Nurse leadership is the most rewarding way to work 60+hrs/week in nursing. I can use PTO from a salaried position to pick up as a Nursing Supervisor at a second job. Obviously lucrative, but the lessons and the personal development you get working with other leaders in nursing can progress you on a career ladder.
Yup the exercise and diet is key..even if I have only 20 min I get on my elliptical machine at home and get busy. You can’t eat ribs and soda and work like this…
Hi! I love your videos. Question, I just signed on for 3 12s at my local hospital (psych), but also may be considered for a travel contact 3 12s. Both Night Shift (psych). Do you think it’s possible to do 13 weeks straight? I’m doing this to pay off my car and apartment. ( most I used to work was 3 12s Night Shift + 5 8hrs in one week totaling 76 hours) I feel like because I was able to work like this for awhile, I’d be good. However, I just wanted another’s nurses point of view on working two jobs 6x 12s in one week for 13 weeks 🥲.
