Very fun video! I love this quick race and obviously being a owner of 2 ducati(panigale V4s 2019 and sfv4 2024) I’m happy for the win by ducati. Great video✌🏻
The start has always been the weakest point of a racer type bike. Still a computer controlled launch of a nearly 1000 hp Audi E-tron isn't enough to stop this Panigale.
@@MrMk82It isnt about weight alone. The audi is far more expensive and has 4 big tyres. There are even cheaper bikes and better bikes for a dragrace that have launch control.
@@MrMk82 use the real number… It was closer to 800 KHP as shown in the video…. The rider weighs 40% with the bike does, and also seriously lifts the CG. That makes it harder for the front wheel to stay down/rear wheel to apply power. no matter how you slice it that is one hell of an impressive motorcycle, and the rider is even more impressive!
The engineering to apply stability control & brake management systems on a vehicle with only 2 wheels is something to behold. That brake test is jaw dropping.
It's even more of a technological feat than you may know. That bike is equipped with an inertial measuring unit that knows how much the bike is leaned over, and how much weight is on each wheel and takes all that into account before applying TC and ABS, making sure to apply the correct amount for the bike's yaw, roll, and pitch.

ANOTHER THING I JUST REALIZED. The bike in this video is using the standard exhaust. There's an optional exhaust from Akrapovič that will make the bike in this video even more powerful and less heavy 😮
I don't think a V4R will be any faster in 1/4 mile. These bikes are all towards the limits of physics.
@@jellethegreatestwatch HAGERTY TH-cam channel. There you will find a race between Ducati panigale V4 SP 2 vs 1234 hp lucid air sapphire. And a professional rider josh herrin achieved the quarter mile time of 9.3 seconds. That bike had completely stock swingarm with slight tweaks to the suspension.
@@jellethegreatest What do you mean by "limits of physics", there's nothing to stop a bike with more power and less weight going faster than this.
@@4Kandlez yes... physics: you can't send more torque to the rear wheel than your weight/balance allows you to before you tip over. since 20+ years street legal superbikes are below the 3.0 second barrier to 100kph and since then they didn't break away from it very far.
I mean that's otherwise called cheating in a drag race but I don't think it had a significant effect.
I tip my hat to any car that accelerates ANYTHING like a bike. Great episode 👍🏻
Mat: This time we will go 3rd gear
Alessandro: You will lose 🗿
the ABS on ducati really doing a great job 😎🎉
Back in the late 1990s, I had a Ducati 916. Fun bike to ride, but nothing like today's newer Ducati bikes. Amazing bike and also Alessandro is an amazing rider!!!
carwow actually listened they put more camera angles and speedometers omg
Man this ducati is a real machine. Holy moly.
Watching the race part is impossible to not have a smile on your face!
I’m up at 4am on the toilet watching this 😭
EST lol 😂 same here
Cheeky 3 for 100;
dude, sit ON it, not IN it.
@@BlackLines to be fair people say in the toilet (when you know you know) 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That’s disgusting! 4am
Big respect to the rider, man. Great runs 🙏
This is not a drag race video...!! Matt is in secret performance testing a Ducati with and in an Audi !!!! This is cool !!!
As a bike rider im VERY impressed with the braking performance of the bike
My dad has a Audi RS E-tron GT and the acceleration is actually insane. Everytime he launch it in the highest performance setting we were glued to the seat so hard that I can't even move my neck forward.
Wow…. That Panigale is bloody impressive.
The brakes on the ducati🔥🔥
7:31 that "what" was a genuine question. 😂
Love that he clearly moved towards the Audi’s side to try and make use of any slipstream, if available. Great rider.
Haha! Man! I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I'd never seen a motorcycle rider use that maneuver against a car before. That was smart!
Then you see all the comments from the traffic light Motogp riders that say he is a bad rider 😂 atleast some know how good of a rider Alessandro is
Yianny would be pissed off by the Audi's 10second quarter mile😂😂😂
His revuelto would lose badly however a SF90 will win against this audi.
@@kestrel3509 of course
@@A_techYT Are u guys tripping?? Dis is clearly a better surface than those ones they use and the lambo also did 10 sec and fastest in carwow 9.9 dis Audi would lose badly in that same surface I don't know why u guys hate the lambo and Yianni just clearly ignoring the clear fact about a car performance which is determined by weather and surface the Audi is even slow because it is supposed to even get a better time due to a smooth surface that Audi would stand no chance against even a 911 turbo s
first of all i am talking yianny's particular revuelto which has a best time of 10.1second in carwow. I dont know about the surface but in every revuelto drag races yianni's car averaged 10.2 s and those races weren't on the same track so how could you just say its the track's fault

Your wall of text gave me a seizure. Exciting.
Sure 1khp, dont 4get its 2.5Tons as well..
Well, it was enough twice.
@@mediocreman2Yeah the biker screwed up big time. That's the only way the Audi could win.
RS6 GT SPOTTED 💥💥 4:05
Best carwow video iv watched to date. The cars amazing but that bike-wow!
Ohh wow there's more car Vs bike videos
Once that bike gets going, it's game over. To be honset, it looks really scary, LOL.
Volkswagen group knows how to advertise their new toys for 2025 😂
That "BMW" cough killed 😂😂😂😂😂
Lol again with his biases like Audi can cough about DRLs being first 😂
Matt trying everything possible to beat the Ducati 😂 that bike is a absolute weapon especially with that gentle riding it.
And still lost 😂😂
Yeahhhhhhh!
Superbikes!!!!!
When ducati finds it's rider,it's all over.
I’m surprised it was that close the Ducati is a beast .
The Audi did quite well for sure .
Thanks
And the excitement is incomparable ❤
Wow! I've never seen a bike so stable on launch and under braking. That was incredibly impressive. OMG!
Stable on launch because way to lame on throttle
One of the best races in the channel. Bring more industry's people, it is really interesting.
That Ducati roar is insane
lol with the stock EU exhaust on? look up the words "akrapovic" or "termingoni" on TH-cam.
Damn im just appreciating it bruh, why u being all antagonistic@@Christian-f2v
@@rador3573 It sounds like a sewing machine. I'm not the one for straight piped fully open exhausts, but the stock exhausts on most modern bikes sound like nothing. :D
This just made my day better!

Grazie per il vostro test, bellissimo! complimenti 🎉
I'm impressed by braking performance of the bike, wow!!!
What did the performance break exactly... your brain?!? 🤔
Unless you meant *braking* performance, in which case it would appear your brain was already broken...
@@rasro you know, some people actually speak other languages than english as a native language. Seems like you need to express the fact that you only know this language though...
@@rasro poor quality of joke, but apreciate it ;)
The braking on that Ducati might be the most impressive piece of tech I’ve seen on any vehicle.
Need to get Danny Pedrosa onboard the Ducati He's the master of launching motorcycles off the line 🏁😂
Well Done to Alessandro, still has some Big Balls to ride a V4 in anger like that with some quick thinking too. The only way for the car to win is to disadvantage the bike. The biggest win for the EV will be the Depreciation in 6 months it'll loose x2 what the bikes value is. However 2 Audi owned products going head to head. Know surprises that the bike was the overall winner in my opinion and that braking was immense too.
After seeing Danny Patrosa go head to head with a 2000HP rimac using a bike, ive been amazed at pro riders. Wow!
It's Pedrosa, ex HRC factory rider and KTM factory test rider.
Having owned a Ducati 1098S years ago, it was a fun a terrifying ride. This bike looks incredible. Testament to the Audi though, to accelerate that quickly, weighing 2.5 ton.
That Ducati walked by that RS like nothing... After a good launch!
