I still remember when I worked at an office and a coworker that would eat fast food everyday and over 200 pounds would comment on me eating a handful of grapes “but that’s a lot of sugar!” 😂 seriously?
Thank you, for telling worries they can chill. It seems like in today's time people are stressing too much. It's nice that you dispel those rumors as a professional it should go a long way with people. I wonder if it's just people being perfectionists. Or what, I learned long ago that stress is dangerous and causes disease.
Would you do a segment on eating and coffee in the morning? I have coffee with whole milk and stevia or monkfruit first, then eat an hour or so later and then excericse. Coffee is my favorite time of the day and I'm stressing about it not being the healthiest way to have it. I believe that I should have food first, but I really don't want food first. Any suggestions?
For me, I try to be as aware as possible how I feel physically and mentally. I find listening to my body tells me if something I eat is a good thing or a bad thing. Plus, if coffee in the way you're drinking it helps you keep healthier habits, I say go for it!
Idk if you can mention a specific brand. But I am starting to like Dave’s Killer Bread. It looks and and sounds like a healthy bread. Especially the whole grains bread.
I’m tired and discouraged. I do good for a bit and then fall off the wagon and feel like shit all over again. If I’m not counting everything I don’t get enough protein or I eat too much sugar. I’m tired of counting but I have too because every time I stop I gain weight.
I keep it simple by eating the same thing every day until dinner…an egg white omelette with a lot of veggies for breakfast and chicken bone broth soup with a ton of vegetables for lunch. Both very filling, loaded with a wide range of nutrients, high protein, low calorie. Instead of counting calories. I just eat a wide range of things for dinner, keeping it reasonably healthy and reasonably sized portions. I make sure I get enough protein by drinking a few protein shakes and one small handful of nuts during the day, and limit other snacks to healthy things like baby carrots and seaweed. If I stick to that, I don’t need to count anything or worry too much about what I’m having for dinner. The breakfast and lunch are so healthy I can’t go wrong if I don’t go nuts at dinner.
You hit the nail on the head so many times. 💖
Moderation in all things
