Two Minutes to Late Night presents Splitsville: a new recurring live stream where we get two bands we love to cover a song from each other’s catalog. It's a homage to the classic 7" cover splits nerds have to own but with two kick-ass music videos to go along with it.
This first Splitsville is going to be between Massachusetts space rock legends Cave In and Buffalo hardcore party kings, Every Time I Die. The stream will feature Cave In covering Every Time I Die and Every Time I Die covering Cave In with videos of the quality you come to expect from Two Minutes to Late Night PLUS exclusive crossover merch for both bands you can only buy during the 24-hour stream. Also, their song choice will remain a mystery until the premiere of the stream - even from each other!

I'd never really considered this but after watching this I revisited some of ETID's early catalog and the Cave In influence is very apparent. You love to see (hear?) it.

I remember that From First To Last, Cave In, Every Time I Die, and From Autumn To Ashes tour. Saw it come through Pomona at the Glasshouse. I've gone to almost every ETID show since that's come through SoCal.
holy smokes! What a show. Any other epic Glasshouse shows from your memory? I saw Pierce the Veil (unknown band at the time) open for Emery and Chiodos at the glasshouse in 2005 and that was nuts.
@@silkbutter I think I was also at that show! One of my all-time favorite shows from the glasshouse had to be Glassjaw and RX Bandits. Only two bands on an epic bill.
Same, till 2016, and since then I've seen every Seattle and San Diego stop. Seems to happen right when I fly down to kill bluefin tuna.

I remember seeing that tour and being up against the stage. Still one of my favorite shows of all time. My 1st and definitely not last ETID experience, and Cave-In may still be the loudest band I've seen. Fond memories of those days

Keith Buckley is the nicest and funniest dude ever. I live in Buffalo and I've gotten to see them many times it's been awesome watching them get so good and so huge. They are like royalty here.
I got to Buffalo for Shitmas every year.....It's become one of my favorite cities in the world!
I've always felt like there should be new judgment night sound track. With current hip hop and metal/hard-core bands. Was such a rad crossover album. That in bizarre ways showed the similarities. It would be great thing for the divisive time now. Just to show the similar backgrounds with similar outlets
