Oh, so happy that I get a new Chris Do video♥️ Continuing to go back through the previous videos every day there isn’t a new one, I get the opportunity to still learn!! Thank you, Chris and The Furtur Team🤟🏽
I agree with this 100% but Chris a business question is how do you manage your hires if per say don't give have passion for your business or only give 10% of productivity. What would you do retain them for help or you will let them go? Talent or passion?? Efficiency or more employees?
It's very hard (impossible) to implement those rules to low-to-mid range level clients. It can be executed on larger companies, but 90% of graphic designers are pretty much screwed. And those on lower end get replaced by Canva or work for pennies
@thefutur well, thats what I'm saying. Once you get good enough you can get better clients with budget for marketing and willingness to invest in self promotion. And to be fair not every entreprenuer should invest tens of thousands of dollars in marketing f.e. a small local flower shop. If you want to get good/big/well paying projects you need competence so you can actually help companies make money. Often times it requires competence in different skills so you need a team of people and either you're a part of such team or you make your own. So yeah, most designers that are not really up to the task yet are pretty much screwed because they must focus on microbusiness. Not to mention the fact that US is enourmous and has like what 500mln citizens? I bet you can find a business you can help easier that suits your current skill level, than if you live in Poland for example (37mln).
Also what are you thoughts in a situation of being efficient and being punish with more work? ,when others give less and therefore give them less work? How you handle this talks?
During the opening sponsor message it sounded like he was. I've never heard them have a sponsor before, so he'll probably get better, though I hope it's a rare thing.
At the end of the day, Chris and his team are creators and educators, not entertainers. While he can do many amazing things, he's still human. Presenting on camera when you're introverted isn't the most natural thing. Cut him some slack.
its astonishing the number of business "leaders" I come across who don't know basic stuff like this. People who operate like this are very rare

That's a story you're telling yourself... Change your mindset, start asking how can I get better clients to be able to do this.

If you do more than others, management will give you more work but they will also promote you. More responsibility should equal more pay n
Great perspective
