Lsd won't help unless he wants to push 400 hp/500 tq. Lsd mostly helps keep inside tire of a turn from going up in smoke. Won't help in a straight line much.
So have similar specs, 295hp and 375trq to the wheel with stock turbo, e-30 tune and bolt ons, just minus a freer flowing down pipe. Nice to see it hitting the 12’s.
Very cool. Hopefully I can add a few mods to mine to get me in the mid 13's. It's fun stock, so I can't imagine how much fun it is with what you've done. Great Job!
Nice 60' on drag radials! I know M&H and M/T have surpassed Hoosier's Drag Radials. 1.79 is getting it done man, you can find more, I know an SRT-4 on the same M/T's that has run 1.73 on those. 13 psi cold, but cranks the boost down in 1st gear to 5 psi to prevent wheel spin off the line.

17 x 8 Koing Intercepts. Found at America's Tire/Discount Tire for about $120 each. I ran two weeks ago at IFO in Bakersfield, I ran 13.14@102, 13.20@102 and 13.19@101.5 I need to fix my water injection because inlet temps are killing me.

Rear engine mount helps with wheel hop too
RMM is a must on these cars. Reduces wheel hop by 50%+
@adamneill9237 replace all mounts with stiff ones. Traction bar helps alot as well.
Minimal weight reduction??? NOT. ST3 models are 3330 lbs minimum. A base ST is 3219 lbs. You have power seats, sunroof, radio, leather Recaro. Rear seat removal and spare tire/jack are about 65 lbs total. Lighter small frt tires/wheels drop 20 lbs, and 5 gal of fuelinstead of 12, at 6 lbs per gal is 42 lbs less weight. So there's close to 115 lbs less. That's equivalent to freeing up 8-10 hp. It doesn't actually add power. Just like a intercooler pesnt add power, it just keeps what's stock, there during heated hit laps/ runs.
So how did you get rid of 200-240 lbs out of the ST? And DA had to be way below sea-level too.

@@gaz8577sure 3161 lbs for a base, base car with 50% fuel. Vehicles are weighed for production full of fluids and fuel. I had a base car, cloth sests no spare or jack which is about 45-65 lbs less at 3219 lbs with 50% fuel. With 2 gallobs I could see 3161.

Still got the car? I have a '16 ST and finally went stage 3 on it. Still only running Cobb's OTS tune (stage 3 93oct)... Its pretty fun..nice and rowdy with the CNT racing catless dp and catback. i was going to trade in for an RS but since I decided to mod it i'll hold onto it for a few more years. ST's and RS's are harder to come by now since they're no longer sold in the US (new). Congrats on the 12.7! thats pretty quick on a stock turbo FoST considering it takes a lot of practice to get the power down off the line...were you rev limiting/launching off 3200rpm or so?
Question what rpm are you shifting at ? And are you running a LSD
How much weight did you save by getting rid of the rear seats? I'm strongly considering taking mine out and the spare wheel.

Not surprising at all if you understand what your doing and can read. Steeda was doing 13.2@107 with I/DP/E and 93 tune on Nitto Drag Radials 3-4 years ago. CFM was doing 13.2's around the same speed with the same parts. My own car with E40 tune only on slicks runs 13.4@102. I now have a DP, Mountune intake & max stock wastegate pre-load. It should run similar times, I also have a surprise. You don't need a bigger turbo to run 12's
Exactly, Joshua, there's no way he's on stock tiny turbo in the 130 lb heavier ST3 fully loaded ST. I've seen a base ST with a GT28RS turbo upgrade put down the same 1/4 mi and speed, but with 330 whp, 385 whtq. With his few modds, no way he's dropping 2 full sec off the 1/4 time and running 11 mph quicker than stock. Takes at least 125 hp to cut mid 13's at 105 mph in these things, unless your in a low elevation with cold air, with low DA. Low DA is like adding free. Hp. He's got a slightly bigger turbo or nos. 24-25 psi boost, Or hybrid upgraded Oem turbo. But 300 whp is impossible on stock fuel system. 285 whp is the max, but he must be pushing it. No videos in awhile. I doubt the car runs anymore.
Micheal you are ST troll. Every time I see you you're making same negative comment just because you personally had much trouble with your car. 300 hp is possible on the stock turbo, the key is holding more boost. I wan 13.14 two weeks ago with the car pulling timing which is normally 25-26 degrees. It will run 12''s next time out and I'm gunning for Pilo's record. Like I said you don't need a large turbo to run 12's you need to stop going to the strip on street tires...
Lol full interior 350z hr's with the same power can do this as well. Z's are a couple hundred lbs heavier too.

Can't compare a 295 hp car with awd to this really. Focus ST are just slow. Back in 2013 they were quick compared to most. But today, 175 hp to 250 in other lighter and 400 lb heavier sedans are blowing the doors off ST's, especially stg3 modded ST's getting beat by a tune only SI and bmw 228/230/330/430/530/730, and E250/C250/300 mercedes, Audi A3 2.0 and 1.8T and A4. All just run past a ST with stage 2 or 3. Heck even big turbo St barely run low to mid 12's, but that's a full 2.5 sec to 3 second drop from stock. It's an econo-box with sporty manners. A Mazda 2 or 3 underneath.

KG Egzi main thing is the Rear motor mount. Low psi on the tires helps a ton too! Also be careful w the throttle

Thomas Oleson it did short after. Slapped new long block in and added turbosmart wastegate, went back to tuning with freektune and haven’t had a single problem after 3 years.

Pilo ST3 do they actually offer an e35 tune or is it an e30 and you just filled up with 35% instead of 30? i went on their website and only saw a e30 assuming just filled it up a bit more?

FYI: Your looking at about 3250 lbs, because a little added ST3 model is 3350 lbs. a base ST is 3225 lbs. the rear seats on,y weigh 15-20 lbs. p,us you have a huge speaker/woofer in right rear and power seats, full stereo, sunroof. Romoving the spare and jack drops about 40 lbs. and some material gone drops another 5-7 lbs. so that's 60 lbs. and, run with 1/4 tank of fuel and that's another 54 lbs less fuel. There's your weight loss. About 110-115 lbs. the small front tires are what did a lot of the work in running quick. A 2" smaller diameter wheel and tire than stock, has been shown in testing to decrease 0-60 mph by 1.5 sec in the same car. And reduce the 1/4 m by nearly 3/4 of a sec.
Actually, Your few modds will drop stock 1/4 times down from high 14's at 95-96 mph to about 13.8@101-102 mph. The tire change to something 2-3" smaller will drop another, near full sec off the 1/4 and add a few mph more. Cool air and low DA will also help a lot.
Crank tq over 330 is going to toast your clutch and motor mounts quickly. But 400 wtq, that's 450 crank. I think your hp is crank, not wheel.
Def no weight reduction, you have a ST3, which is 130 lbs heavier than a base ST.

How can you call a minimal weight reduction when your listed weight is 3100 lbs in a ST3 that is 3340 lbs stock? 200 lb weight drop is HUGE, not minimal. You had to rip all the seats out but the drivers, no spare & jack, under 1/4 tank of fuel, light weight wheels, light battery, no interior, no nav, no stereo, and then you'd still be around 3200 lbs.
My car runs 13.1 with all the seats in, spare out. What is your problem?
