    Hello Gamer Heaven,
I followed your instructions and came up with a few bumps which I solved and hope others will learn from my discoveries. Used the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 (4x16GB for 64GB total RAM). System: Alienware R14 Ryzen (AMD Ryzen 9 5900 (12-Core, 70 MB Total Cache, Max Boost Clock of 4.7 GHz)
So at first the PC would not even see the new RAM. I unplugged the power cord from the rear of the PC, removed the MB Battery, waited a few minutes then inserted the four sticks of RAM, then re-inserted the battery. This enabled me to get to the "BIOS has changed" screen. Here is where it deviates from your instruction...
After getting into the BIOS settings, I changed the "AUTO" setting to "CUSTOM", filled in the pertinent Frequency of 3600MHZ and set the power at 1.36V, clicked on "save and reboot". The machine shut down but NOTHING happened. No happy electrons flowing through semi-conductors, I mean NOTHING. The PC didn't even power up. Evidently it didn't like something in the new setup.
Unplugged from the PC, removed the MB battery, waited a few minutes, removed and reinserted the RAM, powered up and I had 64GB of RAM but running at 2100MHz. Went to REDDIT and found that the frequency needs to be divided by 2! On the BIOS settings, where you put in the Frequency of the RAM, use only 50% of whatever you're trying to upgrade to. In my case, I kept using 3600MHz and the machine didn't like it one bit. I read in another post here that you take the desired frequency and divide by 2. So I did that, used 1800MHz instead of 3600MHz and inserted the desired power of 1.36V, left the other settings at 0 (tCL, tRCD, tRP and tRAS) saved and rebooted. BAM!! Running at 3600MHZ with all four slots used!
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 (4x16GB for 64 GB of RAM) 1.36V

This helped a ton. To add to it, I found a Dell forum discussing memory overclocking & found this useful comment regarding the manual customization (for 32GB 3200MHz):
      “Memory Voltage: Manual
Adjust memory voltage value: 1.38V (If I do 1.39V, I think 3DMark crashed. I may try this again next time)
Memory Frequency: 1900Mhz (NOTE: I started at 1600Mhz, but is stable at 1900Mhz)
      Tcl: 14h Clk
      Tcdrd: 17h Clk
      Tcdwr: 14h Clk
      Trp: 14h Clk
      Tras: 32h Clk”
after setting these myself, I now have 3200MHz of RAM according to the Alienware control center. 3D Mark ran a benchmark just fine as well.

@@Duck0fDoom Hey I'm trying to upgrade my R10 to 2 16gb sticks of 3200, corsair vengeance brand. I had to use a custom setting to get it to recognize the 3200, but for some reason I cant get any clicks better than 22-22-22-56. i have the voltage set to 1.3v right now. Do I need to up the voltage or do you have any other ideas? btw - using OC1 / OC2 wont boot the PC... hence the reason I'm going custom. Also, the SPD when I checked CPU-Z says it should be 16-20-20-38-58 at 1.35v. Cant seem to manually put in 20's for Tcdrd/Tcdwr/Trp as it only goes to 19.

Hey Kevin, I just shucked my R10 this morning. Took out the 5950x, 6800xt, and the 2TB SSD and placed it into my tempered glass Corsair case with RGB fans from a previous build. Looks A LOT better than the R10 case and the cooling is WAY better.
I bought a Gigabyte Aorus X570 Master Mobo and a 1000 watt power supply as well as a Corsair H115i AIO to complete the build. Already had 32Gb of G Skill Trident RGB RAM at DDR4 3200mhz from my previous PC that I grandfathered in to this build. Threw in an old Soundblaster Audigy Rx for good measure to round things out with my speaker setup.
Stay safe with the tropical storm coming our way. Keep up the videos, they're great!

Pretty much did the same thing with my R10... Ryzen 5900, 1TB SSD & GPU from Alienware... Put everything into a Fractal Design Meshify C with an Aorus B550 Pro MoBo I got on as an open box special for $100. 32GB 3200Mhz T-Force RGB RAM. HOWEVER... not to long after that... I was able to snag an Aorus Master 3070 Ti for MSRP at launch... and to my surprise...but not really surprised... the Aorus 3070 Ti performs better than the Dell 3080 (Don't care about mining hashrate). My 3070 Ti boosts higher, runs cooler, is quieter and has consistently higher FPS. It is also more aesthetically pleasing in my case (LCD screen and RGB lighting). I flipped the Dell 3080 card on eBay for $1700 (hate me or not... but I needed to pay back Dell Financial Services for the credit I used to buy the Alienware).

I'm a little late to the party here, but I can speak on why people make a big deal of working on the Alienwares, which is that in the case of memory specifically, not all memory is fully compatible and may not reach full speeds. I literally just spent a couple hours scouring the internet to see what all is compatible, and the answers seem to be pretty inconsistent. Appreciate you doing this show and tell though. Helps to see the RAM you used and that it actually works in a real world scenario.

Plus I can get a 17% off employee discount :) to further my $$$ I am thinking of doing a certified refurbished, which would give me a 3080 system for about $1600. The only drawback would be if I added an extra fan and extra thermal paste on the GPU, I would be voiding a warranty on a refurbished PC

This guy does a great job of showing you how to get it installed and all but there are many and I mean many of us who did exactly what he did and are having issues. XMP seems to either cause no booting or complete instability when working. I had to put the ram sticks in slots 3 and 4 to work and turn XMP off all together to get stability and it to even boot. Issues I had were blue screen restarts, and games in playing instantly closing without a crash warning or even a freeze. I mean instantly on desktop. Tried it with many games, and all the same result. Turned off XMP and haven’t had any issues at all.

I am running 4 Sticks at 64GB and what a nightmare for 3600mhz though. It could be ok on your side but 11th Gen Intel you need to disable all ACC components (this causes RAM Error Loop) change the XMP Profile in BIOS with one stick. Reboot and shutdown, now wait 5 mins and take out the original stick and add one stick at a time, put all back together and reboot then should be good to go.

Well she installed them lastnight, PC booted fine, ran fine all night and she was stoked. Then Alienware had an update lastnight which worked an she shut down the PC until today. It would not boot an just got stuck in a memory error loop. Removed the new sticks an boom, booted no problem. Can someone help. I’m pretty much a noob at PC’s. So I bought the exact same ram (Vengeance LPX 2x16GB 3600 MHz) and installed as the video says. Pulled up the bios menu and I cannot enable overclocking and I am only getting a speed of 3467MHz. Also checked setting and it says 3467MHz. Anyone have any advice on how to fix this.

@@slooby2473 do you have the R12? On Dell website it says the motherboard can support ram speed up to 3400 only. So maybe that's why. I have R12 and bought the same ram as the video and also only got 3467. I believe there is a workaround to achieve 3600 but I personally wouldn't go for it as it seems to be a lot of work and risk for little improvement

No overclocking or XMP options on my R15 BIOS. ACC lets me overclock the GPU but no option available for the CPU or RAM. It was very easy to access and change.
