    I really like this vehicle in Night Package.
    Is it based on body on frame.

    Yes the next GLS owner will pay for the $5000 new air suspension, after the first owner has lost $50,000 in depreciation.

    I've been trying to configure one with E-Active suspension, but the option is no longer there. Is it the chip shortage excuse? Also, why can't I configure AMG line without having to choose the generic and dumb black interior? I want brown, and AMG package. Weird. I'm torn between this, the GLE, SQ8, or Cayenne S. I've been a VAG customer my entire life, but dealers are ripping people off so might look elsewhere such as Mercedes.

    Nice review. For me the GLS 400d. Greetings from Spain.

    They could really improve the design of this with a few smaller changes. Especially to the rear end.

    "I wish the new GLS had the look and feel inside of the new S class." THANK YOU!! This is the part that baffles me with the GLS- why is there such a gap in interior quality between the S class & GLS? Why can't I get the same premium seats & finishes that are found in the S class, in the GLS? Whereas the x7 & 7 series are on par, if not nearly the same. Huge mistake by Mercedes, and probably a reason why I see so many more X7's than GLS's in southern california. The X7 drives better, has a nicer interior, and doesn't have such a bland exterior- strip away the mercedes badge and it could be mistaken for a Chevy or Buick.
    I love the size & practicality of the GLS, but hopefully Merc makes some key mid-cycle refreshes (at least on the interior), especially since the new 7 seat Range Rover has potential to steal buyers. Of the full-size SUVs, the new RR is my favorite- beautiful exterior, interior, seats 7 with potential for adults in the 3rd row, 2nd row hinges forward and is car seat compatible, plus the rear-wheel steering to improve handling. Aside from build quality perceptions, there's not much to dislike

    They finally give you the option to get body color wheel arches on the 450

      The x7 sits too low. Feels like a minivan.

      switched after 8 years of driving bmw (had x5 and 3 series ) to mercedes. telling you MB is diffrent ball game, you feel technology and comfort in one place.

    Unfortunately, MB ruined it with their electric, numb feeling steering.

    Interior is lacking and looks cheap

    This is a joke compared to a Expedition Limited Max. And they cost $20k less.
    No automatic running boards, significantly less space, underpowered. To think I even considered this Mercedes trim for my wine tours.

    • @blaiseducdaumont1280
      @blaiseducdaumont1280 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But the Expedition Limited is not classified as a luxury vehicle. Different demographic.

      so you think expedition limited is better than this because it has automatic running boards and big space?
