So i'll record my progress down here as this is the only abs workout i have for now.
i'll try to do it everyday, and for comparison:
I have a thin kind of body, almost slim. I am a teenager so I have a small-ish body (15y)
currently I can see the "abs" starting to show up, but they're not too visible yet.
(27/05/22): the past 3 days I couldn't workout because of a very bad cold, but today I tried this and I had the best improvement ever!
really: today was the only day I couldn't finish all these sets without "resting" for minutes! looking forward next day
(31/05/22): today I tried the workout again, but didn't manage to finish it all at the same pace I did before.
but, I do feel a lot of changes! I don't feel the abs yet, but I can already see some changes in my belly area..
I'll try some legs workout for now and 1m plank
then call it a day.
(01/06/22): I felt very unmotivated today for a few reasons, and really thought i wouldn't make it to the end. I did. I also did some 40 push-ups and a minute plank, looking foward the next day!
(02/06/22): Because of the flu and the cold temperatures i couldn't finish it all, so i only did half.
plus i did 1m 15s plank and few pushups.
(06/06/2022): today i did some legs workout, plank and arms, didnt focus at all on my abs.
(07/06/2022): today was the day I worked out the most. I did legs, 60 pushups (it was very hard so I had paused a few times) and this entire workout along with 2 sets of 1m 15s plank
I'm sweating, and probably because I did legs before this one, it was very hard to finish it. but i did anyways, looking foward the next day!
(08/06/22): i wasnt able to do the workout at the same pace i had yesterday, not sure if it was because I was tired or laziness.
either way, I did the very same routine BUT I did not use this vid for abs workout, I didn't do as much push-ups and did little plank, atleast I exercised today so that's enough I guess. (even though it wasn't much as 20 minutes total lol)
(09/06/22): i was better today than i was yesterday, did 30 pushups non-stop, 1m plank and this workout.
(12/06/22): another day of workout finished, 60 push-ups, 1m 15s plank and also some legs workout
I see some results! looking through the mirror I can already see my abs showing up, I just have to work more on my belly.
(21/06/22): I didn't record my progress the past few days but I did workout for 5 or so days.
today I wasnt able to finish this workout, but I did 1m 20s plank and 70 push-ups.
I also felt my abs burning a lot
everyday they look more apparent
(22/06/22): exercised for a brief period
(23/06/22): 70 puships, 1m20s plank and this full abs workout, had pauses in between
I looked at the mirror and I look way stronger than I used to. I'm so happy! all that is left for me is mainly working on my legs.
(25/06/22): yesterday I had two vaccine shots and my arms really hurt... that's why I didn't workout. today they still hurt a little, so I did legs
(26/06/22): back to normal, 70 push-ups with a lot of difficulty (though I can react 20-30 without feeling pain), then 1m 20s plank and this workout.
then more 1m plank. I may work onmy legs today as well
(27/06/22): i was lazy to workout today but i did it anyway. same routine as yesterday and I'm sweating a lot. really worth it.
it's been already a month since I'm recording my progress and so far I can notice my abs showing up more present each week, plus, my confidence boosted a ton! I'll keep recording my progress.
(15/07/22): it's been a while since ive last updated but I'm still doing the workout! Everyday i do some sort of workout, wether it's only 10min abs or 20min full body exercise, so I haven't been following ONLY this workout vid, but so far, it's still one of the best for abs I know so far!
And I've been trying to keep up with it everyday, to the point I feel bad when I miss a day... I really changed
And talking about changes, my abs are showing up! They're not yet well defined and I'm still quite weak, but compared to 2 months ago, I really see the progress coming up, I'm really grateful for this and even proud of myself, and I'll keep doing this workout routine.
(13/08/22): Many things happened to me the last weeks: I cracked my phone's screen and got a knee injury while exercising my legs. A week ago I was trying to do a leg workout and my right knee just stopped working and I couldn't walk for 2 days.. it hurt a lot. But thankfully i didn't break anything. And now I am restarting my workout routine! But be careful guys when exercising with these videos, if you force too much you can get an injury.
(30/08/22:) another day of workout finished. I'm now also in a battle against insecurities and unmotivation, and trying my best to maintain a workout routine. Lately I've been working out about 4 days a week.
(01/09/22): first day of the month where i gave my all. Did this workout and in the middle of each set I also added 4 sets of 25 push-ups and squats (total of a 100 for both because I couldn't keep myself alive further). I'm sweating a lot, and it took about an hour for me to finish this. Looking foward tomorrow.
(06/09/22): it's been 3 days since I don't really work out, and I think this time was quite beneficial for me. I finished this workout once again and I can tell you I AM SEEING RESULTS! everytime I look myself in the mirror I can now see my abs starting to show more apparent each day. It still doesn't look like the 6 pack I want to achieve, but it's definetly something, and I'm very close to getting a 6 pack!
(07/09/22): I was very lazy today so I didn't feel like working out. But then i forced myself to it. Also today is Brazilian independence day (my country) so thats a fun fact for you
(11/09:22): finished another day, i didnt use my time the best few days and i didnt exercise at all, tiday i did this 10m workout.
(20/09/22): past week I had again a knee injury and just today I returned to work out. Also today is my birthday
(23/09/22): another day finished. Seeing some good progress
(26/09/22): just woke up and finished it
(01/10/22): today I did this exercise right after waking up. Because of my injured knee I replaced the 4th exercise to plank. I did 15 minutes of this workout today and every 2 exercises I also included some 20 push-ups, it was very very hard, but I've made it. Now when I look in the mirror I don't need to flex much to see my abs, they still need more work but I can see them! I still have weak legs too, and with my injured knee it's hard to follow a leg routine...
October 13th, 2022: it's been almost 5 months i've been recording my progress here and YES it works! My abs look way more defined than they used to back then, almost like a 6 pack. I went from skinny bones to starting to have muscles. I may stop recording my progress now, as i got used to this workout and so i got to change my routine, but i must say: i still could not find an intense and good abs workout for beginners as this one, it is by far the best abs workout i could find till this day.

