I saw the link on the silver play plaque film and followed it. I am glad I did. The years have been kind to you and the presenting even on day one was pretty slick apart from the welcome back opening. The hair dryer and straightener was quite funny maybe also a bit jealous as my lack of hair now makes these items obsolete in my life. I look forward to watching your channel growing exponentially.

Great review, in fact it was that good it tipped me over the edge and I went and traded in my Cooper S hatchback and bought a Cooper S roadster from my local dealer. I have to say the difference in the 2 is amazing, the drive feels completely different, you wouldn't believe there were almost the same car, needless to say I've fallen in love with this car, you can't beat getting out on country lanes in sport mode with the roof down and the sun shining ! Just got to find a name for her now ! :)
Chris that is great to hear. I'm a huge fan of the Roadster. Sad they don't make them any more but I think that means we have a future classic on our hands ! You've gotta give her a name. They have such huge personality ! There is a great Mini Roadster Owners group on Facebook. Look it up and I'll see you on there ;-)
All great videos, just subscribed as I own a Mini Cooper S Roadster but just a standard one which I bought three weeks ago now just waiting for the nice weather to get the top down and hear that exhaust in sport mode, your JCW example is superb and as you I am 6"3" and have no trouble with leg or headroom but being rather fat I look like a drunk hippo getting in and out!!!!!! Keep these great vids coming.

Nice review. My previous car was also a TTS, and after ten years of test drives I keep coming back to the mini. Can you let me know your reasons for the roadster so I can see if they are the same reasons as mine please? cheers
Hi Ashley. A friend of mine had one and that brought them to my attention. I am a big fan of convertibles but not so much the Mini convertible as the boot is tiny and it looks like a pram when the roof is down !!! The Roadster on the other hand has a huge boot and the roof folds under a nice tonneau. I was sold when I went for a test drive. Not as quick as the TTS but such a characterful drive. I love they way Ruby pops and crackels and when you turn off the traction control off she turns into a real pocket rocket !
I nearly bought a cooper S around 10 yers ago. Ive had BMW 320i (I KNOW!), then an SLK350, then a brand new lotus elise, then a TTS and........I ALWAYS come back to the mini.
Completely and totally your fault that even though I have ordered a new Clubman, I am looking at a JCW 2013 Coupe, a 2015 Roadster JCW and the most beautiful robin egg's blue 2013 Roadster S.....and I am going to be within 2 hours of the the blue one next week....ALL YOUR FAULT, well and they remind me of my Audi Roadster (I refuse to sell a 16 year old BMW to purchase a 20 year old AUDI and then I watched your videos with Ruby)

Yes a wash it myself. I just use Turtle Wax products as I've always found them to work well. I'm always wary of cleaning the engine bay too.
