After the third guy came in sharing that horrible message (all in that same day) my boss had to put up signs about how hate isn't tolerated, and if you couldn't share love, then stay silent.

I once took medication that made me extremely sensitive to light. I had to wear shades everywhere and people probably thought the same of me but the truth is we don't know what's going on with people and it's really none of our business. Hell yeah... By single friends give the best advise. They remind me of the standards and not to get caught in an environment where you start self-sacrificing, self abandoning, and self neglecting, for the sake of the relationship. My single friends are happy by married friends are miserable. I found my husband because I listen to the advice of my single friends. I follow the advice of a woman who never wants to get married. The Pearl thing is wild. I am a woman who makes fairly good money, and I've dated a couple men who I made way more than or who were unemployed. Honestly, while some women *absolutely* do date men in part for their money, most women (especially those who are doing financially fine) don't. That said, in my experience, women *are* nervous to date men who make less than them - but it's not about the money, it's about that we live in a society that expects men to be the main breadwinner and where many men expect to be the main breadwinner in the relationship - and not all men handle the reversal of income brackets well. I don't give two shits what my partner makes - I make enough for us to both happily live on even if he makes nothing - but I do want a partner - someone who respects me and wants to work with me to build a life. I don't expect a man to be a "stay at home husband" if he works just because he works less - if he likes his job and wants to keep doing that I support it (and that income is still adding to the partnership) - hell, even if it's volunteer - if it's his passion I still support it, so this isn't about "if I am the main breadwinner I want him to be in the kitchen". But around 50% of the time when I date men who make less than me what I get is a partner who doesn't help with the cleaning, cooking, or laundry at all then complains to me about how me making more makes him feel but who has no space to listen to how the situation makes me feel - or who tries to sabotage my job so that I make less or get fired. They still want to talk like they are making $50 mill per year and like I'm some gold-digger (including talking *to me* like that), they still want to sit on the couch drinking beer and not lifting a finger when they come home from work - it's not that they don't give up their own financial independence or passions to be a stay at home husband (I don't want that) it's that they completely refuse to give up an Andrew Tate worldview - but now I'm footing the bill for it. Most women don't want to risk that, and are going to be nervous to date a guy who makes less until they make sure you're not that sort of guy. but Pearl's entire audience *is* that sort of guy, she's a pick me for that sort of guy...so it's fascinating that she set a price point on that. So she's basically saying how much you would need to pay her to listen to Andrew Tate quotes at 3am about how she contributes nothing to the house she paid for. And she only picked 40-50k per year? Damn girl I wouldn't do that for less than 50mil.

I'm 5'5" and have dated guys who were my height, even slightly shorter, but even dudes who are 5'9" think they are "short.") The man's height is not a problem for me! My wife came with debt, not a lot, but a little bit, she had a car, but I had a house (you don’t need a car in London, I just rented a car when I needed one) on the plus side, she was smart, funny, cute and sane and we’ve been married over 30 years. I now give my son one piece of advice when it comes to girls, sanity is an extremely underrated quality. My second hand experience tells me stress and drama, shortens your life and empties your wallet no matter how much you had to start. So sanity first, then smart, funny, cute, money, etc, etc, are bonus qualities. Also, having money is not a quality in a person, because you don’t sleep, cuddle or chat with money, unless there’s something wrong with you.

I once took medication that made me extremely sensitive to light. I had to wear shades everywhere and people probably thought the same of me but the truth is we don't know what's going on with people and it's really none of our business. Didn't stop people from looking at me weird which I thought was weird. That's when I realized judging someone for wearing shades indoors was the dumbest thing ever.

Hell yeah... By single friends give the best advise. They remind me of the standards and not to get caught in an environment where you start self-sacrificing, self abandoning, and self neglecting, for the sake of the relationship. My single friends are happy by married friends are miserable.

The Pearl thing is wild. I am a woman who makes fairly good money, and I've dated a couple men who I made way more than or who were unemployed. Honestly, while some women *absolutely* do date men in part for their money, most women (especially those who are doing financially fine) don't.
That said, in my experience, women *are* nervous to date men who make less than them - but it's not about the money, it's about that we live in a society that expects men to be the main breadwinner and where many men expect to be the main breadwinner in the relationship - and not all men handle the reversal of income brackets well. I don't give two shits what my partner makes - I make enough for us to both happily live on even if he makes nothing - but I do want a partner - someone who respects me and wants to work with me to build a life. I don't expect a man to be a "stay at home husband" if he works just because he works less - if he likes his job and wants to keep doing that I support it (and that income is still adding to the partnership) - hell, even if it's volunteer - if it's his passion I still support it, so this isn't about "if I am the main breadwinner I want him to be in the kitchen". But around 50% of the time when I date men who make less than me what I get is a partner who doesn't help with the cleaning, cooking, or laundry at all then complains to me about how me making more makes him feel but who has no space to listen to how the situation makes me feel - or who tries to sabotage my job so that I make less or get fired. They still want to talk like they are making $50 mill per year and like I'm some gold-digger (including talking *to me* like that), they still want to sit on the couch drinking beer and not lifting a finger when they come home from work - it's not that they don't give up their own financial independence or passions to be a stay at home husband (I don't want that) it's that they completely refuse to give up an Andrew Tate worldview - but now I'm footing the bill for it. Most women don't want to risk that, and are going to be nervous to date a guy who makes less until they make sure you're not that sort of guy.

So she's basically saying how much you would need to pay her to listen to Andrew Tate quotes at 3am about how she contributes nothing to the house she paid for. And she only picked 40-50k per year? This is simply not true. If we see most women marrying up(in every statistics), you've come to the conclusion that's because men do not seem to take being low in anything than a woman well. This simply means majority men are like that. But by that logic, men worrying about getting a gold digger for a spouse means women are gold diggers. You don't see how you've generalised doing exactly what you shame men for. You or most marrying up is just that, you and most women marrying up. My wife came with debt, not a lot, but a little bit, she had a car, but I had a house (you don’t need a car in London, I just rented a car when I needed one) on the plus side, she was smart, funny, cute and sane and we’ve been married over 30 years. I now give my son one piece of advice when it comes to girls, sanity is an extremely underrated quality. My second hand experience tells me stress and drama, shortens your life and empties your wallet no matter how much you had to start. So sanity first, then smart, funny, cute, money, etc, etc, are bonus qualities. Also, having money is not a quality in a person, because you don’t sleep, cuddle or chat with money, unless there’s something wrong with you.
