Thanks to your programs I am creating my own GLP1. I can say that I no longer experience the hunger and need for sweet and highly processed foods. I eat two protein, fat and fiber meals a day and at 63 I feel amazing. Thank you so much Autumn for all your videos, recipes and awesome nutrition tips you are giving your peeps 👍❤️🇨🇦
One thing I've noticed with the protein products is things like "protein yoghurt" and "protein cheese" and they usually end up at the same grams/100grams as the ordinary product but way more expensive...
I have started water aerobics with pool weights while my husband swims laps. My joints are much happier than when at the gym! I have bad scoliosis and arthritis. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, tips and encouragement!
This was a great and informative video! Great job, Autumn! IMHO, we as a society are always on the go and resort to quick and easy (fast food, microwave dinners, etc.) and have gotten away from healthy eating. We have been inundated by manufacturers, marketing and sales to entice us to eat their products, many which lack quality nutrition! We need to learn more about nutritious eating. Again, great video Autumn!😊
A huge trend here in Sweden for the last couple of years has been lactose free dairy everything. I would love to hear your opinion about those products Autumn! Thanks for a super interesting video!👍🏼❤️❤️
Can we create a trend of possibly banning corn syrup in the US. There’s other countries who has done and it’s benefited them, it would be nice if we followed as well. I only say this cause I made the decision to cut it out of my diet completely and came to realize how many foods we put it in. It’s scary to see how flooded we are with a sugar that’s so bad for you.
Fermented foods are also an excellent source of vitamin K2, which helps move calcium from your bloodstream to your bones. I walk outside usually 5 days a week, and while it wasn't typical, I walked 60,000 steps yesterday! Atlanta has great walking trails.
Thank you Autumn! You’re the first nutritionist that I’ve listened to that is bringing up the issue of nutrition and fitness paired with chemical supported weight loss. I really wonder how the health stats look when you are taking drugs/GLP1-1 to suppress weight gain but not supporting the body systems on a cellular level. Not sure if this totally makes sense…. I am not a scientist, just an advocate for full body health
Autumn, I'm considering Mounjaro due to having Type 2. Ive upped my protein thanks to you anyway and will be doing strength training. Any other tips to stay/get as healthy as possible while on it?
I think the big trend for 2025 is people doing challenges to try to minimize Ultra Processed Foods. Things like eating single digit % of daily calories from UPF, etc.
I can say that my newest trends are to conentrate on nutrient density eating with an awareness of protein and my gut microbiome. I listen to you , The Glucose Goddess and to the Healthy Immune Doc out of Loma Linda. She has a different view of protein needs than you do. I would love love love to see the two of you get together and discuss protein together. I find the protein issue very confusing. Especially when it comes to heart disease. My family has a history of that. And I know that high glycemic foods and high fat foods are the cause. But heart doctors do not reccomend red meat and full fat dairy. It's a lot to consider. I hope to find a specialist in the gut microbiome to follow in 2025 as well. This might clear things up a little.
Hi! I have the Complete Intermittent Fasting Bundle which includes over 100 protein packed recipes, including smoothies and pancakes! You can also check out my Official Smoothie Cookbook with over 75 recipes as well! You can find more details about the Programs and Cookbooks here: autumnellenutrition.shop
How can you morally support element knowing they put maltodextrin in their product? It’s a small amount but it’s still there and the company was not transparent about it. I would rather just have some water with pink salt than a man made artificially flavored electrolyte drink
Has anyone else seen the high protein candy bars in stores yet? Literally Reese’s and Snickers with higher protein than the standard bars 😂. Its absurd
I eat a high protein diet and use semaglutide, so I find it really helpful to lower my calorie intake while still getting nutrition. I also like GLP-1s because then I don’t get that light headed, nausea feeling when I haven’t eaten for a while.
Hopefully these trends will turn into permanent lifestyles choices with the exception of ozympic (and other GLP-1s). I don’t trust big pharma and this may be the next Viox. Hope not, but time will tell. What i see in my clients that have tried them is muscle loss as a main factor of the weightloss. I emphasize high protein plus strength training to countrract the muscle loss.
Not suggesting your poor neighbour is over weight, but gee focussing on your overall body and bone strength goes hand in hand with your weight. I have 2 dear friends. All 3 of us are now 61. Blerk! One fell down 3 low steps at her house. Completely destroyed her knee requiring surgery. She also couldn’t get up. She’s like 5’2” and well over 100kg. The 2nd fell over fresh air on a footpath and destroyed her knee also. She’s about 5’1” & around the 100kg mark. Got up but struggled and is due for surgery. Meanwhile this little black duck growled at the dog in the backyard for digging a hole, turned and tripped over a huge rock, broke my finger and headbutted another rock. Oweee! But….. I was able to get up. Growl at the dog some more. It was his fault! Go into my house and drive myself to my GP who said ‘you’ll survive.’ With a dent in my head & X-rays for my knuckle. I was back at it in just 3 weeks. I’m like 5’ nothing & around, yes in metric! 62kg. I just think older folk seem to be very sedentary, sloppy weak muscles & let’s face it. We haven’t fallen over for decades & come down with a thud. Made so much worse by being overweight and unhealthy. Thankyou for being my favourite nerd & teaching me stuff. 💖👍
Its said they hide maltodextrin under the natural flavor label. They are not honest about ingredients and maltodextrin spikes insulin and has been deemed not good for diabetics. This is why the flavor is strong. The maltodextrin is the carrier.
Hi! From my understanding, maltodextrin is used as a carrier for the flavor. I believe it’s about 1/10th of a teaspoon worth. From my experience, I haven’t seen it raise blood sugar levels though.
@AutumnBates they have found that it has more than that. Also, just wanted to check to see what your natural flavors are in your protein powder? Does it have Maltodextrin in it?
Amber - love you girl, but do some more research for those who are prescribed GLP1’s. You are painting with a broad brush. For folks going to a med spa or buying on the internet - completely different story.

