just as advice in the future, SC1 tanks are not always better sieged. for large targets it is often better to keep them unsieged for the mobility since all you lose is splash damage.
I think sc1 medics have an incredible advantage over sc2 medivacs which is they are EXTREMELY hard to single out of a bio mass, while medivacs are super easy to single out... not to mention the fact that they can fly right over all your units means plays often end up sending them face first into the enemy.

Players could pick a flavor of the race that fits their playstyles better, and mirror matches would potentially be a lot more different.
I hope this takes off. I’d love to see custom games like this get into a real production type setting and maybe even see some hybrid sc1/sc2 tournaments. Are all the same upgrades and tech researches available for the SC1 units? Didn’t look like Zurvan had the speed upgrade on his hydras in that game. Looks like he didn’t know he had to morph his creep colony’s into sunkens haha
It's wild to see Lowko, Winter and others covering this mod, I bet it'll get more eyes in the next few weeks/months! As far as I know the tech should all be the same with some minor balance tweaks, but I'm not familiar enough with the mod yet to know for certain. Casting more casual games was actually the initial idea for my channel! I always loved watching casual games because they were more representative of what I would see on the ladder, but now we have it with mods 😂

i feel like banelings would have been insane vs the bw terran bio. they dont have medivacs to just pick up and disengage, the best thing sk terran can do is stim and split and pray their targetfire is good enough
if i was the sc1 player i would be using the hell out of the spellcasters. SC1 spellcasters are insanely broken, particularly the ghost. lockdown is just a crazy ability to have

I hope Blizzard gets it right and supports this one, it could revive the SC community and bring strategy games back to the fore. Using all these units from SC1 and SC2 is great, just make them different factions, it would be awesome. As well as making coop versus competitive as well. Let's hope Blizzard does NOT drop the ball on this one like they did with DOTA 1, back on the days of Warcraft III.
SC1 looks amazing and brings back so many memories, one of the best things is they've brought the blood back to the animations, in SC2 everything goes black once a unit dies, it's so boring.

Zurvan isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Could just make a missle turret since he already should make engineering bay for his bio upgrade. Edit: Didn't notice he was floating 5k resoruces so he is just new and not dumb lol.

Hey! That Marine has 45 health! Does it mean that firebats have bad reaction like in Starcraft 2? Are wraiths overpriced, slow and weak like in Starcraft 2 too? Would be interesting if Starcraft 2 player had access to Diamondbacks.. Oh wait they have Cyclones which are just better in everyway. Starcraft 2 is weird.
It's amazing seeing that even SC1 marines can still be really strong against zerg units. They're so much weaker and yet perform their role perfectly well.
@@hiei49well we dont how armor work in this mod but the SC1 siegtank deal 70 damage to all the unit and 50 % of that in aoe making it hit must harder than the SC2
I guess the overmind zerg is a lot more stronger than the one that evolved and adapted after he died I definitely would love to see a starcraft 1 zerg take on a starcraft 2 terran and see them steal and infest their command centers

Attacking a marine to take out burrowed zerling does not work. CC is huge and you dont know where exactly is that zerling, so you need to waste multiple marines for one zerling.
10:20 sieging the tanks in that situation was actually a bad play. SC1 tanks are different from SC2. they do not get any damage boost from sieging. the only difference is splash damage. unsieged tanks are actually really strong against roach/ravengers here

Its 70, but they are quite cheaper (150/100 and 2 supply iirc)

Yeah that's a great point, would be way more cost effective to build a missile turret and get detection, or throw down a scan from the comsat station
