I think people think that there is no differences in disc weight or flight characteristics. The disc weight matters on the release of the disc. There is a big difference in a 160g to a 175g disc. The disc will snap out of your hand faster with lighter weight disc. That is were you feel the weight difference its on the release. You also do not want your disc to land hard left on the end of the flight. Your disc should always land forwards on the end of the flight, you can lose 30 feet if disc lands on a hard hyzer.