🌞 Thanks, Autumn! ⚘️

Thank goodness you are ahead of the food trends curve Autumn!

so timely, Autumn, love this video preparing for 2025! All things I've been hearing about! Thank-you! 💗
I loved this video. Fresh perspective!
Great trends I am already trying to include🎉
My hubby and I did Seven Sisters this summer! Loved it!

Thanks Autumn! Listen to Autumn, she's right.
Love it 👏👏 also…. using your 100 mile walking challenge as a push to get more of my steps done outside 🙌
Hey Camille! I'm happy you're getting more steps outside! ☀🤗
Great video Autumn 🧡

LMNT contains maltodextrin
Would love a video on how best to eat on GLP-1.

Good morning, Autumn!
I think the big trend for 2025 is people doing challenges to try to minimize Ultra Processed Foods. Things like eating single digit % of daily calories from UPF, etc.
Autumn, I'm allergic to tree nuts. What do you recommend as an alternative to almond flour in your recipes.
Love these new trends (except GLP1 🥴).
Mashalla!

Have a look at Dr Tim Spector, be is all about the gut microbiome.
What is your recipe for protein powder and what kind of filler do you use for water filler? Is big berkey good?
What do you think of the new xylitol craze? Is it worth the hype?
Do you have a cookbook for the smoothies and pancakes?

this content should be translated in every single language so whole world can benefit....you are amazing autumn!
It also contains maltodextrin
It does but at a very small level. Still, they should disclose that it is there, or, get rid of it.
Has anyone else seen the high protein candy bars in stores yet? Literally Reese’s and Snickers with higher protein than the standard bars 😂. Its absurd
yes! and then they're like 10g protein in the whole bar which, while not nothing, is not really that impressive!
It’s a trick! No truth in labeling.
@@mockingbirdnightingale7169 for the same amount of protein and less calories and nasty ingredients, I’d rather just eat a chomps stick.

Why are you promoting LMNT, with all the controversy going on with them?
What’s going on with them? I use that salt too and it’s pretty expensive.!
I was going to ask about this too. Is it true that the natural flavors have hidden maltodextrin?
