This is where my confidence lies, I know most are not actually genuine also walking in the image of God not by choice. I care about ppl bc I know what it’s like for ppl not to actually care, not a good feeling bc you can feel it.

I used to have an aversion to sales, but Chris, you changed my mindset. I've never heard someone teaching sales this practical, genuine and beautiful at the same time
@thefutur, I can relate to a lot of the things. I was in a sales position as my first job. The products were very crapy and it was just a start for me. I observed that the store had very little sales, and then I did the opposite of what my colleagues did. I listened more and empathized with the customers and I was one of the best salespeople in that store in a few week's time.

I called it 'Watch Again...' because that is how rarely I find a video containing valuable information and presented in a way that makes me feel like to lose it would negatively affect my life. Thank you for sharing this. The quality of this presentation, from the information shared, to the way it is supported with the simple, yet bold, clean, modern design of the infographics, to the way you speak, is truely a work of art. It incorperates many of the pieces I've recently identified, expands my understanding and gives me actionable steps to move forward with a process I understand to connect with clients in a more meaningful way. I will be watching much more of your content and am interested to see what kind of an impact this has on my business.

The last strategy you shared makes the most sense ever. Always knew that was a great way to catch ppl attention but if YOU KNOW your value, you know it will repay bc you’re providing service. As people of God, that’s the easiest way to recycle as it comes back every trip!

The right people will naturally gravitate towards you and those who are not right for you will naturally drop off. It’s being able to let go of those who aren’t match for you who you otherwise would have closed but wouldn’t have a good experience working with.
I love the acronym SALES. It echoes Steven Covey’s 7 habits. Ask = Being proactive. Serve/Listen/empathise = seek first to understand then be understood

Wow. This speech is straight out of the book "Never split the difference" Its about a hostage negotiator who saw great success, who then later started his own company, teaching people how to negotiate business. I recommend the book, its cheap and filled with advice like this. And honestly i recognised more than a few, like they were taken straight from the book, word for word. Good speech & good book
I’ve read the book. This isn’t from the book. Word for word. It’s not scripted. So that would be hard to do. When referencing the book it is cited in the slides.
No offence meant, it just caught me by surprise how similar your wording is to said book, with the "that's right" and "late night FM dj voice" @@thefutur I enjoyed the book, and the speech, so I'm looking forward for more! : )
What fucks it up for a lot of salespeople is that they're in a position of selling someone else's product, pitching someone else's pitch. They have no integral say in the quality of the product but have to pretend as if they truly vouch for it. It starts them off on the wrong foot, from a position of deceit. The best 'sales' exchanges happen more organically in more neutral communication frames where there isn't as much unnatural pressure.
I learned this kind of sales first and looking back it made better having to start off selling something I didn’t know. It just gave me more confidence when I clued in to start selling for my self years later! You’re so right tho! It was tough and I didn’t even realize till after. All scripts and I didn’t really believe in the product!

It’s not scripted. So that would be hard to do. When referencing the book it is cited in the slides.

What fucks it up for a lot of salespeople is that they're in a position of selling someone else's product, pitching someone else's pitch. They have no integral say in the quality of the product but have to pretend as if they truly vouch for it. It starts them off on the wrong foot, from a position of deceit. The best 'sales' exchanges happen more organically in more neutral communication frames where there isn't as much unnatural pressure.
I learned this kind of sales first and looking back it made better having to start off selling something I didn’t know. It just gave me more confidence when I clued in to start selling for my self years later!
You’re so right tho! It was tough and I didn’t even realize till after. All scripts and I didn’t really believe in the product!
The product or the message should be the most important to be reached it during the communication process of any kind.
