When there's a very minor indication of an Engine turning on, when it starts up, and the car is a 2022 Mercedes Benz E450 All-Terrain Wagon (as an owner, I KNOW), all hell breaks loose.

Did this vehicle have the e-active body control? If so, curious if it makes a notable difference when cornering, and worth the upgrade? Really surprised that it returned ~22mpg (highway). With that “efficiency” combined with the overall comfort, it could be a great road tripper. My telluride was so practical but after a few 7-10 hour drives, i realized the ride was very bumpy and cabin was loud. It wasn’t very comfortable IMO, and there’s a significant step up with the German brands

We have a fairly basic 450. Sure the 6 isn’t going to have the character of the V8, but it is very smooth, has enough power and suits the vehicle well. It is easily the quietest vehicle we’ve ever owned and the handling is a bit deliberate but the ride is silky. Ours is on the base 20” wheels so it doesn’t consume tires every 10k. Even still, the thing scares me to death once the certified warranty runs out. So much so we will probably take a bath on it before then to trade into a more commodity product.

If u weren’t “constantly interacting with her screen” u’d b constantly “interacting with 4 thousand 5 hundred buttons, switches & levers” with all of the vast array of options and settings new luxury cars have integrated with-in themselves. A screen allows for a cleaner dashboard/center console/driver area. I honestly couldn’t see how new full-featured vehicles could exist without screens.
