- In honor of the completion of the first episode of our new live stream series, Splitsville, we had Andy Williams (Every Time I Die) and Adam McGrath (Cave In) sit down and discuss the experience and what their bands mean to each other.

Two Minutes to Late Night presents Splitsville: a new recurring live stream where we get two bands we love to cover a song from each other’s catalog. It's a homage to the classic 7" cover splits nerds have to own but with two kick-ass music videos to go along with it.
This first Splitsville was between Massachusetts space rock legends Cave In and Buffalo hardcore party kings, Every Time I Die. The stream featured Cave In covering Every Time I Die and Every Time I Die covering Cave In with videos of the quality you come to expect from Two Minutes to Late Night PLUS exclusive crossover merch for both bands you can only buy during the 24-hour stream.

I somehow missed the boat on Cave In back in the day, and I've been a big fan for like 4 yrs now after finding you guys on Spotify. Been a ETID fan for yrs. Youth Overrided is ABSOLUTELY my Fav Cave In song. It's actually one of my top 5 fav songs of ALL TIME, which means I was SUPER critical of a cover of it. And you guys covered it FLAWLESSLY. Love both your bands, you guys mean ALOT to some of us. I'm disabled due mainly to mental health and PTSD trauma, and music is a HUGE HUGE part of what keeps me stable. You all are always there for some of us when we are at our worst and songs like Youth Overrided has some very special one of a kind feel that actually chokes me up, it's odd. I have no personal attachment to it but it FEELS like I do. Anyways, Adam, where did you get the Hoover shirt? I LOVE that record. Not many people know about them. Anyways, thanks for this..

it was a total surprise to me, ETID I think couldve done anything, Trepanning or Dark Driving wouldve been sick, but I think Adam was right, ETID stuff is mostly fast so there was only so much to choose from, Revival Mode wouldve been another cool one, andy gets excited over the weirdest shit tho lol its ridiculous
