I like those gauges so much more than the OEM ones. Kind of wish I didn't opt for the extended warranty so I could do things like this. That warranty is going to go to waste if I mod my ST. lol
I got the extended warranty too but modded anyway, wasn't thinking at the time lol. but if you contact your dealership you can cancel the extended warranty, and depending on the dealership the remaining amount can either be sent to you or the bank.
mountune is a ford accredited aftermarket parts for exterior and interior supension new engines etc... and does not void warranty if you go through them.
False. As per the Warranty and Policy manual, components that are not installed from the factory are considered aftermarket. This includes Ford Performance, Roush, Mountune, etc. Granted if you have a component installed such as those listed by the dealer it is a lot easier to have repairs made under warranty. Also, you are referring to repairs not covered under warranty, not voiding. Voiding a warranty is a completely separate thing
Abendschein under the Magnusson-moss act, unless your mod is the exact reason why you need repairs or something broke, they can't deny you warranted repairs and service
Jake Flores ford has washed their hands of the real st’s refusing to fix pretty much anything it’s good to know a real independent mechanic or just fix shit yourself
@@isabelle.c011 To be fair, my 2018 had second gear go out about 6 months ago and they replaced all the synchros, not just 2nd. Gave me a 2020 fusion loaner too. Maybe it depends on the dealership?
@@Chrislav7 definitely makes a difference im sure im just saying they don’t even make cars anymore lol they don’t seem to care in my experience but i got a call the other day from ford saying i was overdue for maintenance and would need several thousand in maintenance that i did else where because i have a mechanic as a buddy
@@isabelle.c011 Yeah that is very true. When I dropped it off a salesman did catch me and try to sell me on a SUV ST or a Mustang. I did get the feeling like they werent too thrilled about the Focus anymore.. Luckily we have a robust aftermarket to fall back on, but I wonder how regular Ford Focus and fusion owners will find parts once Fords supply runs dry since they presumably won't be making replacements anymore?

1st gear clutch in hand brake up on gas keeping rpm up, light turns green, drop the brake off the clutch floor it

2nd. you burn out in 2nd at the track to get the wheel speed required to heat the tire, 1st wont spin the tire fast enough.
