Isane would've been a breakout character if Bleach was released today. People would be simping for this Tall Queen especially after the Beach Episode.

The beach episode was based on a short story you could see in some the chapters at the end, it was kinda like the cover stories in one piece.

To everyone commenting I was just joking and I know of the Chew video I watch Tekking Religiously go on older videos you’ll probably find one of my comments every now and then to be honest I think he can make quality out of majority of things he does while sitting on his bed

She's underrated to no end. Her dedication to helping her captain as well as her sister is heartwarming, while her willingness to to get dangerous to protect their charges just seals it.

that´s the downside of kubo being so good at character design...there´re so many bleach characters who are easily interesting enough (visually and personality-wise) to have their own spin-off

She's tall which is good, but she's weak which is bad

I love how, at the end of the Thousand Year Blood War, Squad 11 becomes really protective of Squad 4 since pretty much everyone owes them their lives.
They are in debt with squad 4 since their captain unohana trained their captain who's her successor into the mightiest kenpachi of them all.
Well at least there are some pay offs at the end there.
*not that well into bleach so people can correct me* But it would been funny that after that, Squad 11 guys also started to simp over Isane. Unintentional consequences for becoming the new captain but I would of found it funny.

The only thing you forgot to bring up was Isane’s desire to chase after enemies despite her role to heal.
She does this twice: First after Aizen in the Soul society arc, and then after Rudobon in Hueco Mundo. Interpret this how you will, but I think Isane desperately wants to prove herself in battle but is never given the chance.
It’s even possible that Unahona shortened her leash because she got slapped by Ichigo.
It must be frustrating for her, especially since all the other captains let their lieutenants basically kill themselves at the drop of a hat.

This is why I was hoping Kubo would make a series only focused on the Soul Society with the Arrancar and maybe the surviving Sternritter. And the series would focus on the Soul Reapers who didn't have that much focus on and and even show some more "Turn Back the Pendulum" moments aka the past. But alas no. Ugh...
Well, Shonen Jump was gonna drop Bleach no matter what. Little that Kubo could do at that point, so the light novels are the best we can hope for at the present.
I'm surprised he didn't mention that Isane uses kido to communicate with all of the captains and lieutenants which were pretty cool and useful in the Resue arc,

@@gameinsane4718 For all we know, during her transition period from Yachiru to Retsu, she could've been doing that while training with Kirinji. Would make for some dark and wholesome entertainment.
Very underrated especially it the "Best Bleach girls" department everyone either talking about Rangiku or Yoruichi or Rukia but no one talks about our beautiful tall angel Isane especially after that beach episode.
I didn't notice any of those during the beach episode. Too busy looking at Unohana.
Yoruichi is a "real woman" (her own words), and Unohana is the mother you don't want to mess with.
That's the problem, bleach has so many best girl candidates it's hard to remember the ones who get less screen time. Isane is super cute, definitely underrated.
I was in the Lisa/Soi Fon camps but I agree, she was underutilized. Aizen noticed Yoruichi's but if we talking bout legs man, it's all Kotetsu

I could see her Zanpaktou freezing to look like a fan when activating further/actually use, like ice building between the 3 blades. She could dance with it or something to produce some snow or cold mist
Its a weapon trap blade, so I could see it being a reverse version of Rukia's. Where her's freezes her, it could instead freeze an opponent's blade.

Isane was such an underrated Bleach waifu. That beach episode man. Never saw her the same way again. 😉
In all honesty Isane is my #1 girl in Bleach, shame she wasn't used more often.

Out of all the Lt. that got promoted to Captains. She was the one I was most surprised and happy for. She’s a great successor. Not saying the others didn’t deserve theirs. Also I’m now realizing the next generation has 3 ice user in the captain ranks. Kinda like those 3 equal to what Yamato did with fire. I like that!
How about the fact that ISANE was the one who informed EVERYONE of Aizen, Gin, and Tosen's betrayals? She may have been underused as a character but without Isane, the plot would never have moved forward.
Literally almost any other adept kido-user could have done it if being present during that time so I don't see anything impressive about it.

id imagine her Zanpaktou is like Byakuya or Rangiku in that it spreads a light snow around but that can infused with Kido/kaido/Hado to heal or damage respectfully. With her Bankai making the area of effect greater and being almost blizzard like. This could be scary given given how destructive some higher level Hado is, and that'd happen to anything touching her snow?

I'd like Isane's zanpakuto to have a cryogenic type ability, where she can freeze the fallen and the dying in a state of suspended animation until they can be properly healed later
I've seen it suggested that Isane's power might be somehow related to anasthetic. I like that idea, maybe it can numb the body at varying strengths, anything from dulled pain to complete numbness, and it causes a cold and floaty sensation, as if you're floating on a frozen cloud

I ate a really good BLT sandwich with streaky bacon, iceberg lettuce, tomato slices, and rye bread. When making a BLT, make sure you cook the bacon till crisp for maximum flavor. Cut your tomatoes into big slices, cut your lettuce, and make sure you toast your bread until it's light brown. Then top it all together and there you go! I hope you all get to eat a really good sandwich as well!

Sometimes I forget Tekking's capability to make 30-minute videos just about anything. But it's an Isane video, so I'm not surprised that it's just 24 mins.
Isane was an underused character. I did like her in the soul society arc. The beach episode enough said. Always thought she was cuter than Rangrku. Had the biggest crush on Isane.
Isane was always the prettiest and most interestingly designed soul reaper IMO. Plus, I love her personality. She’s very relatable to me.

Actually Masashi Kudo was the one designed the zanpakuto spirits. Kubo was originally meant to, but he wanted to see what Kudo would come up with. Kubo approved it all, and was likely based on Kubo's notes though.

