantly faster that way
That’s how I would do it if I had a lift.
I know nothing about cars how does a hole in the back of an engine like that happen?
The water in the cylinder caused high pressure and made the piston rod bust loose and go through the engine.
@@SwampBoysGarage Guessing that's death for the engine?
You should remove the intake . Make a lot easier
Probably would have
Can I drop the motor from bottom?
Never tried that since we don’t have a lift but you probably can
They said Toyota would run forever this one didn’t lol. I think you should crack yourself open a cold one after this engine pull
I did and I’ll crack two open when this car runs again. Lol.
Don’t stress missing a bolt anyone who tells you they have never missed a bolt is a liar I’ve worked on cars, trucks, tractors you name it my whole life and there is almost always a bolt I miss lol don’t sweat it
Very true

Hey guys have you thought of rebuilding semi trucks they,re a great challenge for you. a big project. maybe worth it.
We will need a bigger shop for that but that’s definitely a good idea. Maybe in a few years as we grow.
