I was diagnosed at least 3 times with Covid. I believe I had it back in February 2020, I remember going to urgent care with all the symptoms and they said it was a virus. I have been dealing with alopecia for awhile now, I wish I would have stuck to getting no relaxers back in 2005 after having our twins.
I have loss in the front of my hair. I remember someone saying in a video that it’s an internal issue. I started juicing more, and I have been eating salmon 2 times a week and eating more greens. I remember loosing plenty hair after finding a lump in my breast, praise God for healing from breast cancer. We have so many trials and tribulations in our lives, but God is our ultimate HEALER!!!

I’m surprised I missed this video. Once again your commentary is concise, medically proven and relevant. I take 2k IU of D3, MSM, B-Complex, 420mg Magnesium Citrate, Zinc and a few other things. The D3 and MSM were game changers. The Magnesium helps me sleep which relieves stress. In 6-8 mos I’ve seen significant improvementt in my crown and overall hair growth. Thanks for the info.

Hello, wonderful knowledge. Thank you for all your research.
I was diagnosed with Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia after being diagnosed with CCCA for several years. The Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia came from inflammation. My dermatologist did not promise me my bald spots would fill in, but I am hopeful. She did said, we can work to keep the hair I do have and stop the inflammation from spreading. The new dermatologist did a biopsy of my scalp. She is a woman of color. I now have a treatment plan. I take Doxycycline Hyclate twice a day. I also use Clobetasol Propionate Ointment 0.05% twice a day on my scalp. I am praying for great results. I feel so much better now that I have a real diagnosis. 🙂
I apologize for the long comment. 🙂

I had COVID that lasted a good 12 days. I thought I was fine until I began to notice a loss of more hair than normal. After doing some research, I am realizing it’s from the stress my body had during that time period and also the shampoo I had been using. So I started doing yoga and meditation daily and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextrraa coooconion anti hair fall kit. And today i dont face any hairfall.

Hi, Thank you, this is very informative. I'm not aware of any sensitivities/Allergies. But my scalp has been Tender and burning for almost 5 years. Dermatologist don't see anything wrong on my scalp. But they prescribed a Shampoo that I use weekly. And a cream- I don't use it after reading about the side effects. The shampoo calms down the scalp for 3-4 days and then the burning pain will start again. No hair loss so far but my hair seems slow growing and thinner in the painful areas. I hope to find a solution.

For me, I had put too much oils and it eventually stripped out my hair and caused inflammation. My crown is still growing the care back but it’s taking awhile.
The good thing is, it looks normal in low light, but as soon as I put a flash on it or the sun is super bright it’s visible. My hair now is about where your 2021 was.. I never got to 2020.
I never did go to the dermatologist luckily so I don’t know if it was ccca

I was diagnosed about 5 yrs ago with CCCA.
I noticed my inflammation is related to my sensitivity to dairy. I actually learned that by looking up adult acne. I eliminated it and acne went away.

I ended up in the hospital because these weird bumps appear on my skin and my lips was swelling up. Turns out that I am allergic to many of the plant base products along with allergic to certain food, spices, plants, and animals. When I used my hair care product, I have red bumps appear on the scalp and burning sensation. I stop using those products and my allergy doctor told me that whatever was in those hair care products I am allergic to as well. Because I been using those products for so long, the front of the hair started to thin out and large amount of hair have been falling out. I stop using all hair care products that I know would cause me irritation on the scalp. My hair is slowly coming back, but now it is hard to find any products that would soften my hair and style it along with hiding my thinning/bald spots.

I wanted to ask the ones which did have a thooth infection does it always have to hurt and the ones which did experience hairloss because of it, was it hairloss everywere or just on one spot ? I hear you and understand how challenging it may be at this time. Since I am not a licensed professional, my content is limited to sharing what I'm learning on this journey. For more detailed support from a professional, I recommend checking out @KarenofCurlHouse and @NinaRossAtl. They are both licensed trichologists and specialize in treating CCCA. Praying for you!

What can you do if your in the late stages of ccca of the crown, I’ve been suffering for over 10 years

This is a great question and since I'm on a similar journey and not a licensed professional, I'm not able to provide specific instructions. However, I can recommend seeing a dermatologist or trichologist (if not already being done) to get lab work and a full assessment to help identify root causes and treatment options. There's a CCCA facebook group: facebook.com/groups/328819847928969/?hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen&multi_permalinks=1544978112979797 and there a lots of women sharing their journey, tips, resources, as well. Will be praying for you!

As mentioned above, since I'm not a licensed professional, I'm not able to provide specific diagnosis or instructions. However, I definitely recommend seeing a dermatologist or trichologist. @@nourishyourcrown thank you any advice on how to get the hair growing again once inflammation controlled ?

    • @nourishyourcrown
      @nourishyourcrown  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

That's a great question. I believe the things that have worked for me have been the same things that helped get it under control: anti-inflammatory foods, rest, reduce excess sugar, stress management, exercise, washing regularly (I wash and condition every 5-7 days), keeping hair moisturized, and time. The other important factor might be to work with a derm or trichologist to assess the hair follicles.

@@nourishyourcrown last question do U think it will be possible to be to get dread locks that aren’t really big while it under controlled ?

Another good question! Personally, I would check with my dermatologist or a trichologist to assess the health and strength of the scalp before getting any type of braids, locs, etc.
