Congrats, sir! You're helping inspire me. I've had a lot of setbacks in my journey to trying to become a nurse. I think LPN might be the route for me, otherwise, I'm going to give up and become a Teacher or maybe study Accounting. Whatever I choose, it's not too late, at any rate.
@@nyneegardner6235just stay prayerful in your walk. No one’s journey is the same but be encouraged that you can do whatever you desire in God. I had a long journey as well with many obstacles and many days of wanting to give up before overcoming. Take it day by day and you’ll look up one day and be there!! Good luck!
Great video and intel. I'm retirement law enforcement, and my mom was a registered nurse for 55 years. Nursing is not the most dangerous field out there. Spend 21 years in law enforcement, and you'll know what I mean. Especially now a days. Im 55 and starting the LPN program in the fall. It's going to be one of the biggest challenges of my life. Im actually looking forward to it. I've been going to school on and off for years now. Luckily, I have all my pre-requisites already done.
Statistics from the Federal Department of Labor shows that nurses encounter greater violence than law enforcement and are more likely to experience non-fatal injuries from violence than any other profession. This isn’t even counting the pathogens 🦠 nurses can pick up from patients or just by being in the setting.