I am a 21-year-old-beginner, and this is doable. For someone who exercises before but stopped, this is definitely for us to start working out again. Unlike other 'beginner' videos where I get exhausted and almost blacked out with a feeling of hyperventilating. This is great! I've been doing this for 5 days and I'm glad I can finish it like a pro this time 😂 and I am also doing a dumbbell workout, my muscles are not torn (just in the first 2 days).

That's the problem with these types of video. Beginner can be a lot different for so many people. Doesn't matter for how long you did first time. Just be consistent and do it regularly.

This may be a beginners work out but it’s a good beginners workout! It was easy enough that I was able to work my abs but it was hard enough that I was not able to do a few of the exercises completely; something for me to work up to! Thank you👍🏽

im a 16 year old boy, 65kg, 172cm tall.
day1: i struggled with the crunch's and flutter kicks, no psychical result
day2: did alot better then day 1, did not struggle with crunchs but did struggle to maintain the flutter kicks, body pains from yesterday were bad but in a good way. no psychical result.

Very inspiring and suitable for small apartment. There is something very believable about Mark and what he presents, achievable for any age.
I always try to do the 5 minute abs workout and I always stay halfway, these exercises although still a little hard were more manageable to do , thanks for thinking about us beginners, I see this is going to be a series, I hope there's something to start with push ups because I can't even do one push up haha, Thanks for the workout guys!
Same here, I can only do three push-ups then fall on the ground 😔 my arms became stronger thanks to Kick-box workouts of Allblanc but I still need to get stronger 🙏🏻
@@jacobk1505 I've been going with a health coach for the past 3 months I think, so my eating habits are way better than before, I've lost 8kg in total since I started, (probably a little more by now I haven't checked) and I started doing a few exercises he recommended me that lasted like 8 minutes, three times a week + walking 1 hour or more daily, but I wanted to start pushing myself a little more so I've been doing Allblanc home walking sessions + their tight tabata, now I'm adding this video because it was easier for me when I tried it. As for now I'm only 6kg above my maximum weight figured it was time to push for more haha
@@jacobk1505 I mean medics wouldn't go to school to study to be nutriologists if people can take advices from someone on youtube, you need to know your body, not everyone can eat the same things. And it's included in my health care so it's free.
@@karlarosas1424 First off, great you're seeking professional help too - there is a difference between a professional and your general youtuber. One of the biggest being that a hired professional can address your specific needs. Although content on health has increased a lot and there are quality youtubers, there are also many pseudo-professionals, show-offs and bro-science people around, of whom some advice can even be harmful.
On the initial push-ups question. Apart from consistency and patience .... you can try to start with the easier knee push-ups variant. It puts less overall work on your body and focuses more on the chest/arms/abs area where most beginners have their weak spots.

this is even harder than some "not for beginner" workout videos :)))))))) 10 minutes straight with no break is actually intense, but the exercises are easy to do and are very effective, since it's pretty intense :"), so yeah it's great. I think for those who are beginners like me should stop and take a little break in between the exercises and adjust to our strength over time so it won't be too hard to do.

"Easy Routine" when I tell you that this felt like 30 mins instead of 10 mins... but yeah I'm glad that I'm starting to exercise again

Also i like that it looks like he's also struggling and you can see him kinda breathing heavy after each one. Its surprisingly motivating to see someone fit but still have trouble. We're not alone! As a wise person once said: "we are potatos, but we will soon become french fries"
It looks like a great abs workout for beginners💯. I wonder if you have done already a standing abs workout 🤔. Unfortunately problems on my my back and coccyx turns difficult for me to workout abs on the floor. Nonetheless I will try this one. Thank you for your great work and dedication
Do it on bed. I don't like abs exercises on floor, too. Also, try to flatten your back (in the navel area).
In Bob and Brad channel, they explain better how the "floor" exercises are the best to back pain. They show this same exercises. Well the one touching ankles it's better to do as an oblique one (you go up and turn to one knee, go down, go up and turn to the other knee, go down and repeat).

One of the best I've seen so far, i can feel exactly where it's hitting unlike other "beginner workouts" where I can't even tell if it's working or not.