@@corruptangel6793 Yep. That's how much Kubo respects Kudo. Their artstyles are so similar a lot of people think a lot of characters that Kubo designed were designed by Kudo.

I always found Isane's height to be her most beautiful trait about herself. I saw her tall height as a physical reflection of a strong & independent woman and that supports Retsu Unohana's decision of making Isane her successor. She and her sister got some justice and respect near the end but as a long-time admirer of Isane I wished she had gotten more screen time in the canon storyline.
I personally believe her zanpakuto would be similar to the Hidden Mist Jutsu from Naruto were she would conjure a cold mist that cover and clouds a person's sight and sensing abilities. She could infuse her healing kido in the mist to allies and control not just the cold itself but also her enemies body temperature so they could freeze faster. Thanks Tekking for doing a video on the beautiful Isane Kotetsu. ❄
The side blades are a weapon trap, if you've ever seen a katar, those sometimes have those prongs for catching an opponent's blade.

I like the idea of her sword being like a concealment cloud so she could stay hidden while she heals the wounded.
It makes sense that her sword is an ice type since you put ice on your body if your hurting or get burned. Or if you loose a finger your can preserve it in ice until you get to the hospital to attach it back.
Ōmaeda: My zanpakuto is useless it is just big ball with spikes on a chain.

Itegumo: Frozen Cloud= Mist
-Mist is a form of cloud cover, so it's defensive
-Sword's Tsuba is an 8-directional diagram that appears to be a snowflake, possibly a reference to it's freezing nature, possibly a reference to it's range: It spreads out Mist in all eight directions North, South, East, West, and their variants?
-Isane is a healer, healing Mist?
Zanpakuto's always have combat uses, "frozen" and "Cloud", only the aspect of "Frozen" has negative or detrimental connotations, Cloud is passive
-Frozen: to render a thing icy through extreme cold temperature, for an object/creature to be rendered inert
-Cloud: an intangible blob-like form of water vapour that appears in the sky, A mental condition meaning "Troubled" or "Confused"
-Could Itegumo's mist-like abilities interrupt thought processes/Reiatsu flow and allow for easier disposal of enemies?
Itegumo's blade shape is possessive of three prongs (Half-Life 3 confirmed?) meaning multi-directional
-Tsuba's shape, Blade's number of prongs, multi-directional attack/healing skills?
Isane's personality: Fearful, Healer, awkward, self-conscious: Is reliable but needs to be able to rely on others
-Personality impacts on Zanpakuto's form
-Mist (Frozen+Cloud=Mist) is a form of cover, harrying opponents, allowing for a quick gettaway or a sneak attack
-Isane's personality shows that she needs assistance to be useful, does her Zanpakuto needs other's around it to be useful too?
-Itegumo only creates mist that has either Detrimental or Helpful effects, it doesn't cause damage on it's own unless Isane swings it
Itegumo is a purely defensive weapon that is best used when it's weilder (Isane) is fighting in a squad

Well either that or when she got one-shot by Ichigo. Same as Sasakibe for him being knocked out by Ichigo and/or being killed with that Quincy Javelin.

I actually forgot that the lieutenants were in shikai when Ichigo humiliated them like that. Just makes the scene more entertaining in my mind

I like the idea of a mist shield for her zanpakuto like a dome of aurora lights that can heal her allies in it. And I imagine her bankai extends the range and maybe makes the opponents weaker like muscle cramps. Plus I like the shikai looks like a sai, honestly makes me wish we saw more of isane

Small correction: Kirinji(from the Royal Guard) taught Unohana what she knows about Kaido, so presumably he was Captain of the 4th before she was, allowing her time to be Captain of the 11th until she encountered Zaraki a few hundred years (or whenever it happened) before canon.

Rudobon Chelute Captain of the Exequias. I'm still wait on his video Tekking come on I really would like Rudobon's discussion because Spoiler Rudobon is still alive, surviving being punch by Yammy and survived the SternRitter attack on Las Noches. He is worthy to be an Espada now. Yea, Rudobon was smart then the other Espada, he like "Yea, I'm not deal with this woman, I can sense an aura of death around her." Also really, do you need to put Kaido picture up when you say his name? I know he's the best One Piece character right now... but come one you talk about Kaido in other videos, let have a good Bleach force one. I like the mist idea for Isane's shikia. Good new is, we got news about Kudo going to maybe reveal all the Bankai we never got to see, so maybe in Brave Souls we get to see them animated and used. Dang even in Brave Souls Isane only use Kido too. Yes she when to the Soul King's Palace, But most like was take out by Lille Barro sniper everyone for afar.

I personally always found Isane attractive. Both in terms of body and personality. She just seems really sweet. And maybe a little fun to tease. Besides she's not that tall. She's kinda average to me since she is about my height and I'm roughly average for my home area. Even from the girls there were a fair number who were taller than me. And I'm sitting a 6ft.
Also both hairstyles are nice but I personally prefer the pre time skip. I don't know, something about that look just kinda does it for me.
Back to back videos on the 2 lieutenants I would imagine are the hardest to make videos for. I am so ready haha

I've never really understood why squad 4 were completely disregarded. They're easily the most essential part of the gotei 13. Without their support and healing the entire army would be f*cked. There's a reason targeting doctors is a war crime, it's a really good tactic and everyone kept doing it so they had to tell them not to.

Maybe someday, we'll get another data book with information that Kubo wasn't able to present in the manga, which gives Isane and others some more character, and reveals her shikai abilities and her bankai
I always liked Isane, even if much wasn't done with her. Her design attracted me, even among the other lieutenants
