All it takes is for the pairing to happen and that one player who is lucky to be ignored and remain unmolested will be able to snowball the others who are weakening themselves. Toss actually threw that by not being mindful with his gas as well as that second to the last clash they had where he kept fighting under dark swarm. Honestly he was actually in a great spot had he kept making more production structures and constant expansion but it's typical when you see over 10k minerals you get complacent thinking you can max out again.

I am not watching this in order since I found these Scion races vids only recently, but from all I`ve seen the Kayron race seem quite imbalanced compared to other 2 plus the vanila factions and including some other custom races. Inducers having same range as stationary siege tank while being fully mobile AND can fire at air targets as well is a huge, massive red flag in terms of balance. Though I guess it might have been adjusted as I dont recall them being soo absurd in other videos (as I mentioned, I am watching these out of order probablu).

I believe the balance doesn't need to be adjusted. Instead, Warcraft should have an economy similar to Warcraft's. Let all their advantages remain, but there should also be all the disadvantages. In Warcraft, the maximum unit cap is 100, and there’s a tax system: if you exceed 50 supply, you receive 30% fewer resources, and if you exceed 80 supply, you receive 60% fewer resources.

With a quick glance, it does make sense for me that the "infested Protoss" faction is really just Zerg taking over Protoss machinery, battlesuits, and structures in the same vein as with Terran infastructure. The Protoss species themselves may not be able to be infested, but their mechanical stuff certainly can. (Unless they too fall under the anti-infested clause an I didnt know about it beforehand). Edit: Oops, my bad for confusing Last Protoss with Xill. Thats on me.

actually infested protoss was deprecated because the mixture of zerg and protoss is hybrid, but I feel it is fine to have infested protoss mach-unit where the protoss operator inside is dead and zerg takes the control😂 cool idea

One notable thing about Xill is that they also don't research upgrades - instead each of their units have to be upgraded individually. It's instant, but it does make their units more expensive. Only protoss units are upgradeable, zerg units are mostly there to be chaff for the hard hitters. You might have also noticed that newly built xill protoss units are a bit slow. That's a "New Born" mechanic - newly made xill units still need a minute to acclimate to hybridized bodies, so they are much slower in the mean time. You have an upgrade to reduce this period, plus robotic and zerg units don't have to deal with it. Xill's biggest problem is their total lack of good air power. It took some arm twisting for them to get *one* combat able flier at the end of their tech tree, and the other two are a difficult to use caster and a carrier that flings scourges (anti-air) and can spawn banelings (anti-ground), but becomes an overpriced flying paperweight once it's out of scourges and banelings go on a (lengthy) cooldown.

Cool mod even tough race are really unbalanced, i play this mod and infested protoss is too stong S+ tier.

Under 10 races would fine but 30+ is too much. It's understandable that everyone has his ideas and playable options, but from tournament and balance perspective it's a nightmare. Do you know someone who will be interested to work on SC2 extension pack? Have an idea for years that could bring SC2 on another level. Working title "SC2 Elite" if this goes well another extension to it "SC2 Elite Ultra"

Mixing casts is actually a good idea, more can be covered and the video has more spice to it, not to mention variety.

TUMOE: Yesterday I saw a Combat Protocol dealer. Creeped all my Last Protoss homies out! Seriously though, Demolde really needed more Eternals and even some Cybros Arbiters to deal with those Floodwalkers. The Xill air force doesn't pose much of a threat so Optic Rays would've countered their anti-ground army. Initiators(adepts) don't do nearly enough damage to Roachers as they're not light spam, but adding Fallen(High Templar) and more Arbiters would've done much better despite the gas cost. Oh, right, today's the big patch day where some of the more dominant races get hammered.

Finally!!! I've waited for a 30 races mod game for so long. Thank you for casting man!! gonna be waiting for some more!!!

This mod -Gives you awesome tools and allows so many different strategies. -Has very cool units designs and army composition. -Portrays interesting factions with distinct character and coherent abilities -It’s relatively balanced and feels fair. It’s a strong contender for the best original faction SC2 mod.

Is there a purely-mobile race? Like all the infrastructure buildings are units - like the carrier/factories horn/horner use in co-op?
